J'entreprends d'aller vivre à Montréal, afin d'y faire mes études, et je me posais quelques questions, par rapport à l'hiver.
J'ai vu quelques photos, où la luminosité était extrêmement faible, durant la journée, de telle manière que l'on dirait presque qu'il fait nuit ; ce phénomène est il rare, ou fréquent / régulier ? Si l'on devait établir un pourcentage entre les jours beaux, et les jours " moches " , qu'en serait-il ?
Est-ce dur de s'adapter au climat, lorsque l'on vient de France ?

PS: je recherche également un " correspondant " , qui pourrait m'en dire plus sur cette belle ville, j'ai 18 ans .
De octobre à mars, les journées sont courtes, le pire étant novembre, décembre et janvier. Février et mars: ils commencent à faire clair un peu plus longtemps.
Les journées très froides sont en généralement les plus ensoleillées, en fait l'hiver on bénéficie de pas mal de journées (courtes) ensoleillées, mais ce n'est pas le cas en novembre et mars.

J'ajoute que le soleil se couche plus tôt qu'en France, non pas parce que Montréal se trouve dans le Grand Nord (contrairement à l'idée reçue), car la ville est à la même latitude que Bordeaux, mais en raison de la position du Québec par rapport à son fuseau horaire (trop à l'Est)... fuseau horaire qui est bien trop grand.
En clair, la nuit tombe une heure plus tôt qu'en France et le jour se lève une heure plus tôt également. Va d'ailleurs falloir que je me lance dans l'importation de volets... 🤪

Non ce n'est pas bête, beaucoup souffrent de dépression hivernale dans les pays du Nord, et même ici parfois...
Bon, voici une comparaison du nombre moyen d'heures d'ensoleillement entre le 1er décembre et le 28 février (hiver météorologique):
J'ai vécu 20 ans à Bordeaux et 1 an au Québec (plus exactement à Québec). Et mon expérience est que je n'ai jamais autant aimé l'hiver que depuis que je vis au Québec. Il faut juste ne pas rester enfermé et profiter des belles journées pour recharger les batteries (solaires) : vive les raquettes, le ski et toutes les activités hivernales (déneigement de char exclus, mais bon...).
De manière générale, mon impression (toute relative) est que le temps varie plus facilement au Québec qu'en France. Il n'est pas rare d'avoir de la pluie le matin et de finir la journée par un verre en terrasse au soleil. En France le passage d'une dépression entraine plusieurs jours de "ciel de traine". J'ai trouvé le manque de soleil plus dur à Lille (où j'ai vécu 5 ans) qu'à Québec...
Par contre la remarque sur le décalage des journées est plus que pertinente: il faut passer le cap psychologique de se lever tôt pour profiter des journées (quoi à 22:00 tout le monde est au lit ?!!). Mais tout ca se fait très bien, au fur et à mesure de l'adaptation au pays : ne t'en fais pas pour ça.

Mais plus que les valeurs brutes, c'est le % d'heures d'ensoleillement par rapport à la valeur maximale qui est important.
Et de côté-là, à Québec et Montréal, c'est novembre et décembre qui ont le plus faible taux mensuel, avec moins de 30%.
Sinon je suis d'accord avec le reste, notamment sur la variabilité naturelle climatique, due en grande partie à la continentalité du climat.
Cela dit, la France a également des revirements spectaculaires en moins de 24 h, carrefour climatique oblige.

Y'a des cons partout; tous les Français ne sont pas des râleurs, tous les Italiens n'aiment pas le foot, et tous les Québécois ne sont pas aimables et sympathiques. 😉
Je n'avais pas vu passer tes messages car tu les as mis dans Amérique du Nord et j'avoue, comme beaucoup, ne regarder que les discussions estampillées "Québec" car je ne peux pas être d'une grande aide pour les questions sur nos voisins du dessous.
Ne jamais se vexer de ne pas recevoir de réponses tout de suite : essayer plutôt de rendre son message plus intéressant pour le faire remonter. (comme par exemple en donnant la liste des excursions que tu as déjà repéré plutôt que juste les mentionner... en tous cas, moi, ça m'intéresse !)

On se calme...Quand on ne reçoit pas de réponses, ça peut être dû à une multitude de facteurs...Comme le fait que les Québécois représentent une petite minorité des membres du forum, à rappeler que nous sommes à peine 7 millions, contre 60 millions en France, alors forcément, beaucoup moins de réponses de Québécois!
Aussi, ça peut paraître étrange, mais les Québécois ne fréquentent pas tant que ça la section Amérique du Nord...car on y vit. alors on demande moins d'info vu qu'on connait...

bonjour NIKKY, j'espere que tu te rappelle de moi, j'espere que tout va comme tu veux. moi ca va ca fait presque 2 mois que je suis a Montreal , je bosse comme interimaire en attendant un taf stable. j'ai rendez-vous avec une agence a atwater ce vendredi au matin qui recrute pour des bateaux de croisieres un contrat de 3 voir 6 mois , il offre le billet d'avion et c'est nourri et logé et payer cash. mais il m'a dit si je suis interessé je rempli un dossier mais je dois payer entre 100 $c et 150$c et apres 3 voir 5 semaines max, j'aurais un poste vu que les bateaux recrutent énormement. ma question est ce tu connais cette agence ou avoir enttendu parler afin de verifier si c'est une agence sérieuse ou c'est de l'arnaque🏴☠️. svp si une autre personne a des informations veuillez me les communiquer svp ca sera sympa. La règle générale c'est qu'on ne paie JAMAIS pour obtenir un emploi ou ouvrir un dossier pour une candidature...Un recrutement, ça se fait aux frais de l'employeur, pas des candidats...

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
