hi,
I’m traveling to the United States via Canada. I’ve already arranged an AVE for the Canadian transit,
but I’ve lost the email with the AVE number.
Could you tell me how to retrieve this AVE number?
Thanks in advance for your help
Hi there,
I don’t have personal experience with this, but according to the official site, you don’t need to have your eTA with you: "Your eTA is linked to the passport you used when you applied. You’ll need to present that passport when you check in for your flight to Canada. You don’t need to print any special document. The airline staff will scan your passport to confirm you have a valid eTA."
Did you remember to get your ESTA for your layover in the U.S.? It’s mandatory.

Hello,
I’m traveling to the United States with a layover in Canada. I have an approved eTA for the Canadian transit,
but I lost the email with the eTA number.
Can you tell me how to retrieve this eTA number?
Thanks in advance for your help!
You’ll find it by searching your emails with a rough keyword—nothing ever really disappears on a computer. Otherwise, you don’t need the number; they have all the info at the checkpoint.
Best regards.
