Et voila que je reviens pour une nouvelle demande " où vivre ...."
Je voudrai bien avoir des renseignements sérieux, sur l'idée d'une retraite en corse ?
J'ai lu beaucoup de plus et surtout beaucoup de moins ! ( trop )
C'était souvent lié aux demandes de travail régulier ou saisonnier , ou bien d'une implantation dans l'ile ( achat de maison , de terrain , ou de commerce par exemple) quand aux reflexions sur les corses eux mêmes : j'ai zappé !
Si on voyage , si on s'installe , si on apprécie les autres , si , si , si ....
A mon avis , on va de l'avant on s'ouvre, on attend , on donne aussi = alors tout peut arriver le + le - NON ? OUI ?
Il y a des années ( qq 30 ?! ) avec des amis un tour de corse en voilier .
le coup de coeur , le coup d'amour pour cette ile à été total . mer et montagne. diversité des paysages , ce que Tous ceux qui connaissent aiment aussi.
Je ne suis pas accro du littoral , et les villages sont superbes...
J'attends les nouvelles avec patience , interêt , et remercie ceux qui prendront le temps d'écrire ; A Bientôt.

Quelques lectures sur le forum m'ont laiisées un goût amer ." de voyageur " avec un ressenti tellement négatif dans plusieurs domaines relatifs " à l'ile " : ses habitants , leur mentalité , les intégrations difficiles sinon impossibles, des différences de vie et de vue sur les choses de la vie etc. etc.

Habiter en Corse n'est pas un problème, il l'est bien moins que de vivre dans un quartier naze, dans une ambiance de petites frappes et/ou fliquée.
Certaines personnes ne se sentent pas bien ici car elles ont l'impression d'être loin de tout, un genre de claustrophobie îlienne : c'est LA toute première cause de mal-être ici.
Si tu aimes la nature (petites sorties, randos, pêche, sports nature, associations diverses...), tu seras servi. Si tu aimes le canapé-télé aussi. Si tu aimes le socio-culturel, ça peut se gâter (théâtre, ciné...) car il y a moinsd'activités que dans les grandes agglomérations (en plus, les subventions se font rares comme partout en France). Si tu aimes le foot, tu sera très servi : ici, c'est comme une religion pour beaucoup avec la chasse en prime pour certains. Si tu fais de la politique, ne viens pas, comme si tu as une grande gueule (mais ça, je suis sûr que non car tu ne poserais pas de questions intéressante) ou si tu veux faire un commerce (quoi que, parfois, ça marche côté intégration). Si tu ne parles pas la langue, pas grave mais ça peut être pratique si tu parle corse comme un vrai(?) Corse. Et tu semble avoir un nom courant (bien que ce ne soit pas un critère important).
Bref, je te dirais que la retraite en Corse, c'est le top comme ça peut l'être dans un environnement qui convient autre part dans le monde : réponse de Normand comme on dit.

Votre message date de quelques années (2 ans exactement) mais m'a intéressé au plus haut point car j'envisage très très sérieusement de continuer ma retraite hors continent.... j'ai hésité un moment entre la Corse et le Portugal mais veuve et seule la seconde solution ne me parait peut être pas la plus adaptée 😉
Habitant dans le Var depuis plus de 30 ans je commence à en avoir assez de "certaines" fréquentations (et je ne parle pas que des touristes 😊) ; je recherche donc - bien entendu - un endroit aussi ensoleillé.
Je n'aime pas le foot, pas plus les randonnées mais lorsque la dernière fois que je suis venue (en janvier pourtant) j'ai eu la sensation que je pourrais très bien y poser mes valises ... et mes meubles 😎.
Pouvez vous me conseiller Corse du nord ?? Corse dy sud ?? y a t'il une grande différence question "qualité de vie" et acceptation de "l'estranger" (quoique j'ai un nom de famille assez connu des Bastiais... mdr !!

Les fréquentations indésirables sont de mise ici aussi, comme partout ! Les racontards, les "pia-pia", sont courants, il faut les accepter; faire avec... Surtout en Corse il me semble.
2A ou 2B ? Nord ou sud : c'est pareil. Le dirais qu'il y a plusieurs "zones" : ville, montagne, zone touristico-côtière, proche ville ou lieu paumé. C'est selon chacun.
Le foot est roi ici aussi avec la même typologie que les adeptes de la religion PSG, OM, OGCN...
En fait, il faut aimer la nature, les randos. Pas trop de culturel (expos, conférences, spectacles) même si ça se développe. Et comme les mauvaises périodes climatiques poussent à rester chez soi, il faut aimer la télé ou la lecture si on est plus "citadin" que "paysan".

Ayant vécu 8 ans en Corse, 4 ans à Ajaccio en couple puis 15 ans plus tard, 4 ans en famille à Figari (les alentours), je te déconseille la Corse si tu n'es pas "branchée" nature (randos, ballades, découvertes, ...)... A part dans les villes telles qu'Ajaccio et Bastia, qui vivent toute l'année d'une façon, ailleurs hors périodes estivales, c'est tout de même très très calme... Une vie sociale n'est pas facile à créer en milieu urbain, encore moins en montagne si on ne partage pas la vie insulaire hors saison... S'y installer retraitée, cela veut dire qu'on n'a pas du tout une vie sociale au départ grâce à son job ou en tant que parents... donc comment envisages tu de t'intégrer en Corse ?
Y passes du temps pour des vacances ou s'y installer définitivement, il y a quand même une grande différence !
Moi je me suis très vite intégrée, mais j'y travaillais et aussi j'étais en couple ou en famille... on faisait beaucoup de sorties en montagne, on partait à la pêche, on participait à des soirées entre amis corses au village, etc...
Comme a dit notre ami de Prunelli, à part la télé et les ballades en bord de mer ou bronzette en été, pour quelqu'un qui n'aime pas les sorties randos/nature & C°, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire hors de l'été...

Je disais que pour moi m'installer en Corse c'est d'en faire ma résidence principale et dé-fi-ni-ti-ve .... investir et m'investir (pour cela je pense plutôt aller dans une petite ville pour pouvoir m'intégrer complètement et "associativement".
De plus un de mes petits enfants à ses grands parents Corse (il part d'ailleurs dès le début des vacances scolaires et n'a qu'une idée : pouvoir y rester heureusement sa mère ne serait pas contre cette idée d'installation donc je ne serais pas seule.
Mêem dans une petite ville, s'intégrer complètement ne veut pas dire grand chose, certes il y a dans les grandes villes telles que Bastia et Ajaccio quelques assoc où des non-corses sont présents, mais sinon dans les autres communes la vie associative est très corse et où on parle en corse...
Si ta famille t'y rejoint, bon au moins tu ne seras pas seule mais je me demande si tu n'es pas porté sur la vie dans la nature, les randos, etc ce que tu pourrais y faire durant toute l'année d'une façon active et intéressante...
