Je serai enceinte de 6 mois, debut du 7eme mois. Vous pensez que c'est faisable ou que c'est de la folie? En principe on est plutot du genre a voyager a sac a dos sans prevoir mais la j'ai repere plusieurs hotels tres sympas et qui semblent bien confortables, on limitera aussi au max les trajets, le but etant avant tout de se reposer 🙂 merci pour vos avis!

Il existe des vols directs Sydney-Denpasar d'une duree de 5h30-6h et decalage horaire de 3h. pensez-vous que ce soit trop fatiguant?

Quel est l'etat des routes sur l'ile? Est-il raisonnable de voyager avec la compagnie de bus Perama ou c'est trop complique en etant enceinte de 6 mois?
dur de vous conseiller quelque chose aussi longtemps a l'avance...Si votre grossesse est strictement normale pourquoi pas...prenez un vol a la derniere minute(ca serai dommage de réserver maintenant et de pas pouvoir partir)mais renseignez vous aprés de la compagnie aérienne, car toutes n'accptent pas les dames avec une grossesse avancée.En étant enceinte, on ne peut pas prévoir aussi longtemps a l'avance, trop de paramètre entre en jeu!!

Enfin du coup je pense me rabattre sur Cairns que je ne connais pas, et attendre d'avoir accouche pour partir a bali, d'autant qu'a en lire les autres temoignages, voyager avec un enfant a bali est un vrai bonheur. Cairns c'est 3h de vol, pas de decalage horaire et en cas de soucis l'hopital n'est pas loin et je serai couverte par la secu australienne. Faudra juste faire attention aux meduses, aux crocos, aux serpents et autres bebettes australiennes 🙂
Nous desirons partir a Bali dans 2 semaines, pour 5 a 6 jours.
Vivant a Singapour, la duree de vol est de 2h30 et il n'y a pas de decalage horaire... donc je en m'inquiete pas du tout au niveau de la fatigue liee au vol.
Je serai alors enceinte de presque 7 mois (7 mois complets 3 jours apres notre retour).
Jusqu'a present tout se passe tres bien, aucune complication, et etant donne que je m'arrete de travailler dans un peu moins de 48h, je serai super reposee au moment du depart, dans l'eventualite ou nous partons.
Voyageant avec notre fille de 22 mois et etant deja alles a Bali une fois, nous prevoyons de visiter un peu le matin et de rester a l'hotel l'apres midi (voir eventuellement ressortir se promener un peu autour de l'hotel si nous sommes motives)... mais le programme sera assez tranquille a comparer de celui de notre premier sejour a Bali en Aout 2006 (3 jours intensifs ou nous partions toute la journee de 9h a 17h minimum !).
Malgre toutes ces precautions, pensez vous que le fait de partir a Bali quelques jours represente un risque non negligeable pour la sante voire la vie de notre deuxieme princesse et eventuellement ma sante ?
Bali est une île où il y a peu de risques sanitaires. Néanmoins, ils existent. Surtout si tu pars en février/mars. Ne penses tu pas que contracter une dengue, même bénigne, n'est pas sans risque dans ton état ?
Il est clair que la dengue represente un risque dans mon etat : si je en trompe pas, cela pourrait provoquer l'accouchement... c'est d'ailleurs pour cette raison que je suis tres prudente de ce cote la depuis que je suis enceinte car a Singapour egalement les risques sont non negligeables (meme si le gouvernement fait tout pour sensibiliser la population).
Mais etant donne que la dengue ne se declare qu'une semaine apres avoir ete pique par le moustique porteur du virus, je serai de retour a Singapour si jamais la maladie se declarait... donc si je devais accoucher plus tot je sais que ma fille et moi serons entre de bonnes mains ! (mais comme je suis tres prudente cote moustiques les risques ne sont pas trop importants + je cours autant de risque a Bali qu'a Singapour car la dengue est aussi presente, particulierement cette annee)
A vrai dire, ce que je crains, c'est d'accoucher sur place : je ne suis aps certaine que els soins neo-nataux necessaires pour un premature soit tres au point a Bali !!
Tu sais bien qu'une grossesse n'est pas l'autre et que si proche du terme, c'est un peu dommage de te rendre sur une île où les infrastructures sanitaires ne sont pas celles auxquelles tu aspires. Mais bon, aller à Bali dans ta situation ce n'est pas de l'inconscience disons que c'est un peu risqué... C'est juste mon avis.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:
