J'ouvre cette discussion pour essayer une fois pour toute de resumer les demarches administratives a faire pour ceux qui viennent en Irlande chercher du taf... et pour reduire si possible le nombre de discussions dupliquees sur le sujet.
De quoi ai-je besoin pour travailler en Irlande?
1- Le PPS Number, c'est en gros la seule chose dont vous avez besoin. c'est un numero d'immatriculation individuel qui sert un peu a tout, sante, tax et autres.
2- Un compte en banque Irlandais pour etre paye aussi. Pour ouvrir votre compte en banque, un justificatif de domicile quelqu'il soit (facture, contrat de location) ou un mot de votre employeur ET une piece d'identite suffisent. Certaines multinationnales qui ont l'habitude d'employer des etrangers peuvent faire les demarches a votre place (si vous travaillez pour elle bien sur).
Comment obtenir mon PPS Number?
Il suffit de se deplacer au Social Welfare office le plus proche d'ou vous residez en Irlande. Pour les ressortissants de l'UE, on vous demande une piece d'identite ET une preuve de domiciliation en Irlande. Une facture, un courrier adresse a votre nom avec l'adresse apparaissant sur l'entete, un contrat de location, n'importe quoi ou votre nom et adresse sont inscrits "officiellement" fera office de justificatif de domicile.
A la campagne, plus souple qu'en ville. J'ai obtenu le miens sous huit jours avec pour simple preuve de domiciliation un mot manuscrit sur papier libre de la famille qui m'hebergeait.
(En ville et vu le nombre d'etrangers en transit ici, je doute que l'adresse d'une auberge de jeunesse suffise).
Oui. Si c'est votre premier emploi en Irlande, assurez-vous que votre employeur envoie le FORM 12A au Revenue dans les premiers jours ou vous commencez. Si ce document n'est pas envoye, lors de votre 3e mois de salaire, vous aurez la mauvaise surprise d'avoir 40% de votre salaire deduit, c'est ce qu'on appelle l'Emergency Tax... et ca fait mal quand ca tombe!🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ pas de panique, meme si vous etes en emergency tax, vous devriez recuperer les tax qu'on vous a sucre des que tout est rentre en ordre (i.e des que le Revenue a recu le FORM 12A). C'est en general assez rapide mais j'en connais qui ont traine 5 mois en Emergency tax... 5 mois avec la moitie de leur salaire en gros. 🏴☠️ Par contre, gros jackpot le jour ou tout rentre en ordre et est verse sur votre compte!😉
Votre employeur dispose d'un delai de 3 mois pour envoyer ce formulaire au Revenue, mais le plus tot est le mieux. Les grosses multinationales ont l'habitude, les boites plus petites, notemment celles qui n'ont pas de reel HR Department, c'est moins sur.
Dans tous les cas, assurez vous bien que ce formulaire soit envoye au Revenue en temps et en heure.

Le FORM 12A est aussi necessaire pour ceux qui ont eu une periode de non employement en Irlande (genre si vous etes partis qq mois et que vous revenez au quel cas l'Emergency tax est aussi applicable).
Voila, les demarches sont quand meme assez simples, suffit juste de se munir des bons documents le jour ou vous les faites.

Merci à toi et à tous ceux qui ont donné un max d'infos sur ce sujet. Je souhaite moi même aller à Dublin cet été. J'ai maintenant des réponses à certaines de mes questions, mais un problème pratique. J'ai bien compris que pour transférer ses Prestations AFR, il faut se procurer un "E303" au près de l'ANPE, et que l'on a ensuite 7jours pour s'inscrire. Mais pour s'inscrire, il faut une adresse fixe à Dublin (ni Hôtel, ni B&B), difficile à avoir en seulement 7jours. Alors si quelqu'un a une idée pour trouver une adresse où domiclier son courrier en attendant de trouver un logement, je suis très très intéressé.

Merci pour tes efforts. Il faut une adresse correcte pour recevoir le PPS. Pour ce qui est des prestations, il s'agit juste d'une disposition qui permet à ceux qui ont cotisé dans l'un des pays de l'union, de pouvoir continuer à percevoir leurs prestations pour une durée max de 3mois: cela permet de voir venir, d'autant plus que je te rassure, c'est juste un transfert de droits auxquels tu avais droit dans ton pays d'origine. Lorsque comme moi tu auras cotisé pendant plus de 20ans avant de te faire jeter, tu comprendras que ce n'est pas démérité.

Si effectivemnet tu ne disposes que de 7 jrs, le mieux serait dc que tu essaies de trouver un logement avant d'arriver en irlande (www.daft.ie) ou alors de bien t'organiser une fois sur place.
je decouvre ce forum en me promenant sur internet a la recherche d infos sur l Irlande. Je n'y suis jamais allee et je suis tres tente aujourd'hui mais aussi tres hesitante vu le climat economique actuel.
Voila ma situation, pour le moment je vis en Nouvelle Zelande avec mon copain qui est originaire d'ici. Nous sommes donc tous les deux capables de travailler en anglais. Je recherche plutot quelque chose dans les medias, et lui peut etre dans un bar ou quelque chose comme (je le ferai aussi si il n y a que ca).
Donc ma question est: toi qui es la-bas, penses-tu qu il y a encore des possibilites pour travailler ou alors que ce n est vraiment pas le bon moment pour venir ? En sachant qu en NZ, il travaille et pas moi car evidement c est la crise ici aussi... La difference c est qu ici il n y a pas grand monde interesse par quelqu un qui parle francais.

J'ai envie d'être cynique et de répondre à ta question en te disant qu'il vaut mieux être un couple avec un chômeur et un qui travaille sur une île magnifique où il fait beau que deux chômeurs sur une île certe magnifique aussi mais où il pleut tout le temps et où la vie est bien plus chère qu'en Nouvelle Zélande la bouffe pas top, les transports en commun catastrophiques.
La crise a très durement touché l'Irlande ton copain n'est absolument pas sur de trouver un travail en Irlande voir même vu la situation c'est quasiment sur qu'il va galérer pour ne pas dire rien trouver. On recrute des francophone pour les centres d'appel mais les recrutements se raréfient et ils sont super select. Quand j'étais en Irlande je bossais en centre d'appel il prenait n'importe quel mec qui venait de débarquer sans trop se poser de question. J'ai un pote qui bosse à ebay ils ont recruté deux personnes qui étaient en Irlande depuis 5 ans avec 3 ans d'expérience dans la même boîte.
C'est triste à dire mais beaucoup de français n'ont pas fait une bonne réputation à leurs compatriotes en venant en Irlande pour faire exclusivement la fête prendre un job et se barrer au bout de même pas 3 mois.
Bonne chance et essayer de chercher en Nouvelle Zélande il y a moyen de faire des trucs.

Meme son de cloche que Leturc: En NZ, ton copain a du taf. Si vous venez en Irlande en ce moment, vous pourrez rester des mois sans trouver le moindre petit boulot ni l'un ni l'autre. Ton Anglais n'est plus un atout aujourd'hui: les irlandais eux-memes commencent a connaitre des mois de non-emploi (fyi, le budget a ete vote ce mercredi, pas joli joli... 🤪http://www.budget.gov.ie/).
Restez encore bien ou vous etes la tete a l'envers, et attendez que ca se tasse si vous souhaitez venir vous installer en Irlande. Mon conseil... 😉

Nous avons, raisonnablement je crois, elimine l Irlande, en tous cas pour le moment, reste l angleterre ou la france... et oui la tete a l envers c est bien sympa mais quand toutes tes attaches sont au bout du monde c est un peu dur apres un moment...
