Hi, I need your advice. I’m heading to Drancy in the Paris region this Friday, on Auguste Blanqui Street—apparently it’s next to a police station. I’d like to get from there to the Grévin Museum, but I’m not sure how: should I take the bus, RER, tram, or metro? If a kind soul could point me in the right direction and explain what type of transport ticket I need, that’d be great. I’m new to getting around Paris—I’m from the north and not used to it. Thanks in advance!

Hi, You can check on Google Maps if needed—it should take about 50 minutes (I just picked a random time):

From Rue Auguste Blanqui in Drancy, walk to the bus stop Auguste Blanqui. Take Bus 251 (Bobigny - Pablo Picasso) for 10 min (7 stops).

At Bobigny - Pablo Picasso, walk about 5 min to the Métro 5. Take the Métro 5 toward Place d'Italie, get off at République (21 min, 12 stops), then switch to the Métro 9 toward Pont de Sèvres and get off at Grands Boulevards (4 min, 3 stops). From there, it’s a 2-minute walk.

Cost: 4.30 € You can find ticket info here: https://www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/titres-et-tarifs

Have a great visit! 😉
