Hotel recommendations in Agadir

Hi fellow travelers, I’m looking for a nice hotel in Agadir, in a lively neighborhood, with a room that has a private bathroom, toilet, and AC (not essential). We’ll be staying for 2 or 3 nights before heading south. We land in the late afternoon—definitely not the best time to go hunting for a place to stay, especially since it’s our first trip to Morocco. Thanks for your tips!

Here’s a list of rentals that combine great comfort, a central location, and seaside access.

If you're looking for livelier neighborhoods (souk, restaurants, bars, cafés), you should check out this link.

Book in advance if possible, especially for well-rated seaside hotels, since Agadir is a popular destination year-round.

Recently, I’ve stayed several times at the Sindibad, right in the heart of Agadir, in the Talborjt district. It’s a bit of an aging hotel but still very decent. The staff is really friendly, and so is the breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby, a guarded parking lot, and the beach is within walking distance. PS: It’s best to ask for a room that doesn’t face the square—it’ll be quieter that way.

Great, thanks. Is it necessary to book? If so, is there a contact?

On their website, you can find their phone number. Handy for asking for a room at the back. Otherwise, there’s Booking.com, of course. Or you could just show up without a reservation, but that depends on the season—whether it’s school holidays or not...
