J'ai recherché quelques informations mais je n'arrive pas à voir si c'est cher ou non, ou si les organisations sont correctes...
Il est vivement conseillé avant de t'engager dans une asso quelle qu'elle soit de t'assurer de sa véritable existence, de sa fiabilité par rapport à ses objectifs et de son hônnéteté évidement.
C'est plus facile et rassurant de choisir une asso française pour vérifier à travers ses statuts et n° d'enregistrement que tu peux lui demander de te communiquer.
Tu ne dois rien payer avant d'être sûre de t'engager avec et t'assurer qu'elle te procure bien les informations fiables que tu es en droit de demander.
Maintenant, qu'appelles-tu cher ?
Certaines grosses ONG demandent des participations financières élevées en effet.

Je n'ai pas vraiment de dates précises je suis disponible à partir de fin octobre
Je souhaiterai surtout partager avec la population locale (aider des enfants....)
La construction n'est pas mon fort.
En ce qui concerne les coûts, je ne sais pas du tout quel budget allouer. Cependant, je viens de finir mes études, donc je pense être assez restreinte.

C'est bien de partir, mais avec quelle association? Il y a beaucoup d'association qui existent de nom. Il est important d'exiger le document de légalisation avant de t'engager.

Je reviens d'un mois de bénévolat en Inde, j'ai été professeur pour un petit groupe d'enfants des rues.
Cette expérience a été vraiment très riche, mais il y a des points à soulever.
Je peux te donner quelques conseils :
tout d'abord, le bénévolat ce n'est pas à prendre à la légère. C'est une grosse responsabilité qui nous est confiée. Et le problème majeur c'est qu'il n'y a pas de suivi. C'est à dire que tu reprends la classe de l'ancien bénévole, il a enseigné d'une certaine manière, toi tu vas enseigner d'une autre, et tu arrives tu n'es pas préparé(e), et les enfants mettent du temps à s'adapter.
C'est vrai que l'idéal serait de rester plus longtemps - mais après tout dépend des disponibilité et du budget -
j'en arrive là à mon deuxième point : je suis parti "à l'arrache" à Calcutta (la ville de Mère Térésa), et j'ai directement contacté une association sur place : Les Missionaires de la Charité (c'est catholique - mais je ne suis pas coyant et encore moins pratiquant et j'ai été très bien accueilli dans le groupe). Par contre, même si tu ne payes pas l'associatio, tu dois te payer un logement et la nourriture (l'avantage avec l'Inde c'est que ça ne coute pas grand chose).
là où resident les difficultés, c'est que tu es confronté à l'extrême pauvreté, et tu ne sais pas les limites que tu dois avoir - un enfant astropié de demande de l'argent, comment resister? Mais là est tout le problème, il ne faut pas céder à la mendicité car c'est contreproductif.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
