Je suis Aurélia de Bayonne. Je pars le 31 janvier 2012 à Perth toute seule comme une grande. Je prend le WHV et je souhaiterai rester 2 ans si je me débrouille bien. Si d'autres personnes veulent se joindre à moi..... no problème.
Tout est prêt mis à part ça la valise que doit je prendre. Un sac à dos ou une valise et que mettre dedans.
Mon plannning serait de rester quelques temps à Perth histoire de bosser de me familiariser à la vie australienne, faire un mois de helpX (comme ça je pourrai me familiariser à leur langue me faire l'oreille et écouter leurs conseils), m'acheter un van comme ça le logement ne sera pas un problème.... et l'aventure .... Je vais aussi bien rester des fois dans des grandes villes que dans les campagnes...
Et donc LA VALISE ou le SAC A DOS et mettre quoi. Sachant que je prend l'ordi et appareil numérique. Je pense que pour certains ma question est stupide mais bon... Après je sais l'Australie est un pays civilisé et il y a plein de choses que je peux acheter sur place. Mais bon si des personnes peuvent m'aider 🙂 ; car je ne sais vraiment pas.😊

On trouve de tout en Australie ( j'y suis alle 3 fois) mais a qualite egale les prix sont plus chers qu'autre pour 3 raisons:
- marche interieur trop petit donc pas mal de choses importees donc plus cher
- manque flagrant de concurrence
- distance enorme entre lieux de production et lieux de consommation d'ou des prix plus eleves
De bonnes chaussures genre randonnee basse, ca peut etre reellement utile si tu vas dans des fermes et une bonne paire de gants ( 2 seraient encore mieux). Une radio FM ca peut etre pas mal pour ecouter la radio la-bas dans la rue et habituee ton oreille a la prononciation locale. Une veritable paire de lunettes de soleil peut etre une bonne idee car on sous-estime largement la puissance du soleil la-bas.
On trouve facilement des fringues d'occase la bas, a l'armee du Salut et chez Good Sammy www.goodsamaritan.com.au
notamment des fringues de travail avec une tres bonne protection solaire ce qui est tres interressant.
Des ton arrivee, essaie de trouver un lit a Northbridge car c'est la que se trouve la bibliotheque de l'Etat de WA qui sert officieusement d'ANPE pour tous les WHV (presse locale et nationale pour les annonces, wifi et imprimantes, cabines telephoniques, toilettes, cafeteria, etc) Tu risques de passer pas mal de temps la bas a ton arrivee et certainement de rencontrer des personnes dans le meme cas que toi avec la possibilite de partager un appart qui te coutera moins cher qu'une piaule. De preference essaie de rester le plus pres possible pour la 1ere semaine.
Les bus et trains de banlieue sont OK en journee mais le soir et les w-e, bonjour l'attente et ce n'est pas vraiment donne.
J'etais venu avec mon velo, il y a 2 ans et apres avoir passe un mois et demi a Perth, je me suis rendu compte que j'avais economise un paquet de fric.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
