Hi everyone, Next year I’d love to spend some time in the Dolomites and do a few nice hikes—not too difficult. Can anyone give me some tips? I’ve read that it gets super crowded, you have to start really early, and everything’s pretty expensive. Anyone familiar with the area? Thanks for your help

Hi there,

No replies yet, so... My experience in the Dolomites is limited to a short week—just before August 15th, nearly two years ago now. I was in Val di Funes. Stayed in Tiso. Easy hikes at the foot of the Odle range. Crowded, sure, but not overwhelming—nothing like what we ran into the day we went to Val Gardena.
