L'association Rêves d'enfants a été créée il y a 9 ans dans le but de répondre aux objectifs suivants :
- Sensibiliser aux problèmes des orphelins d'Afrique du Nord et de l'Ouest,
- Apporter de l'aide et du soutien à ces enfants et aux orphelinats
- Développer les échanges culturels entre l'Europe et l'Afrique du Nord et de l'Ouest
Afin de mener à bien notre mission, un convoi exceptionnel partira, au printemps 2011 vers l’Afrique du Nord.
En effet, pendant plusieurs jours, nous réaliserons des opérations dans plusieurs orphelinats du Maroc et d’Algérie. Nous distribuerons le matériel que nous avons pu récolter et organiserons des animations ainsi qu'un goûter pour égayer la journée des enfants. Je crois comprendre que vous n'êtes pas au courant que les frontières entre l'Algérie et le Maroc sont fermées !
Aussi, en Algérie, faire un convoi humanitaire est soumis à autorisation de l'Etat (Ministère de la Solidarité) et sans cela, aucune possibilité de débarquer au port d'Oran avec des "dons" qui seront systématiquement confisqués !!
apparemment notre dernière discussion a été fermé. donc je me permets de vous répondre sur celle-ci (qui reste relativement la même)
A mon avis l'idée même de "convoi humanitaire" est difficile à mettre en place pour une petite asso et le rapport coût/ bénéfice pour les populations est relativement faible.
Bien sûr cela reste mon avis.
Quant au financement d'un tel projet, demander sur VF aux gens de faire des dons cela me semble un brin "désespéré" sachant qu'apparemment à quelques mois du départ, vous n'avez même pas 10% du budget...😕
Cependant il existe plein de financement pour des projets sérieux...
Mais quant à ce "petit" oubli sur la frontière Maroc/Algérie que t'as soumis Tafakara, il en dit long...😊
concernant la frontière, nous sommes en train de nous renseigner... En effet il s'agit de notre premier convoi. Habituellement, nous nous contentons de nous rendre dans quelques orphelinats soit en Algérie, soit au Maroc. La présidente de l'association est Algérienne, c'est elle qui s'en occupait et se rendait dans les orphelinats. Cette année, ayant récolté beaucoup de matériel, nous avons pensé toucher plus d'orphelinats.
Nous sommes actuellement en contact avec les ambassades d'algérie et du maroc afin de voir ce qu'il est possible de faire. Nous attendons leurs réponses. Si cela n'est pas possible, nous nous rendrons dans un seul pays, et ferons l'autre lors de notre prochain départ.
Nous sommes encore en train d'étudier le projet, et comme vous le dites, le rapport coût/bénéfice.
Je n'ai pas mis ce message pour récolter des dons. Il s'agit surtout de faire un "buzz" autour du projet, d'en parler, de faire connaître l'association. Lorsque l'on est une petite association, il n'est pas facile de mettre en place ce type de projet. Nous vivons surtout grâce aux évènements que nous organisons et ceux auxquels nous participons. Nous nous sommes inscrits sur ulule pour nous aider à réaliser ce convoi. Le but : nous faire connaître, susciter l'intérêt de chacun, et, si la personne le souhaite, soutenir le projet.
J'espère avoir répondu à toutes vos interrogations. Je tiens à vous assurer que nous sommes une association sérieuse, qui débute et fait encore des erreurs. Nous essayons et nous engageons pour aider les enfants...
Le problème de la frontière ne changera rien, puisque la fermeture est pour tout le monde !!!
Les ambassades ne sont concernées qu'indirectement, c'est à vous de faire les démarches auprès du Ministère de la Solidarité et qui vous orientera peut-être vers un autre Ministère pour obtenir des autorisations !!!
En plus, en tant que Présidente d'une association française mais qui intervient au Maghreb (Sahara), je suis résidente en Algérie et mon mari étant algérien, on nous oblige de faire des actions et projets à travers une association locale de droit algérien !
Nous n'avons pas le droit d'intervenir directement !

I’m planning to spend two months in Morocco from January 19, 2027, to March 13, 2027. I’ll be traveling in a truck, so I’ll be mobile.
I’d love to offer my time as a volunteer to perform a show that’s suitable for all audiences (kids and adults) in village squares. I’d also like to visit hospitals and orphanages as a clown.
My route will start in Nador, then head down to Merzouga, before making my way to the coast either above or below Agadir. Toward the end of my trip, I’ll return to Zagora and Merzouga before leaving from either Nador or Tangier.
I already have contacts in Merzouga and Zagora. Next, I’d like to head toward the coast above or below Agadir, and I’m looking for contacts (associations, orphanages, hospitals) in that area or along my route.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
