Moi et ma conjointe voulons partir pour faire de l'aide humanitaire mais en regardant la documentation je me rend compte que c'est très compliqué de trouver une agence qui n'ait une multitude d'exigences. Nous voulons tout simplement aller aider sans débourser de nos propres poches.
vraiment je ne comprends pas ce que vous voulez faire vous deux.
faire du bénévolat sans mettre la main dans la poche;c'est ou vous avez un savoir faire confirmé que vous voulez transmettre et par là ça sera une vraie valeur ajoutée, ou tout simplement il s'agit du tourisme déguisé.

j ai eu plusieurs canadiens du quebec dans mon projet...ils ont tous mis la main a la poche sans problemes...meme si la participation aux frais reste modique il reste l idee de la solidarite et du partage....dans des pays au ras des paquerettes..

je suis assez d'accord avec les messages que vous avez reçus : "faire de l'humanitaire" sans vouloir débourser un sou ce n'est pas l'idée que je me fais de "l'humanitaire", de plus lorsque l'on est motivé il n'y a rien de plus "réconfortant" que de pouvoir aider (dans la mesure de ses moyens bien sûr) les gens qui en ont tant besoin!
je suis allée aux Philippinnes au printemps 2007 souvenirs inoubliables, gens extraordinaires de simplicité et de gentillesse, cela nous change de notre relationnel quotiden ici en France, où les gens ne sont jamais contents

Bonjour, je serai à la retraite dans trois mois, j'ai un projet que je souhaiterai réaliser c'est à dire des reportages vidéo de 6 à 13 minutes sur les actions, les projets des Associations et des ONG en Afrique de l'Ouest je compte résider au Burkina Faso.Le problème se sont les moyens, connaissez-vous des organismes qui pourrait participer au financement de ces reportages, qui seront diffusés à partir de Paris sur les Satellites, en Français, en Anglais et en Portugais et sur un blog.

Je comprends ce que tu veux dire.Ce que je veux dans le fond c'est d'aller vivre dans un endroit pour y faire de l'humanitaire et non pour du tourisme. Un peu comme ce qui t'arrive.

C'est quoi le bénévolat pour vous ? et le bénévolat humanitaire de surcroît ?
Cessez de vous cacher derrière votre petit doigt, et dîtes simplement que vous avez envie d'exotisme sans que ça vous coûte.
comme tout le monde vous le dit, qui connaît une association sérieuse et fiable engagée dans le bénévolat de solidarité internationale, qui ne mette la main à la poche pour se prendre en charge. Ou alors il s'agit d'ONG d'une certaine taille, subventionnée sur fonds publics. Mais quand même, vous devrez au moins participer un minimum, ça va de soi.
Avant de partir, réflechissez à ce que vous attendez d'un tel projet et à ce que vous pourrez apporter aux populations rencontrées, car ne l'oubliez pas vous n'y serez que de passage, et après vous souciez-vous de l'impact que vous laisserez ?
Ca vaut la peine d'y réfléchir, croyez-moi.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
