Je vais me presenter un petit peu avant de vous posez mes questions, sa pourrai etre utile.
Alors je m'apelle Maxime, j'ai 18 ans depuis le 30 Novembre. Je suis actuellement en derniere année de mon bac professionnel dans le domaine electronique audiovisuel ( S.E.N. = Systeme Electronique Numérique ) et je suis passioné par la culture américaine et canadienne.
J'ai pour projet de partir apres ma terminal au Canada ou aux Etats Unis. Jusqu'a present j'avais dans l'idée de passer un mois dans l'un de ces deux pays grace a divers organismes proposant des sejours linguistiques. Cependant, j'ai une amie qui part passé une année dans l'un de ces deux pays, l'entendre m'en parler, me faire suivre l'evolution de son dossier m'a réelement donné envie d'opter pour cette option. Passer une année d'etude dans un des deux pays. Cependant je me pose quelques questions.
Puis-je m'inscrire à une de ces offres etant etudiant dans un lycée professionnel et nom dans un lycée general ? Il y a t'il des personnes ayant participé a ce programme ( un an dans un lycée ) et qui avait un niveau normal ? Si oui, ont elles reussi à s'en sortir et se faire comprendre.
J'ai actuellement 14 de moyenne en Anglais, mais ça reste un niveau de bac professionnel, je ne sais pas ce que sa vaut en comparant cela au lycée d'enseignement general.
Si vous avez des reponses à apporter a ces questions et des temoignages a me donner afin de me rassurer ça serai tres gentils de votre part =)
si tu veux etudier il faut que tu ai un permis d etudes et pour cela tu dois te renseigner aupres des université canadiennes, leurs programmes d admission s'adressent aussi a des étudiants étrangers et tu peux faire des demandes. Cependant les equivalences ne sont pas les mêmes, d'un autre côté je te dirais que si tu veux étudier au canada la solution la plus facile pour toi est d'aller au Quebec, mais la tu t'éloigne du séjour linguistique...puisque la langue parlée est le....francais😛
Pour etudier aux USA je te le dit franchement, ne rêve pas trop; les université sont très chères (10000euros par an en moyenne), pas vraiment ouvertes aux étudiants qui ne sont pas anglophone (même si 14 en anglais au bac c'est une bonne note, notre niveau reste tout de même bien loin de celui qu'il te faudrait pour étudier la-bas.
voila si d'autres personnes veulent ajouter des commentaire, je reste dans l'idée que la meilleure chose a faire c'est le PVT, un ami est parti un an et le charme du canada l'a fait craqué,

Bah enfaite je voudrais partir avec un organisme, pour le coup là sa serait STS ( http://www.sts.fr/france/hs/destinations/amerique_du_nord/USA/ )
Le programme coute dans les 5000/6000e c'est relativement cher en effet !
Je pense que les programmes sont adaptés pour des jeunes comme moi ? Non ?
j'ai deja travaillé aux USA avec un de ces organismes, le principe normalement, c'est qu'ils te donnent un visa J1 qui te permet de travailler (ca c'est bien!!🙂) mais en compensation ils se font de l'argent sur ton dos (ca c'est moins bien🤪) tu bosse comme un fou dans la semaine (je dis ca pour le programme au pair) tu relaxes les Week end et t'en profite pour voyager (si tu as encore des forces :)) mais si j'etais toi j'essaierai plutôt de partir par moi-même et de tenter ma chance seul,
bien sur à 18 ans ce n'est pas facile, mais ca te coutera certainement moins cher que les 6000euros l'année que te propose l'organisme, et ton expérience la-bas sera incomparablement plus enrichissante,
D'ailleurs si je te dis ca c'est parce que je suis francais moi aussi et j'étudie au canada depuis 2ans, j'ai découvert l'amérique du nord à 18ans quand je suis parti avec camp america (un autre organisme) pour y travailler un été, ca a été une experience magique (même si après reflexion ils payaient un americain 2500$ pour faire le même travail que moi( 300$) d'ou mon amertume), a toi de choisir mais je reste sur mon idée que tu devrais te renseigner sur le PVT

N'oublie pas que tu es loin d'etre majeur au U.S.A, (21 ans) et qu'au Canada, c'est 18-19 ou 20, ca dépend des provinces. Je te conseillerais de venir au Canada seulement pour la majorité, car au USA, si t'as pas 21 ans, tu peux rien faire. (Je sais, à 10 ans tu peux avoir un fusil mais à 20 ans tu peux pas prendre une biere.....des osties de fucké les americains...)

Bon bah je revien un peu "decu" d'une nouvelle apprise il y a quelques jours part l'organisme STS.
J'avais vu un programme en High school qui m'aurai beaucoup plu de faire. Malheuresement j'ai ... un mois et deux jours de trop pour participer à ce séjour =( En effet, les enfants les plus vieux pouvant participer à ce sejour sont ceux né maximum au 1 Janvier 89.
J'ai regardé un petit peu d'autre offre dont des sejours de plusieurs semaine ( 36 semaines pour ma part ) en centre linguistique. Cependant en choisissant ça j'ai un peu peur de rater beaucoup de chose qui me motivé en plus d'apprendre la langue anglaise pour partir aux USA, a savoir tout ce que les high school organise et les rencontres avec d'autres eleves de mon age.
Les centres linguistiques sont destinées aux personnes de 16 a 25 ans et j'ai un peu peur de ne pas me retrouver avec des gens de 18/20 mais beaucoup plus agés. Il y a t'il des personnes qui on participé a un programme similaire qui pourrait me donner des infos sur l'age des participant ?

Actuellement je suis a la recherche d'un bon plan pour pouvoir faire un ti voyage linguistique pour l'été 2009 C a dire ecole et hébergement. Enfaite je suis déja allez plusieur fois a NY, parsque j'ai de la famille la-bas et a Washington aussi, mais la j'ai envie d'y allez pour perfectionner mon Anglais et je voudrais etre independante donc me trouvéuelque chose de bien pour me loger et pourquoi pas choisir un autre Etat .
Il a telement d'oganisme je ne sait pas le quel prendre, ni ou chercher .
enfaite j'aimerais bien trouver soit une petit chambre université ou bien une chambre chez un particulier, pas famille d'acceuil mais un particulier sa srai pas mal, j'ai des amis qui sont deja la-bas et qui vit egalement chez un particulier, c'est plus independant que dans une famille d'acceuil car généralement ce sont de jeunes ou bien des célibataire.
Donc si vous pouviez m'aider a m'éclérer dans mes recherche, ou bien si quelqu'un est dans le meme cas que moi, on pourras toujours s'arranger pour prendre une ti truc en coloc xD

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
