Nous aimerions avoir des trucs quant à l'hébergement "pas cher", aux choses à ne pas manquer, etc. Quels sont vos coups de coeur? Quelles villes devons-nous mettre sur notre itinéraire?
salut les filles pour l'hébergement je ne peux vous aider mais pour mon coup de coeur je vous dirais MARBELLA PORTO BANUS c'est tres jetset il y a boutique tres tres branché resto super discotheque et tres tres beau port de mer avec d'énorme yatch de multi millionaire c'est a voir ...............😎
L'Espagne est un pays très vaste avec énormément de sites à voir mais tout dépend bien sûr de votre moyen de locomotion et de vos centres d'intérêts.
Personnellement j'ai fait il y a quelques années avec une amie un circuit de deux semaines en Espagne en voiture et cela c'est très bien passé.
En général l'Andalousie est la région la plus visitée et celle qui représente le plus l'image de l'Espagne à l'étranger : les maisons blanchis à la chaux, les petites ruelles, les arènes, ...
Les incontournables (selon mon humble avis 🙂 : Sevilla et la Giralda, Cordoba avec la grande mezquita, Granada et son Alhambra époustouflant. Dommage que vous y alliez au mois de juin, le mois de mai est celui des "ferias", le grandes fêtes qui animent la ville.
Autres coins intéressants que j'ai visité: Valencia et Barcelona. Madrid aussi bien sûr mais je ne pourrais pas vous informer la dessus : Madrid, Toledo et Salamanca feront l'objet d'un prochain voyage en Espagne 😉
En ce qui concerne les hébergements : on peut loger à petits prix dans des hostales, sorte de petites pensions familiales que l'on trouve pratiquement dans toutes les villes. Le guide du routard à la main, nous avons cherché nos hébergements sur place et nous en avons gardé que de bons souvenirs.
J'espère que ce petit aperçu aura attisé votre envie d'aller visiter l'Espagne et je vous souhaite d'ores et déjà un bon voyage

60 km au dessus de barcelone, à 1h30 en voiture de la frontière française et on est dans un autre monde: l'avenue principale est bordée de palmier, elle débouche sur la playa!!!
sans mentir y doit y avoir 30 boites dans la rue je vous conseil le TROPICS ambiance assurée..
Pour le logement, nous on était 9 alors on a louer une villa(avec piscine) et en juin c vraiment le bon plan, parce que en juillet le prix de location à la semaine est multiplié par 4 : on en a u pour 75 euros chacun mais le seul pb c qu'il faut une voiture car les quartiers sont très en hauteur
On avait trouvé la villa sur un site internet si vous le voulez je le rechercherai mais je pense que même pour 4 ça doit valoir le coup sinon il y a les tradionnelles auberge de jeunesse, Barcelone en est truffé !

je vous conseillerai comme Ceinwyn, l'andalousie et plus spécialement Grenade et Seville ... Cordoue étant sympa, Ronda anecdotique et très touristique (cher ...) ...
après deux voyages en Andalousie (dont le dernier s'est achevé il y a 3 jours), j'en suis toujours émerveillé ...
pour l'hebergement, a Grenade, près de la cathedrale, dans le centre, tu trouves facilement des petits hotels a 15 euros la simple et entre 25-30 Euros la double (on a touvé 24 Euros la Double 🙂) ..
Pour seville, nous sommes allés dans le quartier de la place Alfalfa en haut de Santa Cruz ... Gros avantage : plein centre ...
Des hotels sympas à 20 Euros la simple, 30 Euros la double ...
Dans tous les hotels ou nous sommes allés, Douche et WC sur palier, proprio super sympas et arrangeants et propreté irréprochable et même impressionnante ...
en juin, prenez le temps de vivre "à l'andalouse" : activités le matin, sieste puis re-activité et soirée ...
Sur la Costa del Sol, un endroit ou nous sommes restes sàppelle Fuengirola. C'est une petite ville pas trop chere et tres bien reliee a Malaga par le train, et aux autre villes de l'Andalousie par le bus. Si vous voulez plus branche alors il y a Marbella et Benalmadena. Marbella est plus loin et est reliee pas bus.
Si c'est votre premier voyage il serait interessant de voir Madrid et Barcelone.
A Madrid: Le musee de Prado avec les oeuvres de Velasquez, Goya, Le palais royal, le Parc Retiro, la Puerta del Sol et la place Royale. Je crois de la Puerta del Sol vers la Place Royale il y a un endroit ou on mange le fameux jambon serrano et ils font des sandwich ou des croissants delicieux a emporter pas trop cher. Notre hotel etait Mayorazgo.
Les villes de Toledo et Segovia sont tres interessantes a visiter. Nous ne sommes pas restes la pour la nuit, mais elles se font bien en une journee. Il y a le bus qui part de Madrid vers Segovia, et pour aller a Toledo il y a le train et l'autobus en fin de parcours. A ne pas manquer a Toledo la peinture de El Greco, la Cathedrale et le tour de petit train/bus pour voir la vue imprenable de la ville fortifiee.
A Barcelone: le quartier gothique avec sa Cathedrale, l'architecture de Gaudi avec la Sagrada Familia, la Pedrera. Si vous avez le budget, un bon restaurant a Barcelone est Les Sept Portes, pas loin du port olimpique. Ca se fait bien a plusieurs si vous prenez une paella pour 2 ou 3 et la partagez a 4, elles sont grosses et pour gouter les desserts prenez assortiment de desserts miniatures. C'est un restaurant ou il y a peu de touristes et est frequente par la bonne societe de Barcelonne depuis plus de 100 ans. Notre hotel etait le Rialto.
A Seville ne manquez pas un bon spectacle de Flamenco. Nous sommes alles a Los Gallos. La Cathedrale et le Alcazar sont a visiter egalement.
A Grenade il faut absolument aller voir la Alhambra. Il faudrait acheter vos billets en ligne le plus tot possible directement sur le site de la Alhambra. Beaucoup de personnes sont decues en arrivant devant la porte et en constatant qu'il fallait reserver les billets a l'avance. Souvent il n'y a plus de billets pour les dates que vous voulez. Nous sommes restes a l'hotel Reina Christina qui est un tres bel hotel et la maison ou Garcia Lorca a ete arrete il est bien situe et a beaucoup de caractere.
A Cordoba, il faut voir la Mezquita et il y a aussi un Alcazar qui est petit, mais tres joli avec ses jardins. Notre hotel etait tres beau. Cherchez les prix sur les web, d'un site a l'autre vous trouverez des aubaines.
Dans les petits villages blancs Andaloux j'ai bien aime Ronda.
Nous sommes aussi passes par Carmona, Ecija, Jerez et Arcos de la Frontera.
Malaga est interessante a visiter aussi avec Alcazaba sa forteresse et sa Cathedrale.
Si vous voulez aller au Gibraltar il y a un bus qui fait toute la Costa del Sol et qui arrive a la Linea, ville voisine du Gibraltar. Il faut traverser la piste de l'aeroport de Gibraltar comme c'est tout petit. Il y a des singes qui vivent la sur le rocher et il y a la grotte St-Michel a voir, mais il est cher de rester la pour la nuit ou de manger la comme c'est l'Angleterre. Vous pouvez traverser vers le Maroc.
Ensuite si vous avez le temps, il y a des traversiers de Barcelone pour aller aux iles Baleares. Mallorca est belle a visiter pour l'architecture et les plages et aussi ses grotes. Ibiza a les boites probablement les plus branchees de toute l'Europe.
Je suis allé en Espagne l'année derniere et j'ai visité Barcelone, Madrid et Valence, ma préférée étant valence mais si vous êtes en Espagne le 24 juin, arrangez vu pour être à Barcelone, c'est vraiment un sale party! La San Juan est la même chose que La st-Jean mais c'Est le party toute la nuit avec des feux d'artifice et des pétards sur le bord de la plage! spectacle ahurissant!! sinon, vous avez le sud de l'espagne ou les paysages sont fascinants! A Valence, j'ai trouvé une magnifique petite auberge de jeunesse, ca ressemble vraiment à l'auberge espagnole! Pour Madrid, c'est une ville accablante de chaleur et d'humidité! mais il y a des millions et des millions de bars la nuit, c'est vraiment hot de se promener de bars en bars en ayant de moins en moins d'habilité a marcher😛!
C'est rempli de nationalités différentes, vous allez voir, c'est l, un des plus grands trips que vous allez faire!

Tout d'abord une partie du séjour est quasi obligatoire à Barcelone, en plus la chaleur de Juin rendra les espagnols encore plus torrides 😉
Et niveau culturel, et surtout pour en prendre plein la vue, j'ai un énorme coup de coeur pour le sud, toute l'Andalousie, notament Séville et Cordoue, mais aussi les petites villes (comme Elxe, immanquable !) sur la cote...
En trois semaines vous allez en prendre plein la vue.
Par contre pour les logements moi c'est avec ma tente que je partirai pour la mobilité mais aussi pour le prix !
Je vous conseillerais un petit camping super sympa : Los Pinos à Dénia, magnifique !

je suis d'accord avec les autres réponses... l'andalousie est à ne pas manquer .. question budget, l'entrée aux incontournables (alhambra...) est assez importante( 10 euros à mes souvenirs).
ensuite, je dirais aussi barcelone, que je n'ai pas vu mais c'est pour bientôt.
pour Madrid, je n'ai pas aimé, c'est une ville à mon goût assez quelconque... par contre les musées sont très biens... coup de coeur pour le musée Reina Sofia avec des peintures plutôt XXeme.
ensuite, je n'ai visité que Toledo, Segovi et Salamanca... et je conseille Toledo et Salamanca... ca vaut le coup d'oeil.
ensuite, je n'y suis pas allée mais il me semble que la Galice et le pays basque valent le coup d'oeil, c'est peut etre une piste à exploiter...
pour les conseils question budget, vous devriez vous renseigner sur la carte internationnale des étudiants qui donnent des réductions de trains et de bus au moins de 26 ans (il me semble).

We’re planning a short trip at the end of July to explore the legendary mountains and valleys of the Bernese Oberland: round trip from Nancy (Swiss highway vignette planned), 2 nights in a room with a small kitchen in Adelboden, then 2 nights in a hotel at the Gletscherblick in Grindelwald, both with half-board included.
Could you share some tips on the best road routes to take, as well as some walking hikes (we’re not as fit as we used to be, so nothing longer than 2-3 hours)? Maybe also 1 or 2 cable car rides—I was thinking of Oeschinensee Lake above Kandersteg and the First gondola above Grindelwald for better panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau... all while keeping it doable with our schedule. We’ve ruled out the "premium" trip up to the Jungfraujoch for this time.
I’m also guessing that paying to access Wengen or Mürren only makes sense if we’re staying there for a few days, right?
- Is the road through the narrow valley of the White Lütschine toward Lauterbrunnen and beyond still worth it in terms of views and scenery?

I’ve found some great deals on flights to two destinations: Menorca in the Balearic Islands and Alghero in Sardinia.
The flights would take us from Bordeaux to Menorca on the evening of 9/07 and return to Bordeaux in the evening on 13/07.
Or to Alghero very early on 10/07 (departure at 6 AM) and return in the mid-afternoon on 13/07.
We love beautiful landscapes, the sea, snorkeling, walks (hiking), and the charm of villages.
We want to spend some quality time as a couple without our kids and mix discovery with relaxation.
I can’t make up my mind. The transport costs are roughly the same when you factor in parking for Sardinia since the early departure means no public transport from home.
We’ve never been to Menorca, Sardinia, or Italy at all. I’ve been to Majorca, though.
Menorca would be 4 nights and 4 days, while Alghero would be 3 nights and 2.5 days.
Also, what itinerary would you recommend for Alghero and Menorca?

I visited the Faroe Islands in late March 2026 for about ten days. I was invited by a friend who lives near Tórshavn, so I don’t have any info on tourist accommodations or car rentals. Still, I’d like to share a few thoughts about my trip:
- Before leaving, I consulted travel guides and blogs. I was surprised by how repetitive and unoriginal the featured sites were. This leads hurried travelers to follow the same overcrowded routes, which can annoy locals. I found that all Faroese villages were interesting—they reflect the country’s identity, even without the iconic grass-roofed houses. Those are indeed harmonious and beautiful, but they feel like an exotic cliché. For activities, I loved the lively ports that keep the country running.
- I was annoyed by the paid trails in tourist spots. Locals explained that these paths cross private land, and owners are responsible for maintenance and safety. There are plenty of free trails, too—signs at the start detail their features. While not alarmist, the extreme and unpredictable weather is a key factor to consider before setting out.
- The wind’s strength really impressed me. The architecture, with doors and windows opening outward to prevent gusts from blowing roofs off, speaks to the harsh climate. Some days, relentless rain and squalls made going outside unappealing. I realized that in this country, it’s best to plan for flexible indoor days.
- Distances are relatively short. I was happy to be based near Tórshavn because it was easy to explore one or more places in a day. The roads are in great condition. In late March, diesel was 2 €. Tunnel tolls can add up (~26 € per crossing), making a fixed base less practical than I’d thought.
- Everyone agrees: the landscapes are breathtaking. Nature feels untamed here—except for the short grass, thanks to all the woolly sheep.
- The flight from Paris to the Faroe Islands (and back) was long in March—11 hours with three legs: Paris-Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Vágar. In bad weather, Vágar Airport can close, causing delays. During tourist season, Atlantic Airways offers a direct Paris-Faroe Islands flight, which is more comfortable and cheaper.
- I found a book recommendation in a guide that fascinated me after my trip: *Les collectionneurs d'images* by Joanes Nielsen. Through its sometimes caricatured characters, it offers a glimpse into Faroese mentalities from the 1950s to 1970s—attitudes that likely persist today.
In conclusion, I’ve traveled a lot and I’m tired of destinations that all start to look the same. The Faroe Islands were a delight—a country stunning in its landscape, climate, and culture, where tourism has barely altered its authenticity.

We’re heading to the Lofoten Islands first, then Senja, near Tromsø, and finally the North Cape.
We’ll likely start from northern Finland (flight tickets and car rentals are more affordable there).

We’re heading to Bavaria from May 13 to 23, with a side trip to Austria.
Here’s our itinerary:
Day 1: Brussels-Munich
Day 2: Munich
Day 3: Munich and departure for Salzburg
We’ll be staying three nights in Salzburg.
Then we’ll head to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where we’ll stay for five nights.
Visiting Munich and Salzburg isn’t too tricky.
Once in Garmisch, we’re planning a day in Innsbruck, a day for Neuschwanstein Castle, and the rest is still up in the air.
What’s really got me stumped is that we’d love to see Königssee Lake—everyone says it’s a must-see.
We’d also like to visit the Eagle’s Nest (Kehlsteinhaus), where the landscapes are supposedly stunning.
This would either be a round trip while we’re in Salzburg or on the way between Salzburg and Garmisch, but I’m guessing it’s impossible to do the drive from Salzburg to Garmisch, the Eagle’s Nest, *and* Königssee Lake all in one day.
Plus, the Alpine route between Salzburg and Garmisch seems prettier than the highway.
But honestly, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with the planning.
We should’ve added a stop between Salzburg and Garmisch, but the hotels are already booked.

We’re planning a trip to Finland and Norway this summer, starting in Oulu to explore Lapland, heading up to the North Cape, and then making our way down to Bergen.
This route means renting a car in Finland and dropping it off in Norway. My initial searches are showing rental rates that are... astronomical—about three times the price compared to returning it at the starting point.
I’m guessing I’m not the only one wanting to visit both countries. Are there any great tips to drastically reduce the cost of renting a car?

I’m sharing my draft itinerary with you because I just booked our flight tickets, and I feel like it’s quite late in the season. So, I’d like to be sure about my stops before reserving the hotels. I’ll be traveling alone with my two adult children. We want to prioritize outdoor walks, avoid too many indoor visits (both for budget and preference), and not spend too much time on the road.
D1: Arrival at 9 AM in Malaga, day in Malaga and overnight stay
D2: Head straight to Nerja (1-hour drive) and spend the night there
D3: Head straight to Granada (1.5-hour drive), spend the day and night there
D4: Granada. Visit the Alhambra (Nasrid Palaces tour at 5 PM) and spend the night
D5: Head to Ronda (2.5-hour drive) and spend the night
D6: White Villages and overnight in Ronda
D7: Head straight to the Costa del Sol (e.g., Estepona), spend the day and night there
D8: Return to Malaga to catch our flight
There you go! This itinerary takes into account that we’d like to do a circuit starting from Seville in a few years. That said, it’d be a shame to miss something doable from Malaga.
Questions:
Since the Alhambra visit is only at 5 PM, and we’d already have the day to explore Granada, would arriving the day before be a mistake? Or should we skip this day and dedicate it elsewhere (Costa del Sol? Head toward Tabernas?)? The old town appeals to me, but maybe the Sacromonte neighborhood isn’t essential...
Same question for Ronda: should we dedicate a full day to it, or combine Ronda and the White Villages in one day?
Note that we love wandering around villages outside, so that might answer my question! :)
Final question: Is it better to rent the car at Malaga Airport or in the city? If we rent at the airport, we’d need a hotel with parking, which doesn’t seem easy. Or stay outside the city and park for free near the center if possible? I’ve read comments about taking a taxi to Malaga and then picking up the rental car at the airport the next morning. The taxi would really need to be affordable...

My husband and I are planning a trip to Ireland in September 2026.
We’ll be flying from Montreal to London, where we’ll spend three nights.
After that, we’ll head to Dublin for a few days and take trains to visit the main attractions.
Our ideal plan would be to choose hotels near train stations and take tours to the interesting spots.
Would 8 days in Ireland be enough for this kind of trip?
We’re a group of 4 heading out at the end of June for 11 days.
I’m just starting my research.
We’ll be renting a regular car, not a 4x4.
I’m not finding a ton of info on the North.
Would love your take on all those kilometers—is there a route that lets us cut out a section?
