J'ai évidemment perdu mon carnet de vaccination internationale, qui est le Petit carnet jaune! savez-vous si je dois le refaire faire? comment? et ou? sachant que j'ai fait des vaccins à la fois chez mon médecins, et à la fois à l'aéroport.
ensuite, je commence à me poser des question puisque beaucoup de personnes me disent de faire Attention aux médicaments à apporter qui peuevnt être considéré comme de la drogue.
Avez-vous des informations sur des médicaments à se méfier sur les pays suivants:
Ca va etre dur de trouver un forumeur qui connaisse les regles pour chacun de ces pays.
Pour t'en sortir, prépare toi une liste de médicament que tu compte prendre avec toi.
Et avec cette liste, va sur le site officiel des douanes de chacun de ces pays afin de voir si ils sont autorisés ou pas.
Une fois cela fais, si tu as des precisions ou des doutes, pose des questions plus précise dans le forum du pays en question.
Pour la Thailande, mis a part un traitement particulier, tu devrais trouver facilement les médicaments classiques un peut partout. Pas besoin d'etre prévoyant.

Allez demander un duplicata de votre carnet international de vaccination dans le centre qui a pratiqué la dernière vaccination Fièvre Jaune (c'est en général payant, mais pas cher).
C'est la seule vaccination dont on peut vous réclamer la preuve à l'aéroport d'arrivée.
Ensuite, il est préférable, en cas de problème médical en cours de voyage (une simple plaie, par exemple, pour le tétanos), de faire marquer sur le dit carnet par votre médecin traitant les vaccins qu'il vous a fait.
Quant aux médicaments, c'est complexe, dépend des quantités, des pays, ...
Suivez-vous un traitement régulier ou voulez-vous partir avec des médocs "au cas où"?
Sinon j'avais fait des photocopies. Pensez-vous que ce soit suffisant?

Si vous êtes vacciné Fièvre Jaune (de moins de 10 ans), le plus simple est de partir avec un duplicata de carnet (la photocopie n'est pas réglementaire).
Si vous avez été vacciné au service médical de l'aéroport, allez y avec votre photocopie, vous faciliterez les recherches.
Les photocopies pourront servir par contre pour les autres vaccinations.
Pour les pays , attention au fait que certains pays réclament le certificat pour les voyageurs venant de ou ayant transité par un pays d'endémie, et que c'est assez changeant, en particulier en Amérique latine.
En général, il faut une ordonnance de préférence en dénomination internationale précisant la posologie et la durée de traitement pour introduire des médicaments autres que les produits basiques en vente libre . Tout dépend aussi des quantités. On ne vous mettra pas en prison pour 5 comprimés de somnifère, mais avec 5 boites vous pouvez tomber sur un douanier soupçonneux et avoir quelques ennuis si vous n'avez pas l'ordonnance.
Je ne tenterais pas d'introduire le moindre stupéfiant à Singapore ( vous verrez sur la fiche d'entrée...)
N'oubliez pas que vous allez dans des pays où vous trouverez pharmacies, médecins, hôpitaux si besoin, sauf si vous allez vraiment dans des coins très isolés seul.
Aux Emirats Arabes Unis il est interdit d'importer de la mélatonine, considéré comme drogue mais vendue librement dans toutes les pharmacies des Etats-Unis d'Amérique

-en général les médicaments vendus sans ordonnance en France ne posent pas de problème , sauf exception genre Arabie Saoudite (produits contenant de l'alcool...) , mais ce sont en général des produits que l'on trouve partout dans le monde, dans les grandes villes au minimum...
-les médicaments sur prescription en France posent des problèmes plus complexes. Souvent avec présentation de l'ordonnance et quantité adaptée au séjour, cela passe. Mais certains pays ont des classifications et réglementations spécifiques, souvent liée à la quantité transportée, et il vaut mieux se renseigner (Thailande et Vietnam en font partie)
-le transport de stupéfiants nécessite une autorisation préalable auprès des autorités, et les documents nécessaires. Transporter de la morphine sans autorisation peut coûter très (très...) cher.
Il y a eu aussi l'histoire en Géorgie où une française s'était fait coller car elle avait dans son sac à main du Dafalgan (paracétamol) avec de la Codeïne.... Codéïne ayant été identifié comme "stupéfiant"

La plupart des pays tolèrent l'équivalent d'un mois de traitement dans ses bagages, si plus, faut les acheter sur place (du moment qu'ils sont disponibles)
ça je le sais, car un client s'était fait coller (maintenant je ne me rappelle plus où) et ils avaient cru qu'il faisait du trafic... Il a du laisser le surplus à la douane...
Le DAFALGAN-CODEINE ne se vend (en principe) en France que sur ordonnance, mais c'est un produit très courant, la codéine n'y étant pas considérée, en dessous d'une certaine quantité, comme un stupéfiant. Ce n'est pas le cas partout. Si indispensable: Ordonnance, quantité faible (quelques jours) avec renouvellement sur place, et renseignements préalables auprès des autorités.
Idem pour tous les dérivés de l'opium. Le Tramadol devrait être mieux accepté, mais dans les pays stricts, il vaut mieux vérifier.
Attention à ce sujet aux sirops antitussifs en vente libre, dont beaucoup contiennent de la codéine. Certains ont en plus dans leurs excipients de l'alcool, et sont réputés pour leur usage détourné par les toxicomanes. En avoir quelques flacons dans ses valises peut faire découvrir le tourisme carcéral...
Que les lecteurs ici d'ailleurs ne s'imaginent pas qu'il suffit de ne rien dire. Le principe des contrôles douaniers, ou de sécurité, c'est l'aléatoire. Ce n'est pas parce que plein de gens sont passés sans problèmes que vous, vous ne serez pas fouillé.
Je ne me souviens plus de ce pays (le Mexique?) où à la douane on nous fait appuyer sur un bouton et où une lampe s'allume de façon aléatoire: Vert vous passez, Rouge vous avez droit à une fouille très approfondie...
Pour revenir à la question de départ: Pour un tour du monde un peu long: Si traitement en cours, quantités acceptables (un mois maxi, effectivement, semble bien) ordonnances, courrier médical si possible, et renouvellement dans des pays étapes à bonnes structures sanitaires. Si médicaments "au cas où": Réfléchir à ce qui est vraiment indispensable (dépend des conditions, des pays...), petites quantités ( renouvellement si besoin comme ci-dessus). Peut aboutir à avoir une boite de paracétamol, un antiseptique cutané, 3 pansements type Urgo, un répulsif anti moustiques et bien sûr l'indispensable antipaludéen si la destination le veut. A discuter avec son médecin.

C'est comme l'excès de vitesse sur la route. ce n'est pas parce que je passe à un endroit tous les jours qu'il n'y aura pas un radar demain.
Sauf que les risques aux frontières peuvent être plus sérieux très vite: Les douaniers n'aiment pas la dissimulation, les produits interdits sont interdits, il y a quand même pas mal de pays où on ne rigole pas avec la loi, et la garde à vue/prison est alors un réflexe synaptique de tous les douaniers du monde (et dans certains endroits c'est je dirais pudiquement "désagréable" 🙁)
Pour le vaccin fièvre jaune, si j'en crois votre profil, vous n'avez jamais été en Afrique...
Oui d'accord mais il y a 1000 dangers et problemes possibles en voyage, on ne peut pas se pourrir la vie avec des choses qui ont une chance sur 1000 ou 10000 d'arriver.
Préparer sa pharmacie pour un TDM peut s'avérer être un vrai casse tête. On est passé par là... Je rajouterai par rapport au réponses qui t'ont déjà été données qu'il faut impérativement noter les DCI (Dénomination Commune Internationale) des médicaments "courants" que tu penses utiliser : en ayant cette info sur toi, tu peux te rendre dans n'importe qu'elle pharmacie du monde et ils te trouveront l'équivalent! (ça t'évitera de trop te charger...) Attention toutefois au contrefaçons... surtout en Afrique. Si tu veux en savoir plus, tu peux jeter un oeil à ce que nous avons emporté dans notre pharmacie (on fait un tour du monde de 2ans).

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
