Mon fiancé et moi aimerions quitter la france pour partir s'installer en thailande, nous y avons voyagé 1 fois l'an dernier , et nous comptons y faire plusieurs voyages cette année pour aprofondir notre projet.
Mon fiancé tiens une agence immobilière et je suis moi même infirmière. De nombreux forum affirment que le travail d'infirmière n'y est pas interessant pr de nombreuses raisons ce que j'ai bien compris.

pour votre metier d'infirmiere, c'est pas vraiment interaissant pour vous de continuer ca en thailande, vous serez payer au alentoure de 200euros, je ne sais meme pas si un etranger peu exercer ce metier. certain hopitaux priver recherche des traducteurs, peux etre qu'avoir des connaissances medicales aiderait.
l'immobillier se develope "bien", il y a des tonnes d'agence immobilliere. pas chose aisee de demarrer dans ce domaine, pour le lieu il faut viser les lieux avec des expats, ou thai aiser bangkok, phuket, samui, huah hin , pattaya .
question societer je vous conseiller d'aller voir un avocat sur place, l'ambassade a des listes d'avocats.
prennez le temps de preparer votre depart, venez encore faire quelques sejours en reparage et pour vous informez sur place, etudier votre projet.
faites bien atention aux expats sur place, n'ailler aucune confiance ni aux etrangers ni aux thais.

Il y a certes des opportuintes mais vous aurez a faire a une concurrence feroce.
Pour l'ouverture d'une franchise, vous devrez automatiquement vous associz a un Thai a hauteur de 49% pour vous maximum.

Merci pour ta réponse...Apprendre le thai était deja pour moi la priorité avant de partir je me suis déjà renseignée sur des cours particuliers (pas donnés d'ailleurs ) le thai est il compliqué à apprendre ? je parle très bien anglais ce qui m'aidera egalement.
Je suis tout à fait d'accord sur le fait qu'il ne faut pas forcer le destin et attendre l'opportunité c'est la raison pour laquelle nous aimerions y passer qq mois et voir ce qui s'offre à nous....
Mais partir ainsi sans aucun projet concret et précis nous parait aussi un peu risqué...
Nous ne voulons pas quitter dunkerque pour 'aller au soleil" ....la culture thai nous avait tjrs fasciné et le voyage ke nous avons effectué en novembre a été une vraie révélation, nous nous y sommes sentis bien comme jamais...bcp nous dirons que les vacances et la vie au quotidien sont très differentes mais nous sommes reellement motivés...

Je n'habite pas en Thaïlande, j'y ai seulement passé quelques semaines mais en potassant quelques bouquins et en visitant quelques sites Internet, je connais les chiffres et quelques petites phrases.
Je dirais que c'est une langue plus dure à apprendre que les langues occidentales comme l'allemand, l'anglais, l'italien ou l'espagnol dans la mesure où c'est une langue à tons, il faut s'entraîner l'oreille pour les différencier et être capable de les prononcer.
Le thai est aussi difficile au niveau du lexique car tu ne vas pas retrouver de similitudes avec le français. Par exemple, "hôtel", c'est le même mot en français, en anglais, italien, allemand et espagnol alors qu'en thai c'est un truc du genre "rong raam".🤪 Ce qui me pose le plus de problème avec le thaï, c'est bien de retenir le lexique, et pourtant je parle déjà une langue d'Asie du sud-est, le vietnamien, car mes parents en sont originaires et je ne retrouve aucun lexique commun entre le thai et le viet. Tu vas aussi je pense galérer avec l'écrit, il faut réapprendre tout un alphabet avec ses règles d'écriture etc.
Par contre, à l'instar du vietnamien, la grammaire thaie est relativement simple : pas de conjugaisons et donc pas de centaines de formes verbales à apprendre contrairement au français ou à l'espagnol. Par exemple en vietnamien, on ne se prend pas la tête avec les temps : pas de passé simple, plus-que-parfait, subjonctif passé, etc. Si tu veux dire "je vais" au passé, ça donne quelque chose comme "hier/tout à l'heure/le mois dernier + je + aller". Au futur, ça donnera "demain/l'an prochain + je + aller". Le thai fonctionne de la même manière sauf erreur.

très bonne analyse concernant la langue Thaïe.
Pas facile, mais possible tout de même, avec du temps et de la patience.
Je suis traducteur de profession, actuellement retraité en vivant en Thaïlande depuis 8 ans à temps plein.
Il m'a fallu quelques mois pour me débrouiller dans la vie de tous les jours.
J'ai commencé à lire le journal couramment au bout de 4 ans.
J'ai compris la télévision au bout de 5-6 ans, et le téléphone depuis un peu plus d'un an.
A présent, je peux parler à peu près de tout ce qui m'intéresse (philosophie, mécanique, humour) mais je continue à en apprendre tous les jours.
Je suis passionné, l'étude du Thaï est un de mes passe-temps favoris à raison de 2 heures chaque jour environ depuis 8 ans.
Même si le résultat est satisfaisant, j'estime avoir mis beaucoup de temps à maîtriser le Thaï.
J'ai toujours des problèmes avec les tonalités lorsque je prononce des mots isolés, mais comme je construis des phrases complètes et grammaticalement correctes, on me comprend généralement sans que j'aie à répéter. Un mot mal prononcé sur 10, ça ne pose pas de problème, mais s'il y en a plusieurs à la suite, c'est plus difficile.
En tout cas, je peux dire que j'ai aimé vivre en Thaïlande dès le début, même sans parler Thaï et bien que la communication en Anglais soit difficile en dehors des sites touristiques.
Mais à mesure que j'ai progressé dans la langue, commencé à comprendre comment le pays fonctionne, ce que pensent les gens, ma vie est devenue de plus en plus facile et agréable.
Ne prenez pas ce qui précède pour de la vantardise. Je pense avoir passé beaucoup de temps pour arriver à un résultat qui est loin d'être exceptionnel et je pense sincèrement qu'il y a des gens plus doués que moi.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
