Alors je vais essayer d'exposer mon cas assez brièvement :
Je suis diplômée d'un BTS Commerce International et j'ai le niveau Licence Pro (Bac+3).
J'ai travaillé dans le secteur du commerce international (import-export en relation avec l'Asie) pendant 7 mois.
J'ai quitté mon travail pour reprendre mesétudes en Septembre 2008 mais je n'ai pas trouvé d'entreprise qui puisse m'accepter en alternance (je suis soit disant trop qualifiée pour reprendre mes études en alternance 🏴☠️. Bref, depuis le mois d'Octobre, je galère vraiment pour trouver du travail où je puisse parler Anglais.
Récemment je suis restée une mois dans une entreprise mais j'étais plus opératrice de saisie qu'autre chose.
Mais j'arrive à un point où je sature et je n'en peux plus de rester chez moi les yeux rivés 6 heures sur l'écran à la recherche d'annonces.
J'ai passé des entretiens qui n'ont jamais abouti et je ne comprends vraiment pas !
Je suis quasi-bilingue en anglais et je parle 2 autres langues étrangères....et je ne demande qu'à être formée sur le tas à défaut de mon manque d'expérience.
Donc je songe depuis un moment à quitter la France pendant un moment pour travailler à Londres.
Je suis restée 2 mois la bas dans el cadre d'un stage et j'ai vraiment apprécie la vie la bas.
Je ne sais pas comment me préparer, c'est à dire me rendre sur place et chercher ou tout faire d'ici ?
Je ne suis pas difficile et j'accepte les petits boulots au moins pour me stabiliser.
bsr, je suis d'accord avec neme1001, il faut aller a londres car tu imagines que d'autres personnes viennent sur place pour rencontrer les employeurs, et c'est trés rare pour ne pas dire impossible de trouver un taf a partir de la françe.tu prends une auberge pr quelques jours et tu fais le porte a porte et tu prends le premier job qui se présente et je suis sur avec l'éxperience que t'as et les langues étrangéres que tu parles ça va se faire pas de souçi. bon courage. si t'as d'autres questions n'hésites pas.

Ce que je te conseille de chercher, c'est un travail ou tu as besoin de parler des langues etrangeres. Comme les anglais sont nuls pour les apprendre, tu auras plus de chances.

Nemo a raison, il faut mieux reserver une auberge de jeunesse a l'avance et prospecter pour un logement.
NE FAIS SURTOUT PAS CONFIANCE AUX AGENCES, qui te proposent monts et merveilles et n'en valent pas la peine. Et SURTOUT, SURTOUT, ne reserve pas de logement en envoyant de l'argent par avance avec Western Union. C'est une arnaque bien connue.
Pour ce qui est du marche du travail... tu dois bien te douter, qu'en ce moment, avec la crise, c'est loin d'etre rose. Avec Woolworth qui menace de licencier 12000 personnes d'ici au 5 janvier, ca empire meme de jour en jour. Mais bon, qui ne tente rien n'a rien.
Au niveau finances maintenant, Londres est TRES TRES CHER ! Une chambre en colocation devrait te couter aux alentours de £350 ou £400 livres par semaine. Le transport est egalement tres couteux. J'habite en zone 3 et je paie £120 livres par mois pour ma carte Oyster (carte Orange)... donc tiens bien cela en compte si tu veux venir.
Au fait, le consulat francais a aussi une aide a l'emploi pour les plus de 26 ans (gratuite) et le centre Charles Peguy (Leicester Square) pour les moins de 26 ans (payante)... donc, a toi de voir.

Je t'assure que c'est vraiment une galère....tu cours à gauche, à droite, tu passes les entretiens et on n'est même pas capable de te répondre par email (ce qui est gratuit par rapport à un appel). Je sais qu'il ne faut pas que je perde de temps car plus j'y réfléchis, plus ça me ralentit. Pourtant je ne susi pas complquiué, je demande juste à parler anglais, à croire que c'est impossible ! Je pense que partir à Londres, y travailler pendant une certaine période est mieux que de rester ici et ne rien trouver...Je ne dis pas que je vais trouver directement mais je sais comment est la vie la bas et avec de la persévérance, j'espère pouvoir trouver....Mais tu as raison, côté économies, c'est pas trop ça car nos situations ne sont pas stables !

Vous pourriez peut-etre beneficier de mon experience. Je suis Francais/Algerien residant a Londres. Je suis, a present, chez mes parents a Valenciennes. Je reprends le travail le 5. Vous avez tous les atouts pour reussir: les langues et votre age a un degre moindre. Autre chose a noter est que le systeme Anglo-Saxon est tres different du systeme Francais. Vous avez peut-etre remarque cette difference durant votre stage. Si vous avez des questions a poser, je ferai de mon mieux pour y repondre. Sinon, bonne chance et surtout perseverance.

Bien sûr, j'ai tout de suite remarqué la différence entre les deux systèmes et c'est surtout ça qui me pousse à partir car je me sens plus proche de l'anglo-saxon que du français.
Mes langues sont mes atoûts mais ici, impossible de les valoriser et je trouve ça vraiment regrettable. Mais bon, je ne suis pas la première à décider de me lancer dans cette expérience et je n'ai vraiment aucun regret concernant mon départ car trop de choses m'ont encouragé à entreprendre cette démarche.
bsr thiziri, je vois que tu vis a londres, voilà je veux savoir si tu connais comment décrocher un job dans l'hotellerie car je suis gouvernant d'étage, et bien sur je peux accépter d'autres métiers comme cafetier, ou homme d'entretien ect... mais mon vrai travail c'est gouvernant, car j'ai éssayé avec staff kingdom si tu connais ça n'a rien donné et vraiment j'ai envie de partir car ça devient urgent. merçi a bonne soiréé.si tu connais aussi une auberge sympa pas trop chére je suis prenant.

Auberge: c'est le site que j'utilise pendant mes voyages. C'est un site serieux. J'ai toujours paye avec ma carte de credit et je n'ai jamais eu de probleme. Je me permets de te conseiller d'aller dans une auberge pour les raisons suivantes:
1- Economie d'argent. Ton budget tiendra plus longtemps. La Livre Britannique ayant chute (£1 = €1.06), tes Euros te rammeneront beaucoup plus que d'habitude.
2- Rencontrer des gens et plus particulierement des Australiens et Neo-Zelandais. Ils connaissent bien le systeme, et visent, en general, l'Hotellerie et le Batiment.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
