J'y suis allée du 8 au 22 décembre en 2002 et c'était chaud. La première semaine a été plus belle que la 2e. Dans la 2e, un peu de pluie et pas mal de nuages.
Je choisirais mars et avril pour aller à Cuba...........c'est quand même une île plus au nord......près de la floride, et à cette période de l'année, c'est plus frais, ça c'est sûr!
Je suis allé à Cuba en avril de cette année, et c'était super beau, ni trop chaud ni trop froid!
Le mexique me semble plus sûr pour fin décembre, janvier et février...

Je connais deja le Mexique et souhaite vraiment aller à Cuba . Je ne tiens pas à ce qu'il fasse 35°. Mais qu'il fasse beau.
j'aimerai faire un petit circuit cool, pas trop fatigant. Voir La Havane, Trinidad, Varadero et coyo Largo. Pour 8- 10 jours c'est suffisant .
j'ai lu quelques guides, mais ils parlent seulement de saisons sèches et humides. Le nord de l'ile est plutôt "océan atlantique" et le sud est vraiment la "mer des caraïbes".
Connaissez vous des voyagistes "bien" sur cette destination ?
Alors cookie, si tu y vas dans la saison froide, vas plutôt à Holguin, ou bien à Santiago de Cuba dans le sud.....là, ce sera certainement plus chaud......
À Varadéro ou Cayo Largo, il est possible que la température ne dépasse pas les 20, 22C....
Quant aux voyagistes, étant canadienne, je ne pourrais que nommer ceux de par chez nous....alors je laisse à un participant français du forum le soin de te répondre sur ceci....🙂
Je ne comprends pas Diamazone. Pour avoir été très souvent à Cuba pendant l'hiver (Décembre, Janvier), je peux t'affirmer qu'Holguin a toujours été (dans mon cas) plus frois que Cayo Largo... Peut-être confonds-tu avec Cayo Coco, ce qui serait plus exact.
Si tu n'es pas trop pressée, la meilleure période à mon avie est le mois de mai. Il fait environ 28 30 d et il n'y a pas trop de vent, j'y suis allé 2 fois en mai ( 1 semaine et 2 semaines ) il a fait beau tout le temps. Mais c'est pas l'idéal pour se sauver de la neige! En plus il commence à faire beau au québec ( à part cette année). Celou (ps: en plus, vers la mi-mai, c'est beaucoup moins cher)

j'avais choisi le t.o nouvelles frontieres car il offrait la possibilité de confectionner mon voyage a la carte.J'ai donc choisi ma compagnie aérienne (iberia en l'occurence) choisi mon vehicule, choisi mes hotels et mon itinéraire.Le fait que vous voulez visiter plusieurs villes, cuba etant u n grand pays implique qu'i les preferable de ne pas rentrer dans la journée sur une base mais d'opter pour u n circuit enboucle.Je m'etais limité a l'est de cuba n'ayant que 10 jours (la havane-vinales-guama-trinidad-santa clara et 3 jours de repos a varadero.) Quand aux categories d'hotels c a vous de voir, meme les plus modestes sont toujours propres

Je suis moi meme allé a Cuba, varadero, au début novembre de la dernière année.. il faisait beau et on a eu 2 jours de petite pluie en soirée et une journée de pluie dans la journée. Ce jour là nous étions en visite a la Havane où il faisait très beau! Temps mieux! Je te conseil d'aller visiter ce site :
Tu as la climatologie mensuelle et journalière de la ville de la Havana avec les levé et coucher de soleil... surtout l'indice de pluie est intéressante. Selon le tableau il pleut davantage en juin septembre et octobre. De mon côté j'ai entendu dire qu'en décembre c'était agréable. Lorsque j'y avais été on me disait que les cubains se baignaient en général que l'été! Que l'eau était à leur gout l'été mais pas l'hiver brrrrr qu'ils disaient... mais ils sont habitué au grosse chaleur!! mais avec une moyenne de 23 à 26 degré... en novembre je me suis baignée avec plaisir! Et la température ressemble beaucoup a celle de décembre! Avec le site dont je t'ai parlé, tu peux inscrire Cuba comme pays et ensuite tu pourras choisir entre les villes désiré dans le choix alphabétique!
Je crois que tu devrais y aller en décembre sans crainte si c'était l'idée et le temps que tu disposais! :)
Je suis allée à Cuba au mois d'avril et j'ai eu un temps supêrbe, c'est une excellente periode pour y aller. En revanche si vous voulez vraiment voir Cuba, n'allez pas à Varadéro, ce n'est pas vraiment interressant et ce n'est pas là bas que vous rencontrerez les Cubains, je vous conseillerai Trinidad, plutot, qui est la plus belle ville de Cuba que j'ai pu visiter. Je suis partie avec havanatour, on a pu louer une voiture et c'était super, mais si vous pouvez loger chez l'habitant, il y a des gens qui organisent de s voyages de ce style, c'est encore mieux.
Sachant que moi et ma femme n'avons pas peur de la chaleur (mais attention à l'humidité), quelle est la meilleure période pour visiter Cuba? Cordialement

I’ve planned a three-week itinerary for this summer, from August 9 to 27, in Sri Lanka:
Negombo – 1 night
Sigiriya and the Cultural Triangle – 4 nights
Kandy – 2 nights
Ella – 3 nights
Tangalle – 6 nights
Colombo Airport – 1 night
I know this isn’t the ideal time for the south since the beach conditions aren’t great, but we’ve booked a hotel with a pool and won’t be swimming in the sea. We want to relax after all the travel since we’re bringing our two kids, aged 6 and 8.
I know the east would be better, but (i) I’m struggling to find suitable accommodation, and (ii) it adds a lot of travel time, and my kids can only handle about 3 hours at a stretch.
I looked into Arugam Bay, but it’s a 7-hour trip back to Colombo from there.
I’ve checked every weather site imaginable, but they don’t all agree. Do you think we’ll spend our whole trip in the rain, or is the monsoon in the south mostly limited to the sea, as I’ve read?
I’m worried about ending up in the middle of a natural disaster with my two young kids, given recent events.

This year, 2026, I can only get away in April and May. I never travel during these months usually, and from what I know, they aren’t the best for India. But in such a big country, there are always spots that are better than others weather-wise.

I’ve looked into a few different options: Brazil, Cambodia, and Ecuador. The last one really appeals to me, but what’s making me hesitate is the risk of our trip being a bit too rainy (literally ),
We’re more drawn to the Andes, exploring colonial cities, typical villages, markets, and a bit of the coast. We’ve already gotten a taste of this in Bolivia, Colombia, and Chile. Plus, we’d love to do part of it by car since we’re used to driving at our own pace and stopping whenever we feel like it. Anyway, time’s running out, and I need to decide so I can finalize a route and book the tickets!!

I’ve planned a trip to Asia for the first half of November.
I’ll arrive in Singapore at the start of November for about 3 days, and I’ll leave from Bangkok in mid-November.

Just giving you the quick context: A group of friends and I are planning a trip to South Korea (Seoul/Busan) at the end of June/July next year. It falls right in the middle of the monsoon season, but we don’t really have other availability options.😕
I’d love to hear from people who’ve visited the country and these cities during this period—basically, is it not as bad as it sounds, or should we just cancel our tickets (we don’t mind the heat, it’s mostly the rain that scares us).
I know there are plenty of indoor activities, but do you think we’ll still manage to get a few sunny days, or will it be torrential rain for our entire 2-week trip?
The only other country we’ve visited during the rainy season is Brazil (in the northeast) around the same time, and honestly, aside from a few really annoying downpours, we had sunshine most of the time and it was awesome. That said, the climate is totally different, so I’m not sure how relevant the comparison is.

Not sure if guidebooks, agencies, and other tour operators are keeping up by changing their visiting hours and offerings.
Personally, I see a promising opportunity here—jumping on this adaptation to extreme climates before others do, since they’re inevitably coming.
From my own travel experience, I’ve met a few guides so far who are starting to adjust, like in Egypt, Kenya, Senegal, and elsewhere.
They avoid crowds and the hottest hours by starting their tours around 6–7 AM, when it’s cooler.
Yeah, you’ve gotta wake up early, but the payoff is so worth it. 😴
If you’ve got any great tips like this, why not discuss them in this thread and share addresses or websites where the people in charge have realized climate change is real and are adapting? 😊
