Nous serons au Melia Cayo Guillermo du 10 au 24 mars 2006. Nous avons réservé une chambre avec vue sur la mer.
J'aimerais savoir quel bloc est le mieux situé s'il y en a plus d'un.
De plus, si quelqu'un a une carte du site; j'aimerais bien en avoir copie ou l'adresse du site internet.
Y-a-t-il quelque chose que je devrais savoir sur cet hôtel.
Qui y sera en même temps que nous ?

Mélia Cayo Guillermo est certainement le plus beau voyage de ma vie.
prépare toi moralement le matin, a prendre ton cappuchino et aller sur le quai (long de 1/2 mile approx.), avec hamacs ou chaises berçantes recouvertes de paille, et te mettre les pieds dans l'eau et regarder la mer bleue
prépare toi a prendre un petit drink avant le souper, et pourquoi pas une petite partie de billard en attendant le souper ?
prépare toi a des spas extérieurs, a des tables avec champagne sur glace a volonté.. toute la journée.
prépare toi a de la bonne bouffe
prépare toi un petit roupillon dans un hamac, entre deux arbres, sous les palmiers ..

J'ai visité à peu près tous les sites internet où il y a des photos du MCG et ça semble super. Tu le confirmes.
Quel bloc de chambres me suggères-tu, on a une chambre avec vue sur la mer. Selon la carte du complexe, les blocs 3001-3004 et 3005-3008 seraient bien situés. Qu'en penses-tu?

je ne comprends pas, car la plage est super belle. Encore en janvier dernier, j'y étais (en 2005), mais je ne restais pas là mais plutôt à playa coco.
Et la plage était comme l'année d'avant; belle.
Évidemment, aucun contrôle sur les algues (tempêtes, vents) qui sont apportées de temps en temps.
Mais mon souvenir est ceci; les hamacs piqués dans l'eau, tu fais un toupillon et tu vérifies les marrées, car l'eau peut arriver sous toi (mais aucunement dangereux, tu vois le genre ?? juste cool quoi ! )
le quai est magique, je le vois encore. L'eau est transparente; tu peux même louer gratuitement des palmes et un masque, marcher sur le quai, prendre la petite escalier, et nager le long du quai (poissons apparents, sable blanc).. le bonheur le bonheur 😉
Le site est tellement beau aussi, que peut importe où tu es, les plantes prédominent et ton pavillon est agréablement beau. Nous étions situés par dessus l'entrée principale, face à la mer (on s'entend que la mer est à quelques pas), mais la vue....... woww... un grand balcon (terrasse). Mais je ne me rappelle plus malheureusement du numéro du pavillon. Attention d'éviter cependant la discothèque (le bruit pourrait déranger- on s'était fait dire de ne pas demeurer dans les pavillons près de la disco)

je viens moi aussi de visionner les photos offertes sur le site que tu me disais, et j'en ai la chair de poule.. que de beaux souvenirs..
ne t'en fait pas; les algues sont les algues, et ils vont nettoyer à tous les matins (on a pas le contrôle des vents)
Normalement (normalement je dis bien), il ne vente pas à Cuba, donc les chances que les algues soient minimes sont fortes (moi depuis 3-4 voyages, il n'y en a presque qu'aucunes)
c'est si beau; mon descriptif que je donnais (les huttes, les hamacs, le quai) tout y est.. Avis aux intéressés, ces photos sont supers.

Pour les blocs que tu as mentionne 3001 a 3008 ils sont seulement un etage (terrasse) la vue sur la mer est bloque par des dunes. Par contre, ils sont tres pres de la plage et d'un des bars ou tu peux jouer au billard, ping pong...ce bloque sera mon choix lors de notre prochain voyage.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
