Where to stay in Barcelona?

Hi there, We’d like to spend a few days in Barcelona... the issue is accommodation, and we don’t know anything about it. My brother’s driving to a campsite up north, and his brother-in-law left at 5 AM when there are only two of us... I just got back from my 7th trip to the US, where I know all my spots, so I’m a bit lost here.

Hi there,

First, a heads-up about Barcelona—you’ll need a sticker to enter the city by car. So, depending on how you’re getting around, plan ahead. It’s all explained on this page.

For accommodation, it depends on your budget. I’d recommend the Gothic Quarter—it’s right in the center, but prices are higher. Otherwise, check out Poble Sec or near Sants Station. We also like staying in Barceloneta. Avoid the Raval neighborhood due to safety concerns, and steer clear of the Ramblas area—it’s way too noisy. Here’s a list of great places to stay on this link. Have a great trip!

Hi there, There are plenty of options for accommodation in Barcelona, depending on your preferences and budget. In my opinion, Gràcia is perfect—it’s got a really local and friendly vibe, and you won’t break the bank! You’re guaranteed an authentic atmosphere...
