Actuellement je suis en BTS communication, et je souhaite donc compléter mon BTS en faisant une année au Canada et plus précisément à Montréal.
J'aurai donc plusieurs questions😬 :
1/ le programme "certificat en communication appliquée" est-il intéressant ? (Sur la page facebook de la communauté des étudiants en communication, cette filière n'est pas bien notée)
2/ le test de français obligatoire pour l'admission à l'udem est-il difficile ?
3/ si vous connaissez ce programme à l'UQAM je suis preneuse de vos avis aussi.

Non, le programme n'a pas tellement changé les cours sont similaires à ceux que j'avais suivi. C'est quoi que tu cherches à savoir exactement? Pose des questions plus précises...

Bien, ce sont différents cours dans le domaine de la communication. As-tu été voir la grille de cours du programme sur le site de l'Université? Car tout est là, y compris la description des cours:

Comme je l'ai dit, les cours sont mentionnés dans la grille, c'est à toi de sélectionner les cours qui t'intéressent...
Si tu as déjà un diplôme en France dans ce domaine, je crois que le programme de l'UdeM ne serait peut-être pas ce que tu recherches si ton but c'est d'avoir quelque chose de poussé (remarque je n'ai strictement aucune idée des cours en France, les niveaux, etc).
Il faut savoir qu'un certificat est conçu pour avoir une formation complémentaire à celle qu'on possède déjà. Par exemple, j'ai connu une fille qui était diplômée en nutrition, et qui faisait ce certificat pour développer ses compétences en comm afin de faire des séminaires, etc. sur le sujet de la nutrition. D'autres personnes (comme moi) veulent essentiellement explorer le domaine et apprendre des nouvelles choses.
Un certificat n'est pas une formation terminale. C'est un moyen rapide pour un adulte d'acquérir des nouvelles compétences, d'ajouter des cordes à son arc, etc.
Si tu recherches une formation plus poussée, tu devrais plutôt considérer le baccalauréat en sciences de la communication...Là encore, je ne connais pas tes objectifs, ce que tu recherches en bout de ligne, c'est dur de te conseiller. Je suis assez curieuse de savoir pourquoi tu viens au Québec pour étudier ce que tu as appris en France...?

Justement, j'ai bien regardé le programme de L'Udem et en quoi consistaient les cours, mais c'est dure de se faire une idée juste en lisant 1 petit paragraphe d'explication.
Après je constate que les appellations des cours du programme sont bien différents de celui de France donc c'est pour ça que je ne sais pas trop en réalité en quoi consiste les cours et si c'est vraiment autre chose qu'aves les cours que je fais déjà.
Cependant, avec ce que je comprends en m'informant du coup sur le programme grâce à leur site, je pense que les 3/4 des cours du programmes ont l'air bien différents de ceux d'en France, donc faudra que je me fasse une idée en y allant 😉
Je te fais une petite explication de mon objectif du coup 😄 : Je souhaite compléter ma formation en France donc 2 années de BTS avec une année au Canada. D'abord pour enfin connaître ce pays (c'est un rêve d'y aller) et deuxièmement pour avoir une expérience à l'internationale.
J'avais pensé à faire un baccalauréat (Canada) mais reprendre pour 3 années d'études ... franchement je me sens pas de reprendre du début (BTS n'est pas reconnu par les universités)

Alors dans ce cas, je pense que oui, ce programme est conçu pour toi :) Au Québec, les cours sont plus axés sur la pratique que la théorie. En France, on vous bourre le crâne mais vous ne mettez pas grand-chose en pratique je pense...

My name is Deborah, I’m French. I’m married and have two children. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in psychotraumatology, and I’m also pursuing medical studies.
For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
