* Jour 1 : Arrivée à Jackson Hole Récup de la voiture de location
- Dodo au Painted Buffalo Inn à Jackson Hole
* Jour 2 et 3 : Yellowstone (200 km) Route via le Grand Téton NP déjà vu en partie l'an passé) => passage par la US 89/191 et arrêt photos à Mormon Row, Blacktail Ponds Overlook, Glacier View, Teton Point Turnout, Snake River Overlook, Oxbow Bend Turnout
Yellowstone (là c'est un peu brouillon encore, je ne sais pas trop comment organiser le "tour" 🤪) :
Moose Falls, Lewis Falls, Lewis Lake, West Thumb Geyser Basin, Lake Village (Fishing Bridge and Area for sunset),
Mud Vulcano, Artist Point, Upper & Lower Falls du Canyon (à faire avant l'après midi),
Roaring Mountain, Norris Geyser Basin, Artist Paintpots, Monument Geyser Basin, Gibbon Falls,
Firehole Canyon, Lower Geyser Basin, Fountain Paint Pots, Fire Lake Drive (Great Fountain Geyser, White Dome, Pine Cone, Narcissus, Steady geysers),
Midway Geyser Basin (Grand Prismatic Spring à faire pluôt le matin + hike up the north end of the parking area to Bluff Point. Here you can take a terrific photo of Midway Basin area including Grand Prismatic Spring, Excelsior Crater, Indigo Spring, Turquoise Pool and the Firehole River and Twin Buttes),
Upper Geyser Basin, Biscuit Basin (jewel Geyser + one-mile trail to Mystic Falls), Black Sand Basin (dont Rainbow Pool, Emerald Pool), Old Faithful Area,
Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower-Roosevelt (Undine Falls, Wraith Falls)

* Jour 4 : Missoula (460 km) sortie par le nord de Yellowstone et route le long du lac Hebgen, Earthquake Lake, Virginia City, Nevada City et Twin Bridge
- Dodo à Missoula mais où ??? (un petit hotel propre suffira 😛)
* Jours 5 et 6 : Glacier National Park (390 km)
- Route vers West Glacier et La « Going to the Sun Road » de West Glacier à Saint Mary + Lake Mc Donald (+sentier qui part au dessus du visitor center, il y a des chèvres de montagne et une superbe vue sur le lake Mc Donald), Logan Pass, St Mary lake.

McDonald Lake + stop at the Moose Turnout, just beyond the end of McDonald Lake + Avalanche Creek area and a hike along the Trail of the Cedars. From this point on stop at all the turnouts either for a photo or to evaluate the photo possibilities for later.
Logan Pass : take the Hidden Lake Trail as far as the overlook.
Stop at the turnoffs along the way down to St. Mary Lake
St. Mary lake: stop at the turnouts at the end of the lake for a view of 100-foot Virginia Falls across the valley. From the Virginia Falls turnoff or Sun Point you can take some short hikes. One is a fork that leads to Sunrift Gorge where a steep, paved path leads to an overlook with windswept pines and views of Baring Creek cascading over slickrock. Another trail continues around to the end of St. Mary lake and leads to St. Mary and Virginia Falls. There is an excellent view of St. Mary lake as the trail rounds the lower end of the lake over a bluff. The trail continues to St, Mary Falls and then over a bridge at the base of Virginia Falls.
For excellent photo views of the lake, take the short spur road to Sun Point and the next turnout. Goose Island View (1.5 miles from Sun Point) is a "must stop." This is one of the most photographed views in the park. The Little Wild Goose island adds to photographs of the lake. The next turnout, The Narrows, is where the width of the lake is just a quarter mile across. Take the short path to the lake for some outstanding views.
Near the road to the St. Mary campground, you have a good view looking southwest of the lake. Just before the town of St. Mary, a road leads down the east of the lake a short distance to the Eagle Lake Trailhead. This trail takes you through grasslands and aspens and cottonwood groves, and is another good location to photograph St. Mary lake. Mountain goats inhabit Red Eagle Mountain.

* Jours 7, 8 et 9 : Banff (390 km)
- Parc National de Banff (via le lac de Minnewanka). Montée en télécabine au sommet du mont Sulphur Tunnel Mountain Drive : chutes de la rivière Bow, Hoodoos.
The road then climbs to a viewpoint on Tunnel Mountain where you have some outstanding views over the Bow River Valley. Tunnel Mountain Drive then becomes Tunnel Mountain Road. Look for two pullovers about a half mile from the Hoodoo Turnoff where you can photograph some excellent views of Mount Rundle.
The next stop is the Hoodoos parking area. An easy half-mile paved path takes you to good views of the hoodoos, Mount Rundle and the Bow and Spray river valleys. Near the beginning is a terrific view of Mount Rundle and the Bow River Valley. A little farther on is a good view of the hoodoos with Banff Springs Hotel in the distance. The last viewpoint is another view of the hoodoos with Cascade Mountain in the background
Vermilion Lakes Drive is three-mile dead-end road that runs north of the Vermilion Lakes and parallel with the Trans-Canada-Highway

- Remontée de la Icefield Road pour Jasper (départ de très bonne heure) par la vallée de Bow, lac et glacier de la Bow Lac Peyto (compter 15mn du parking (BEAUCOUP de monde). glacier Athabasca (avec une halte pour une randonnée en autoneige ?) chutes Sunwapta et Athabasca.
Arrivée à Jasper en fin de journée
Jasper/le lac Maligne/Jasper (145 km).
Arrêt aux lacs Pyramide et Patricia, Edith et Annette + balade au canyon Maligne et du lac Medecine.

- Dodo au Bear Hill Lodge ? ou l'hôtel Amethyst (a l'air Full) ? ou le coup de folie : Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge ?

- Route pour le parc provincial du mont Robson (balade au lac Kiney 2h30 A/R ?) Route sur la Yellowhead Highway Vers Kamloops, le long de la rivière Thomson et le parc provincial Wells Gray (Helmken Falls, les Spahat Falls, Bailey's Falls)
là => 2 choix (on a éliminé l'idée d'aller à Cascades NP) : on réduit de beaucoup les visites du jour et on va à Kamloops direct ?
=> on aura 1 jour de + pour Seattle
Ou on s'arrête à Clearwater à l'entrée de Wells Gray ?
(sachant qu'il faudra alors une étape de plus pour aller à Seattle)* Jour 13, 14 : Seattle (470 km) Jour 13 : route vers Seattle Jour 14 : petite visite de Seattle
- Dodo au Warwick Hotel 1 nuit
- Dodo près de l'aéroport 1 nuit
* Jour 15 : avion dans la matinée pour hélas rentrer 😕
