Je pense que c'est une mauvaise idée, et qu'il n'y a pas d'emploi, d'ailleurs en Bretagne la restauration est souvent peu dynamique, les restaurateurs préfèrent fermer - d"ailleurs même en été ils s'accordent des congés.

Dire que "la restauration est souvent peu dynamique en Bretagne", c'est faire abstraction des saisons et de la diversité des activités commerciales.
Et si des restaurateurs "s'accordent des congés" en été (Brest par exemple), c'est certainement qu'ils travaillent le reste de l'année, non ?
Et là où il y a des touristes, les restaurateurs recrutent pour l'été : ça concerne quasiment la totalité de la côte (plus de 1770 km), mais pas seulement.
Ceci étant dit, ces emplois sont généralement réservés aux locaux (boulots d'été notamment).
A voir peut-être du côté de Rennes, ville étudiante qui bouge surtout l'hiver. Ou auprès des clubs hôteliers (clubs et villages de vacances, ucpa, etc).

Oui Brest est une ville qui bouge pas mal aussi (moins que Rennes cependant).
J'y ai habité pendant 25 ans, j'ai adoré !
C'est une ville qui ne semble pas top, quand on y passe. Mais c'est une ville qui a une âme vraiment forte ; on y est sensible ou pas.
C'est une ville d'ambiance populaire. Ville de mer, et de bars.
En terme de restauration, il y a une concentration d'établissements sur le port de commerce (port de comm') et la nouvelle marina. "Bas d' Siam" aussi (Bas de la rue de Siam).
pas mal de pubs font des repas le midi également ; très appréciés des salariés de la ville.
mais c'est l'expérience et le constat que je fais...
Non ce n'est ni une expérience ni un constat. C'est une conclusion très subjective d'un tout petit bout d'expérience que tu peut-être eu avec quelques restaurateurs.

Vas-y peut-être passer quelques jours pour "tâter le terrain", prendre la T° ambiante, prendre quelques contacts.
A propos de T° : tout le monde ne se fait pas au climat humide brestois. Vent et pluie au programme, régulièrement. Mais de belles arrières saisons aussi ! les mois de septembre sont particulièrement agréables.
Quelques plus à prendre en compte :
- les loyers pas chers pour une ville de cette taille (Rennes est bien plus chère).
- des assos nombreuses, dans tous les domaines.
- pollution très basse.
- des ballades à n'en plus finir dans les environs - côte superbe.

D'ailleurs, tous les salariés bretons sont obligés de manger au travail ou de rentrer chez eux le midi. Pas un resto en Bretagne !
Et puis, les étudiants dans les villes ! grand malheur ! ils sont bien obligés de rester enfermés dans leurs chambres d'étudiants : pas un resto en vue le soir !
Le resto du dimanche en famille... bah ! un pique nique ! quand il fait beau. Et c'est bien connu, en Bretagne il pleut tout le temps....

Bien sûr il y a des restaurants, mais pour venir y travailler en hiver, je suis très sceptique. Et à Brest encore plus. Disons que je n'y crois pas du tout.

Je sais parce que je vois sous mes yeux ; le secteur est peu dynamique et pas porteur, et en hiver pour manger il faut bien viser, parce qu'à 20h30 on se fait jeter.
L'idée de venir faire la saison d'hiver en Bretagne, je la qualifie de baroque.
Oui, mais entre 19h15 et 20h30, ni le dimanche ni le lundi... A part ça on trouve... 🙂
Sérieusement, c'est assez dur.
Cet échange n'est pas stérile ; s'il faut essayer, alors plutôt des endroits comme Vannes, Auray, Rennes, St Malo. Brest, très dur, petites villes côtières impossible.
