J'ai 20 ans et ça fait déjà quelques années que j'aimerais partir en Afrique pour participer à une oeuvre caritative.
Je ne connais personne qui aie déjà fait l'expérience c'est pourquoi je me tourne vers vous.
J'aimerais savoir s'il existe des associations qui organisent ce genre d'expérience ( j'ai regardé sur internet mais c'est toujours très couteux! ) a moindre prix. Si oui les quelles? Dans quel pays était-ce? Comment ça se passe une fois sur place? Si certains d'entre vous l'ont déjà fait, etait-ce une bonne experience?
Je me pose mille et une questions, donc si certaines pouvaient m'éclairer un peu, ce serait sympa!
Je suis allée à Lomé au Togo avec ma fille Christine qui avait 32 ans à l'époque en 2009. Ce fut une très belle expérience. Nous venons du Canada donc l'avion a coûté cher mais toi de Belgique ce devrait être plus abordable. Le président de l'Association est Amza Adoyi. C'est un homme qui possède un très grand charisme. Il nous rassure par sa présence. Il donne beaucoup pour son peuple. Nous étions dans un orphelinat et on s'occupait également d'enfants de la rue. Je continue à aider l'Association, d'ici au Canada, car ils ont occupé une grande place dans mon coeur. C'est l'Association Graines de Soleil. Elle possède une antenne en France. Je te la recommande fortement. Tu peux la retrouver sur Facebook ou sur Internet. Orphelins Sida International propose des missions au Bénin, au Burkina Faso, au Burundi, en Côte d’Ivoire, en Inde ou au Togo !
Les missions répondent aux besoins exprimées par les ONG locales et visent à pérenniser et renforcer les programmes de ces dernière, toujours en lien avec les enfants orphelins du Sida.
Chaque bénévole a la possibilité de choisir une mission adaptée à sa personnalité et à ses compétences : une tâche administrative qui bénéficiera à notre partenaire (site Internet, comptabilité, formation continue etc..) ou une mission à destination de leurs publics bénéficiaires- les orphelins et enfants vulnérables- (soutien scolaire, soins infirmiers, etc..).

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. So I’m looking for contacts in this field, in Ouaga or elsewhere. I’m *super* motivated! It’s been over two years since I got back from Tanzania, and I’m starting to feel restless!

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
