J'ai le projet de partir travailler dans le sud de la Corse pendant 4 mois pour la saison 2008 dans un gîte ou office du tourisme (diplomée BTS tourisme), j'aimerais avoir des infos et conseils sur cette destination....
Est-il facile :de trouver un logement à un prix raisonnable? (car la Corse en été ça ne doit pas être donné!!)de trouver un job où l'on est nourri et logé ?
Quelle est la meilleure période pour commencer à postuler ?
Et quel transport sur place me conseillez-vous : emmener ma propre voiture ou louer un scooter sur place pour la saison par exemple ?

Trouver un logement pour tout l'été et à un prix raisonnable sera très dur.Les locations se font à la semaine.Il vaudrait mieux peut être se tourner vers les campings.
Pour trouver un job nourri, logé;oui pas de problème mais dans le domaine de la restauration (serveur, cuisinier réception ).
Commencer à postuler le plus tôt possible, même maintenant;tu auras plus de chances.
Louer un scooter à la saison te reviendra assez cher.J'opterai plus pour venir avec mon propre véhicule.

Pourquoi un "JOB " dans un gîte ou office du tourisme" ? Et pourquoi pas aussi dans un village de vacances, un hôtel... ?
Tu as des possibilités dans tout ce qui concerne l'accueil ; le personnel est souvent logé et nourri, contrairement aux établissements de la Côte d'Azur par ex. Saches que ce qui fait la différence à l'embauche (à compétences égales)est le parler de langues, surtout l'allemand, l'italien, l'anglais (le néerlandais est un plus).
Pour les tansports, la location d'un scooter est cher, c'est vrai. Selon le lieu, tu peux acheter un vélo pour la saison et le revendre ensuite à des locaux. Si tu as une voiture, ça vaut le coup, selon où tu es, de venir avec mais calcules le coût du voyage. Saches aussi que certains employeurs paient ou avancent le prix de ton aller-retour ou s'occupent de la démarche pour les billets.
Tu parles du sud de la Corse : n'oublies pas que la Corse a aussi un nord et un centre (la montagne) et que le touriste peut aller en Balagne comme à Porto-Vecchio, Ajaccio, la Plaine Orientale, l'extrême sud...
Tu peux commencer la collecte des adresses en utilisant Internet afin d'envoyer ta candidature par mail* dès mi-décembre avec relance par courrier mi-janvier (ça montre une volonté et de l'intérêt), la saison commençant courant mai. Pour mieux te vendre, tu peux dire que tu es disponible avant l'ouverture, on ne sait jamais. Mais tu as dû apprendre toutes ces "astuces" lors de tes études...

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
