Car j'ai vécu avec mon épouse et ma fille 1 ans en République Dominicaine avec aucun vaccin ou de cloroquine, nous fassons des oeuvres humanitaire donc nous somme dans des villages et régions (dans le nord de la RD) avec des maringouins et avons jamais eu aucun problème et connaisson personne qui en à eu. Nous continuons à le faire à distance et y'allons pour vérifier que se que nous supportons aille toujour de l'avant...
Nous avons de bonne habitude alimentaire et gardons notre système humanitaire fort.
Je me prépare à allé passé quelque mois aux Nicaragua et compte le visité de fond en comble, beaucoup de gens me dise de prendre plusieur vaccin et de la clorequine, mais j'ai l'impression que y'a plus de campagne de peur que de vrais gens qui ont ses problème. Je sais que ces gens me le dise pour mon bien mais mettre toute ces cochonnerie dans mon système me fais plus peur pour ma santé que les possibilités d'avoir le problème...ces juste mon opinion.
Donc revenons à ma question avez vous quelq'un de près ou de loin qui à eu des problème grave de santé aux Nicaragua ??? 😎

Les gens la-bas... sa dépant si vous être méchant avec eux et que vous conté resté la longtemps, ils vont vous avoir dans le détour, sauf que lorsque on agis correctement avec eux et qu'on dévelloppe de bonne relation avec les gens de la place WOW il nous le rende bien. Mon expérience moi et ma famille aimons les dominicain et le haitien qui son la. Nous avons demeurer a Cabarete 6 mois et 6 mois entre Cabarete et Sosua. Côté température saison des pluie se termine en novembre Habituellement décembre le beau temps reviens car ces la que les touriste recommence à revenir. Si la vie est chère sa dépent comment vous vouler vivre si on mange local avec 75 à 100 pesos tu à de bon repas ... ils y'en à pour toute les bourses. On peut faire un beau voyage avec un petit buget et ont peux dépenseer des millier de dollars sa dépent de vous et votre portefeuille... 🙂

ca fait 4 ans que j'habite au Nicaragua. Je n'ai pas connu de gens qui ont eu la malaria. Par contre, il est possible d'attraper la "dengue". mais il y a moyen de prévenir et d'éviter les piqures de moustiques: utiliser une moustiquaire, emploi de répulsifs, contrôle des eaux stagnantes...etc....
La prise de cloroquine, je l'ai fait qu'une fois, c'était pour aller à Puerto Cabezas, mais en réalité les conditions n'étaient pas pire qu'à la capitale.
Je pense que si tu as déjà une expérience de la vie en Rep. Dominicaine tu ne devrais pas avoir de problème au Nicaragua pour assurer ta santé et celle de ta famille...

on trouve des repulsifs "standars" un peu partout dans les épiceries, les pharmacies et les supermarchés. en comparaison avec ceux qu'on peut trouver en France, ils ont a peu près la même efficacité. Mais si tu en as déjà et qui fonctionnent bien, autant les emporter...
Ce que j'utilise en camping ce sont les spirales, une à chaque coin à l'extérieur de la tente, et la nuit se passe sans soucis...

moi aussi j'utilise volontiers les spirales, (quoique une horreur chimiquement parlant, enfin, il vaut mieux inhaler cette m.... que se gratter furieusement toute la nuit...), mais un bon répulsif sur les chevilles le soir sous la table du resto... ça reste le confort+++, c'est dingue comme les vampires aiment les chevilles!

Je vois que tu vis au Nicaragua depuis longtemps. Je vais m'y installer durant un an et si j'aime j'aimerais bien y vivre. Je me demandais est-ce facile pour un étranger de ce trouver un travail? C'est que je pars pour un minimun d'un an pour le Nicaragua dans 45 jours et plus la date approche plus j'appréhende un peu. Je me demandais dans quel ville tu vis? Est-ce que tu as des trucs ou choses a faire ou ne pas faire? Tu y a trouver du travail? J'y suis allée à deux reprises...l'an passé deux semaines à Montellimar et en février cette année en pack-sac durant trois semaines. Je suis littéralement en amour avec ce pays. Mais d'ici on entend que les histoires d'horreur et j'avais les belles histoires alors c'est épeurant un peu. Alors j'aimerais bien avoir l'avis d'un étranger vivant au Nicaragua. We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
