J'habite Chennai et l'association DON BOSCO ANBU ILLAM a un très grand besoin de volontaires. Ce centre accueille les enfants des rues qui ont été maltraités, abusés et abandonnés. Certains sont orphelins. Beaucoup ont dû fuir de chez eux pour quitter leur malheur. Ils ont quelques chambres.

Quelques Indiens de l'association repèrent les enfants seuls qui sont arrivés ou qui partent de la gare centrale. Ils les accostent et après un entretien, décide ou non de les placer dans un centre d'accueil ou une solution sera trouvée pour eux. Ils ont eu une vie très difficile. Certains sont orphelins. Il y a une maison pour les garçons et une pour les filles. L'association les scolarise, les loge, les nourrit et blanchit. Elle s'occupe également des gens des bidonvilles.
Ils ont énormément besoin de volontaires. Toute aide est la bienvenue. Pour ma part, j'ai décidé de les aider en y allant de temps en temps. Il y a un groupe de Français qui est présent.
Si tu veux les coordonnées d'un volontaire français, je peux te les transmettre en privé.

non je n'ai pas eu plus d'info.. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de m'en occuper.
Il y a une autre asso dans le nord de l'Inde, je te donne le contact le temps de le retrouver!
sinon, si tu es de nantes, il y a l'AFEA qui travaille sur Bombay, je les contacte lundi car je pars en septembre dans le sud de l'Inde.

Actuellement en école de commerce (ESC La Rochelle) il m'est imposé de partir en stage durant 3 mois pour valider ma première année.
Comme dit précédemment, je dois partir pendant une durée de 8 à 12 semaines minimum. Mon école pensant qu’un stage humanitaire peut être une expérience difficile,
elle nous demande de partir avec un ou plusieurs camarades de ma promotion (tous aussi motivés que moi).

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
