Étant étudiant en École de de Commerce à Paris, je pars pour Dakar cet été dans le cadre d'un stage de 3 mois, de Juin à Aout.
Je suis très enthousiaste à l'idée de profiter de l'enrichissement culturel de 3 mois passés dans cette ville en mouvement, dans ce magnifique pays.
De plus j'ai trouvé un stage très intéressant au sein d'une agence de communication à Dakar Yoff.
Je suis en pleine recherche de logement pour ces trois mois et je souhaiterais donc avoir quelques informations :
Quels sont les bons quartiers ou résider (quartiers résidentiels corrects) Quels sont les prix des loyers pour un appartement individuel ou une grande collocation Y'aurait-il des personnes/étudiants, intéressés pour une collocation durant cette période

moi aussi je pars à dakar pour boulot. je connais pas la ville, mais j'ai de bons echos, alors ce sera la decouverte pour moi aussi. seulemnt j'y serais la bas en août prochain, peut etre un peu avant le 1er aout. le probleme du logement ca se pose pas pour moi, heureusement ma boite assure sur ce coté là. on m'a dit que c'est au quartier le plateau, en pein centre de Dakar.
peut etre qu'on puisse bien se voir labas, fais signe. on pourrait en discuter
Je suis aussi étudiante à paris (M1 psycho) et je serais en stage à dakar les mois d'aout et septembre; je suis donc aussi en pleine recherche de logement!
Pour les quartiers, je te conseille de te loger proche de ton lieu de travail, le transport à dakar étant plutôt difficile, avec de perpétuels embouteillages. Donc si tu peux trouver un truc dans le quartier de yoff, ce sera mieux pour toi je pense. Sachant qu'en plus, l'aéroport est aussi dans ce coin là, donc c'est plutôt pas mal pour ton arrivée. Par contre, je t'avoues que je ne sais pas du tout comment est le quartier, si c'est résidentiel o pas; sur les côtes à cet endroit il y a pas mal d'hôtels de luxe.
Pour ma part je cherche un logement plutôt dans le quartier de fann où je serais en stage, c'est un peu plus bas dans la péninsule, ce n'est pas très loin de Yoff.
Si jamais tu trouve une collocation sympa, et que les collocs changent régulièrement, tiens moi au courant, je suis vivement intéressée pour intégrer l'appart à partir de fin-juillet début aout! Je suis en contact avec une autre étudiante parisienne qui recherche un logement de début aout à mi septembre.
Les quartiers que l'on m'a conseillé pour le logement sont Fann, Point E, le sacré coeur. C'est bien, vivant, sympa... mais un peu cher aussi apparamment, surtout pour les français.... je ne peux pas trop te donner de fourchettes de prix pour les locations d'appartement, je ne me suis pas trop penchée sur la question, ça me semblait compliqué pour gérer toutes les démarches de location à distance. Et puis, on peut vite être surpris du résultat en arrivant sur place.... L'idéal est de pouvoir trouver un logement directement sur place, pour être sûr de ce que tu loues.

For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland?
