Oui je connais bien l'Association et je continue à contribuer à son développement. Je demeure à Laval au Québec, Canada. Je suis allée à Lomé au Togo à l'été 2008 avec ma fille de 30 ans. Nous nous occupions d'un orphelinat ainsi que d'enfants de la rue. Ce fut très valorisant et je peux t'assurer que tu seras très bien encadrée. Les après-midi on visitait la ville avec Amza Adoyi le président et les autres membres qui étaient avec nous. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et Amza possède un très grand charisme ce qui nous rassure beaucoup au début. Ce n'est pas toujours évident de se retrouver dans une ville inconnue et lointaine avec des gens de moeurs différentes. Donc avoir la présente d'un des leurs avec nous facilite beaucoup les déplacements. Les chantiers sont bien organisés et l'association est fiable et elle vient vraiment en aide aux plus démunis. Alors n'hésite pas je suis certaine que tu vivrais une très belle expérience. N'hésite pas à m'écrire directement si tu veux plus de précisions.

Il est important de se renseigner au préalable car les associations de charlatans fourmillent au Togo. J'y retourne à la mi novembre et je peut me renseigner sur place avec davantage de coordonnées.

Je recommande aussi l'association Graine de soleil. Je n'ai malheureusement pas été sur place pour vérifier la qualité des actions mise en oeuvre.
Mais ce que je peux dire c'est qu'Amza Adoyi est une personne chaleureuse avec qui je communique depuis de nombreuses années via Internet.

Oui je suis partie avec l'Association Graines de Soleil à l'été 2008. Ce fut une très très belle expérience. On était bien encadré et on a créé et participé à plusieurs activités. J'était avec les enfants d'un orphelinat. C'est une association très sérieuse et je continue de les aider d'ici au Canada.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
