Notre action se décompose en plusieurs temp le but etant de donner une ambulance a l'hopital de dakar et de coupler cet action avec une livraison de compliment nutritionnel a un village situé a 150km de dakar ainsi que du matériel scolaire.
Mes questions sont les suivantes :
Nous partons d'antibes dans le sud de la france quels sont les pays a eviter dans le contexte actuel. Nous ne tenons pas a prendre de risque pour nous meme et aussi pour le materiel que nous livrons
Quel itineraire est le plus sur car nous tenons a rouler le maximum et prendre le bateau au minimum meme si la securité reste notre priorité (rouler jusqu a casablanca puis bateau jusqu a dakar ? )
Quel sont les demarches administratives pour la traversé de ces pays faut il prevoir des assurances particulieres ?
Quel sont les demarches administratives pour ceder a titre gratuit un vehicule a l'hopital de dakar

Mauritanie = un mois (vous remplissez un formulaire de déclaration sur l'honneur) 10 euro
Sénégal = passavant de 10 jours renouvelable deux fois 15 jours de plus , pour 2.500fr cfa (le double suivant l'heure ou le jour , soit 4 ou 8 euro )
Monnaies = Maroc : Dirham // Mauritanie : Ouglia // Sénégal: franc CFA

j ai laissé tombé l'option bateau qui se revele impossible le voyage se ferait donc par la route
Mon principal probleme aujourd hui reste la possibilité de dons du vehicule apparament c est un calvaire et au dire de certain temoignages c est meme completement fou certain ont atendu presque 2 mois pour offrir leur vehicule les problémes a l afrcaine comme on dit sans compter la fortune que cela a couter
je reste optimiste car nous avons un avantage nous travaillons en relation directe avec l hopital de dakar et nous comptons bien les impliqués pour ces problémes
Pour ton information cette aide nutritionelle est un extrait foliaire de lusérne je recois la directrice de l association enfants du monde demain et vu son experience dans le pays je lui demanderai conseil mais il n'y a pas d'inquietude a avoir l aide ira bien directement au enfant car nous la livrons directement a des bonnes soeurs dans ce petit village a 150 km de dakar voici pour te rassurer le site de l'association http://www.edm.org/malnutrition.html nous travaillons avec bcp d'association differente et celle ci est fiable
Pour en revenir au probleme du vehicule on me parle de possibilité de dedouaner ce dernier cela coute la moitié de la valeur argus ce qui dans notre cas est ridicule car bien que refaite a neuf cette ambulance ne cote plus rien a l argus.
Malheureusement si il y as trop de probléme pour cette operation, nous serons obliger de changer nos objectifs et de voir pour un autre pays moin compliqué meme si cette action d'ambulance nous permetter de combiner avec l'action complement nutritionnel

Je ne pense pas que des enfants soient en situation de faim.
Ces produits seraient mieux adaptés dans d'autres régions, encore qu'en ce moment il n'y ait pas bcp de problèmes, c'est la saison des pluies, donc pas de pénurie de nourriture.
Je pense qu'au Mali, dans le nord est , la faim est présente.
Pour donner votre véhicule , c'est vrai que ça ne va pas être facile. Mais si c'est une ambulance.... et puis au Sénégal.....
En tout cas vous ne vous investissez pas dans les tractations, sinon vous allez entrer dans une galère et des frais infinis.
Si une administration veut prendre ça en main, c'est bien mais ne commencez pas à payer , sinon ça va vous coûter cher !!
Je connais des ambulances qui sont au Sénégal depuis de longues années et qui sont toujours avec leur plaque française !!!

Déjà c'est impossible de vendre ou de donner un véhicule de + de 5 ans au Sénégal (pour un véhicule exceptionnel (ambulance) je ne sais pas !! pour le prix ce n'est pas tout a fait ça = c'est de 3 à 5 millions de dédouanement + le prix de l'argus , ne pas oublier que ce pays est dirigé par Wade et que c'est son fils qui à le marché de l'automobile en main , si tu vend ou donne , ça fait de l'argent en moins dans sa poche ....?
Et a 150 kms de Dakar , il n'y a personne qui crève de faim ..
A l'entrée du pays il y a inscription du véhicule sur le passeport (tout comme pour la Mauritanie) !! question = si tu donne le véhicule ? tu fais comment pour sortir du pays ???

d'apres ce que je vois le delai de 5 ans est de 8 ans pour les fourgons et 10 ans pour les camion je vais me renseigner sur la date de mon ambulance
en effet le dedouanement est exhorbitant jamais je n arriverai a reunir une telle somme pour des frais de douane finalement si ces pays on des problemes c est bien a cause des dirigeants qui s en mette plein les fouilles mais le probleme ne date pas d hier c est dificile de les aidez dans ces conditions

Ha si , il te faut (pour le Sénégal) un extincteur, trousse de secours, gilets fluo, triangle, port de la ceinture, assurance frontière ou à Nouakchott, prend un permis de conduire international (ce n'est pas obligatoire mais ils aiment ça ) gratuit en préfecture (2 photos + ton permis)
Pense à te faire des fiches (20) pour le Sahara Occidental et la Mauritanie (voir modèle dans mon blog à info par pays "Maroc")

Apres prise de contact avec l ambassade du senegal a paris, on m a conseillé de prendre contact avec le directeur de l'hopital concernés (hopital principal de dakar) cela presente plusieurs avantage :
il s agit d un hopital militaire donc avec des appuis politique ce qui pourra me permettre d obtenir de la part du ministere des finances l'exoneration des frais de deouanement
nous sommes deja en colaboration avec cet hopital
si nous n'arrivons pas a suprimé les frais de dedouanement, nous changerons de pays

Hopital militaire, appuis politiques sont à relativiser. L'ambassade du Sénégal ayant pris soin de botter ailleurs pour ne pas se mouiller, comme à son habitude.
C'est bien de demander l'exonération des droits de douanes, mais demande ne veut pas dire accord et même si accord il y aura, ça risque de prendre un certain temps, voire même un temps certain. Dans ce cas, il est de loin préférable d'attendre un accord formel, même s'il est de principe, avant d'y aller.
Mais à mon sens, de deux choses l'une: soit l'hopital s'engage à prendre à sa charge les droits de douane, soit c'est vous.
Vu que les hopitaux, militaires et/ou civil ont leur finances dans le rouge vif et qu'ils ont déjà du mal à assurer leurs dépenses courantes, ce n'est pas gagné d'avance.
Une association avait fait le don de matériel (médical) à une municipalité (Nguekokh- pas très loin de Dakar-), sous réserve et accord que la municipalité prenne à sa charge les frais à partir du port.
La municipalité n'ayant pas les moyens, le container sont est resté sur les quais. En se vidant accessoirement. Cet "incident" avait d'ailleurs été relaté dans la presse sénégalaise...
Je pense en effet que tu as raison, nous devons avoir un accord formel et je ne partirait pas la bas sans les papier necessaire en main
il est clair que dans tout les cas il est hors de question de payer les frais de dedouanement exhorbitant et je compte bien sur le directeur pour en avoir une exoneration

Bravo pour tes intentions! ..Mais je pense que nous sommes beaucoup à " être passés par là" Je m'explique: attention à ne pas juger l'afrique sans y avoir réellement vécu quelques temps et s'être confrontés à ses dures réalités: tout ceci se vit mais s'explique difficilement en quelques mots sur internet ...Pour faire court, ton jugement sera surement différent au retour et tu t'apercevras que " l'humanitaire " se fait plus au quotidien dans les différentes situations dans lesquelles tu seras confronté.Je finirais par dire également ; attention aux sites internet bien faits, bien "léchés " qui sont pour moi plus un reflet d'une vision purement "européenne" des choses et souvent assez loin des réalités et préoccupations quotidiennes de l'africain ..Je ne porte pas là de jugement ferme sur telle ou telle association ...mais je mets en garde , c'est tout ..Tout ceci faisant référence à du vécu personnel , bien sûr ...Pour la petite histoire je suis français , je passe la moitié de l'année au sénégal (pleinement intégré )dans la famille de ma femme ..J'y étais parti il y a quelques années "pour de l'humanitaire européen"...A+😉

I bought a one-way flight (Ryanair) and a return flight (EasyJet) to spend a week in Morocco in April.
My passport expires 3 weeks after the return date.
Some websites say the passport must be valid for 3 months at the time of entry.
However, it will still be valid both on entry and return, but its validity will only be 1 month at the time of entry (and 3 weeks on the return date, everything prepaid).
It's an individual family trip.
The consulate can't give me an answer—they're still looking into it (really!)
Last year, we stayed for 3 months in Thailand, north of Khao Lak, and were able to benefit from the 2-month visa exemption, renewable for one month by going to Takua Pa to validate a 1-month extension (1,900 baht).
This year, it’s a disaster for us—not only were we planning a 4-month stay, adding a visa run in between (which some say is quite risky), but the law is apparently changing in the coming months with the return of the 1-month exemption (plus the usual 1-month option). So, we looked into applying for a 6-month multiple-entry visa, allowing a maximum of 60 consecutive days in Thailand. However, I can’t find anywhere the minimum time required outside Thailand between two stays—do any of you have an idea?

As a French national, I need to obtain a short-stay visa that can be converted to a long-stay one. To do this, I have to send the required documents to the Madagascar embassy in Paris.
No issues with that procedure so far.
If I get this visa, once I arrive in Madagascar, I’ll need to provide the same documents to the Ministry of the Interior in Anosy. I’m trying to find an email address or website for the Ministry to check which documents I need to submit (I think they ask for additional ones).

I’d like to know if anyone has already applied for a private visa to Russia with an invitation from a Russian resident.
I traveled earlier this year with an e-visa, but since I want to stay longer, I’ll be visiting my friend who lives in eastern Russia.
For the visa application, does the invitation need to be on an official paper form issued by the Russian ministry? And most importantly, do I need to present the original for the application, or is there an electronic version that can be sent directly to the consulate in France?

I filled out the B2 form to apply for a visa, created an account on Atvis to pay the visa fees and schedule a meet-up, but every time I try to pay with my Boursobank Visa 1st card, they refuse the payment with a message telling me to check my details (address), even though everything is correct. Does anyone know why this is happening, or maybe they don’t accept Visa cards? Are you aware of this?

On her ticket, it only has her maiden name (e.g., Martine DUPOND).
On her passport, it’s written as Martine DUPOND épouse AVRY.
No issues for travel, I hope I did the right thing with the ticket?
Then for the ESTA, is just Martine DUPOND enough, or do I need to include the "épouse AVRY" part like on the passport?

I saw on the French Embassy in Peru’s website and the Peruvian Consulate in Paris’s site that the rule is to have a passport valid for 6 months *after the arrival date* (not the return date).
I arrive in Peru on August 13, 2019 (for about twelve days), and my passport is valid until February 16, 2020.
That’s 6 months and 3 days after my arrival date in Peru. In my opinion, I’m good to go.
But could I still be denied entry if they say I don’t cover the return date or that I’m too close to the 6-month mark?

My departure is slowly approaching, and now that I’ve got my Russian visa sorted, I’m fine-tuning the rest of my trip to Tajikistan. Since the Tajik visa is no longer required for stays under 30 days (for French nationals), I’ll need to visit the Ministry of Interior (OVIR) to register within 10 days of entering the country. No big deal, though, since I had to go there anyway to apply for my GBAO permit. 😉 However, I’ve *seen* several reports from travelers (mostly motorized) mentioning that you need an entry permit for Kyrgyzstan, which has to be arranged in advance at the Kyrgyz Ministry (consulate?) in Dushanbe. Otherwise, you’re *stuck* at the Kyzyl-Art border (with no Wi-Fi, of course, to try and sort it out). The most recent report was from a year ago, so I’d love to know if this is still the case and if it’s indeed at the Kyrgyz Ministry (consulate?) where you need to go for this pre-authorization.

I’m leaving for almost 3 months in the Philippines (11 weeks total) starting in early May.
I already have my round-trip ticket.
The problem is, I don’t have time to get a 2-month visa because the process takes nearly a month.
From what I’ve read here and there, I need a return ticket valid for less than a month when I arrive in the Philippines to prove my good faith.
After that, I can apply for a 30-day extension at the immigration office.
I’m planning to either buy a fully refundable ticket to the nearest country or a fake ticket.
For 3 months, I’ll need to extend my visa two more times before my return date to France.
My question is this:
Will immigration ask me each time I extend my visa by one month to show proof of an exit ticket matching the new visa extension date?
Is it possible to extend directly by 2 months before the initial 30 days expire?

My partner (Mexican) entered France on January 21st as a tourist. She was therefore entitled to stay for 90 days in the Schengen Area. She’ll be leaving for Mexico on April 16th, so she’ll have “used up” 86 days.
She plans to return to France on July 18th. According to the European Commission’s Schengen calculator, this new stay “may be authorized for a maximum of 90 days.” That’s not very clear ("may be," "for a maximum of").
The text of Article 6 of the European regulation (2016/399) states that for a stay planned in the territory of the Member States, not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period, one must examine "the 180-day period preceding each day of the stay." That’s not very clear either.
My partner wants to return to France for a 90-day period starting on July 18th. Is this possible?
There are two ways to look at it:
1) The first day she spent in the Schengen Area was January 21st. That day will drop out of the calculation 180 days later, on July 20th.
From July 20th, she’ll get back 1 day of possible stay; on July 22nd, 2 days; and so on. All the days from her previous stay (January 21st–April 16th) need to be outside the 180-day rolling window.
The last day of her stay was April 16th. Looking 180 days ahead, that brings us to October 13th. From that date, she’ll be able to return for a full 90 days.
2) The number of allowed days is calculated for each day of the new stay. In other words: the 180-day window is recalculated every day, not fixed at the entry date.
If she re-enters France on July 18th, she’ll only have a “credit” of 4 days. But with each day of her new stay, one day from the previous stay (January–April) will drop out of the calculation. The rolling window allows her to “replace” days from the previous stay with those of the new stay, without ever exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period.
In this case, my partner could stay in France for 90 days starting on July 18th.
The Prefecture doesn’t provide any information, nor does Air France, and in the forums I’ve checked, opinions are divided. Thanks for any insights you can share!

We’re planning to travel to Indonesia (Sulawesi with family) next July and August for a stay longer than a month (about 6 weeks).
I’ve seen that it’s possible to get a 60-day visa before departure, but I’ve also read about people having a lot of trouble getting it (some even didn’t manage and had to leave without it).
We absolutely need to have these 4 visas BEFORE leaving because once we’re in Sulawesi, I’m not sure we’ll be able to go to an embassy to request a visa extension after 30 days.
In short, how can we **100% guarantee** that we’ll get our 4 60-day visas before our trip this summer?
