J'ai craqué pour cette ville qui est juste incroyable et …bon.oui, pour une femme.;)
Malheureusement je ne suis pas le dernier gagnant d'EuroMillions, donc
j'y travaillerais également...J'ai lu a peu pres toutes les discussions sur ce forum concernant Istanbul, c'est vraiment coolet ca aide.
Mon secteur d'activité professionnelle est la pub, le design, je suis directeur artistique actuellement en agence à Paris, également en freelance, je parles français, anglais, espagnol mais pas le turque:(
Je comptes prendre des cours d'ici 1 mois…Je suis tres tres motivé...
Donc si quelqu'un à la moindre petite info sur la vie à Istanbul pour les français, comment obtenir un visa, un boulot sur place ou dans une compagnie internationale avant le départ, les sites de recherches d'emplois (dans mon secteur si possible), si la pub est un secteur dynamique et en croissance à Istanbul…
Je recherche plein d'infos sur absolument tout en fait/:)

J'en suis comme toi au début de ma recherche d'infos.
Le site du consulat de France à Istanbul est pas mal pour tout ce qui est conditions de travail et de séjour en gros avec une carte d'identité et un passeport valide, on peut rester en Turquie pendant trois mois "en touriste" (donc en principe pas le droit au travail...) mais cela permet de se faire une idée pus concrète...

excellente idée de s'installer à istanbul - pas de conseils particuliers pour la pub (ce n'est pas mon creneau) mais pour le démarche 2 tuyaux de valeur produits par les expatriés (notamment français en Turquie) =
le site mymerhaba.com qui fournit une peletée de tuyaux vécus
et le manuel Les Clés d'istanbul mise à jour quasiment tous les ans par des expatriés francais - Où le trouver ?sur place ! = donc si vous connaissez deja qlq demandez lui de l'acheter à la librairie du consulat d efrance (env. 10 euros) - C'est un gros bouquin spiralé plein de tuyaux pour ceux qui veulent s'installer à istanbul.

Ce reve ca fait 4 ans que je patiente pour le réaliser et je t'assure que je ne le perd pas de vue mais comme tout le monde j'ai besoin d'un coup de main.Tu chercherais pas une assistante??? Je suis jeune et dynamique pret a tout pour réaliser mon reve (dans la limite du raisonnable) lol 😛 Je connais la culture turc je métrise plutot bien la langue ayant grandi avec une famille turc c'est plus facile pour moi.Tu compte partir quand? C'est prévu ou ce n'est qu'un projet pour le moment?
pour travailler à istanbul, cé assez facile si tu as un bon diplome et en parlant au moins une langue etrangere en plus du turque.
Tres souvent on te demandera de connaitre l'anglais. Une grande majorité d'offre d'emploi à istanbul est en anglais.
Par ailleurs, la vie est assez chere à istanbul comparé à un salaire de debutant.

Je n'ai rien a ajouter a ce que dis Nemo - L'anglais est tres répandu mais parlé d'une façon empirique donc en le maitrisant bien c'est un plus - Les biculturel(les) sont recherché(e)s aussi ayant une meilleure approche des contacts et plus réactifs - A propos d epub, penses au gigantesque projet Istanbul capital européenne de la culture en 2010 - a partir de 2008, des gds projets de comm' sont en chantier - regade les sites comme IBB, etc...
Une précision dans ta réponse = pour moi Istanbul n'est pas un projet : je fais la navette régulière entre le Bosphore et la Tour Eiffel.

je pense qu'elle devrait se construire un projet professionnel et apres voir si cela peut marcher à istanbul ou pas.
La turquie n'est pas la france car c'est un pays tres liberal. Il n y a pas de protection sociale, pas d'aide au logement etc.... C'est uniquement avec ton salaire que tu dois t'en sortir (loyer exorbitant).

Un peu dans ta situation sauf que j'ai la double nationalité (mais ne parle pas turc, disons que je commence à me débrouiller mais pas assez pour bosser dans la communication)
Je suis arrivée il y a cinq mois. Pour le moment impossible de bosser dans une agence événementielle.
La route sera longue pour toi aussi ! Mais je pense que le pb de la langue n'est pas insurmontable... Une fois que tu te débrouilleras il sera temps d'examiner le reste (histoire des visas etc). J'imagine que si tu vas sur le site du consultat tu trouveras toutes les infos à ce sujet... Je pense que tu as déjà été faire un tour.
Pour le côté encourageant, les turcs font un bon accueil aux étrangers. Je parle d'un point de vue professionnel. (quoique c'est vrai aussi dans la vie de tous les jours). Quand tu es étranger, ils pensent tout de suite que tu vas assurer et ont une bonne image de toi. Dommage pour les turcs d'ailleurs qui cherchent aussi à se faire embaucher dans leur propre pays...

J'ai également un projet de m'installer en Istanbul, peut être l'année prochaine. Effectivement le plus important c'est de bien se renseigner, jvais donc suivre les bon ptits tuyaux que vous nous donnez.

Je suis également ultra motivée pour partir à Istanbul dès septembre autant pour des raisons professionnelles que personnelles (je fais également partie de la communauté "I love les turcs") 😉.
J'attendais la fin de mes études dans la publicité pour pouvoir concrétiser mon rêve : celui de partir à l'étranger. Mon "damoiseau" étant à Istanbul, je me sens d'autant plus motivée pour partir y vivre !
J'ai vu que ça parlait "recherche d'emploi dans la publicité sur le forum". J'aurais sincèrement voulu avoir des témoignages de personnes étant partis là bas et ayant trouvé un job dans ce secteur d'activités. C'est vrai que l'idée de partir est très excitante mais à la fois très effrayante. Débarquer dans un pays dont on ne connait pas la langue (je baragouine deux trois mois mais ca se limite à "merhaba tatlim" :)) n'est pas évidente. Je souhaite sincèrement me baser sur l'expérience de chacun pour pouvoir faire mon choix. Je ne peux pas me permettre de partir à l'aveuglette même si j'en ai très envie. Si je pouvais trouver un travail dans une agence de pub ce serait formidable ! Mais...Il est important pour moi de recueillir vos avis, savoir comment sont les agences de pub là bas, comment vous vous sentez depuis que vous y êtes installés? Si cela a été dur de trouver du travail ?

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
