nous partons en circuit organisé pour 15 jours en Mongolie au mois d'août. Pour un trekking dans le Khangai.
Apparemment il n'y a pas de vaccins obligatoire, mais les recommandés sont: polio, diphterie, le typhoïde, tétanos, hépatite A et B.
J'ai polio, diphtérie, typhoïde et hépatite B. Mais pas tétanos et hépatite A.
Qui peut me conseiller s'il faut vraiment les faire. Quels sont les risques? Et les effets secondaires possibles?
Ou c'est trop tard pour un départ le 31/07?

bon je suis pas médecin hein, mais si j'étais toi je recheckerai un peu mes vaccins parce que normalement (en France ?) t'es vacciné pour DT Polio quand t'es petit(e), et le "T" ben c'est tétanos... si tu l'as pas, faut le faire !!
Et pour l'hépatite A me semble-t-il c'est une contamination surtout par les aliments et l'eau "souillés", c'est recommandé pour les voyageurs... si C pas pour la Mongolie, ce sera pour le prochain voyage :-)
mais là avec un départ si proche ça me semble chaud chaud chaud......

Je n'ai pas fait de trekking, seulement un circuit en hotel roulant c'est à dire un peu plus protéger que la vie des camps de plein air et camp de gers bien que nous stationnions quelques fois dans les camps de gers et donc partagions les W.C. et douches et les restos
Le vaccin Tétanos me paraït indispensable vu l'état du terrain largement souillé de crottin mais il suffit de revoir la date de validité de ton dernier DTP ( diphtérie tétanos polio) ; c'est valable 10 ans.
Moi j'ai fait aussi "Thyphoïde" sur les recommandations de mon voyagiste et le medecin du voyage de l'institut A. Fournier à, Paris m'a conseillé également contre la méningite . Attention les marmottes sont un vecteur du typhus, ne pas les caresser. Les chiens sont très amicaux mais pas agressifs pour ce que j'ai vu, ça n'est pas une sécurité pour autant. Le médecin du voyage m'avait aussi mis en garde contre les chauves souris qui peuvent être porteuse de la rage. Comme je voyageais en groupe il ne m'a pas prescrit le vaccin contre la rage.
Je savais que je ne ferai pas de cheval donc il ne m'a pas prescrit le vaccin contre l'encéphalite.
Je suis porteuse d'anti corps contre les hépatites A et B; si tu as fait une jaunisse enfant tu as probablement des anti-corps hépatite A
sur un groupe de 15, 3 personnes ont eu leur vacances gâchées quelques jours par des maux d'estomac et instestinaux.
Un vrai régal pour les yeux !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! avec quelques dosettes de collyre, les vents le soleil............;
Ne pas oublier la pince à tiques.

J'ai pris le srecommandations un peu trop a la legere alors...
pour ce qui est de la tetanos j'ai fait un rappel DTP et avais pense que le T etait pour typhoide car pour la tetanos jai fait un test anti-corps seulement pour constater que je navais jsutement plus danticorps. Mon medecin mavait explique quon ne le faisait plus ce vaccin a cause deffets secondaires trop importants. J evais en reparler avec lui.
Pince a tiques... Il y a alors bc de tiques la-bas?
Pour la jaunisse, je ne sais pas trop, vais me renseigner pour ca encore.

C'est trop bête d'attraper le tétanos et... Zut... Il est souvent mortel et

Je ne peux que recommander ce beau pays, allez-y - en vous déplaçant doucement, la nature est tellement intacte et belle!!!
tu sembles dire que tu es un vielle itinérant de mongolie ! Aussi, j'aurai quelques questions à poser. J'aimerais partir au moins deux moi en Mongolie ! Peut être la prmeière etape d'un plus long voyage voir tour du monde. Je compte aller là bas par le transsibérien express, a moins que je trouve des trains moins cher au depart de moscou, mais il semblerait que ce soit le seul qui aille jusqu'a la frontière Mongol ? Pour les vaccins, j'en ai déjà pas mal car je suis parti plusieurs foi en Afrique. Mais je vais aller à Pasteur pour avoir de plsu ample information. Maintenant, je compte faire un raid assez sauvage, un peu comme une odyssé si j'y arrive. Eviter au max les grandes villes, et favoriser les transports naturels. Le rêve serait de traverse la Mongolie du nord au sud à cheval, avec guide et si je me sens chaud au bout d'un certain temps peut etre sans, faut voir car cela semble deconseillé ! Donc beaucoup de contact avec la nature et surtout les animaiux aussi la rage me semble indispensable surtout si je continu vers le sud, la chine, l'inddonésie et l'inde par la suite ? De pus, peut etre qu'un chien m'accompagnera a travers les steppes Mongol donc la rage semble indispensable aussi pour lui ? Qu'en penses tu ? Est ce qu'il y a de gros risque la bas ? en plus, j'essaye de comprendre comment ca fonctionne, le vaccin protege mais si tu es expose faut quand meme fair eun rappel ? Donc en resume est ce que mon projet est réalisable en ces termes, sur place, est il facile de trouver des guides ? N'y a t il pas de probleme pour passer la frontière avec un animal ?

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

We, as parents, have been through it in Egypt with pretty bad cases, but we’d really like to avoid that for our daughter. The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
Preventive vaccination (of the animals) is being considered.

Once symptoms appear—sometimes weeks or even months later—death is inevitable.
It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
