D'autres part, est il préférable de réserver des vols intérieurs depuis la France ou est ce facile de le faire aux Philippines?
Et est il préférable financièrement de le faire au guichet de la compagnie aérienne, à l'aéroport ou par internet ou agence sur place?

Pour les vaccins, fais ton rappel DTpolio si ça n'a pas déjà fait.
En fonction des conditions sanitaires du voyage, l'hépatite A peut être conseillée; vois avec un centre de vaccination.
Pour le contrôle à l'aéroport, ils ne m'ont jamais demandé le carnet jaune.
Pour les vols, tu peux faire les 2 mais tu payeras surement moins par le net avant le départ (promos); après ça dépend de la destination; manille cebu c'est de multiples vols quotidiens avec PAL et cebu pacific donc on trouve toujours de la place à prix correct hormis certaines périodes limitées chargées.

pour les hépatites, c'est un peu tard. le tétanos est important, même quand on ne voyage pas. après chacun fait comme il veut.
pour les vols, cela risque d’être plus cher au guichet, et certaines destinations peuvent être complètes. mais réserver avant enlève de la souplesse au voyage !
si, dans le Sud de la France, il n' y a pas de problèmes, il parait effectivement que dans le Nord, à l' heure actuelle, il y aurait pas mal de neige ....?

pour les vaccins, d'autres t'ont répondu. J'avais pris mon ptit carnet jaune par précaution mais il n'est pas sorti du sac.
Par contre, même s'il n'y a aucune obligation, perso j'ai décidé -pas spécialement pour les Philippines, je les ai fait pour une autre destination, mais ça peut servir partout, même en france!_ de faire deux vaccins "conseillés" : l'hépatite A (cf bouffe), et le tétanos (cf blessure), mais c'est une simple précaution que j'ai choisie de prendre, à chacun de voir (surtout pour le tétanos / cf petit incident que j'ai eu un jour en marchant sur une ferraille sur une plage...et en bricolant chez moi une autre fois, le coup du clou rouillé !😏)
Allez, calmos et si tu es comme moi, il ne reste qu'un seul dernier moment à passer avant le rêve : vérifier 3 fois que t'as bien mis billets d'avions et passeport dans ton ptit sac, 😄😄😄 (moui je suis d'un naturel stressé...ICI !)
Une anecdote qui devrait finir de te détendre : il y a une bonne dizaine d'années, je partais pour une petite escapade, et mon père (oui, mon Popa, et alors??) me dit "tu devrais couper eau et électricité avant de partir" (je vis en appart) : ahbah oui tiens, bonne idée !...............un mois et demi après, j'ouvre ma porte et ...une odeur de cadavre, horrible!😮😕😏.....et oui, le congélo, ça marche AUSSI à l'électricité ! (je n'ai plus jamais écouté les conseils de Popa depuis😉)

Et beh écoute, c'est à voir, ici on parle souvent de vols moins cher de Belgique (bcp de low à BRX charleroy) mais ça ne se vérifie pas toujours, loin de là.
Avec ryan, easy, vueling and co vers barcelone, c'est un calcul à voir (par ex, des vols ryanair beauvais-BRC), alors bon, à creuser tout ça !

mes rotations sont en général qatar, 17h à l'aller et 20 au retour, sachant que de perpignan c'est pratique comparé à remonter et traverser paris
l'inconvénient c'est que les avions arrivent à manille à 16h et que si tu ne connectes pas sur une très grosse ville, tu gagnes une nuit à Manille
y'a des billets à 600 avec southern china mais qui font remonter à paris et 4 vols de suite c'est le vol de trop 🙂

emirates assure maintenant 3 ou 4 vols par semaine au départ de lyon. entre 800 et 1000 euro suivant les périodes, avec des promos de dernier moment. fin janvier 523 euro avec départ dans les 15 jours. ce n'est pas le meilleur marché. aller environ 16 h et retour avec escale de 16 h à dubai, entièrement prise en charge par emirates. si on veut visiter dubai......
Concernant les vaccins, j'ai celui contre le tétanos. Une évidence partout dans le monde, même en France. J'ai aussi hépatite B mais pas pour la A. De toute façon, c'est trop tard!!!
J'ai fait la Thaïlande et le Laos comme ça, sans problème. Je croise les doigts pour cette fois-ci!!!🤪
On m'a parlé aussi de la Typhoïde... je ne l'ai pas fait mais suis très prudente. On verra bien.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
