Of course, everyone will be happy. It's easy and more comfortable.

I didn't see anything like that on the Supratours website—do you have a link?

In the image (the green line), there’s a small note at the bottom left that says "coming soon".

sorry about that, oh yes, I see now. It’s definitely in the works; sorry, Rachid.

From 'coming soon' Moroccan-style! A Morocco-Senegal-Mauritania agreement was signed in 2013.

Let's wait and see!

Sorry about that—I did see it after all. It’s definitely in the works; apologies, Rachid.

No worries! Even though I’ve never heard of anyone who’s actually done it, it’s still a better option than RAM’s 300 € tickets or the bush taxis for me since I’m heading to Senegal, and for anyone else who wants to make this trip. But what about Guerguerat?

That's what we're also trying to figure out in this discussion... let's wait for more info. 🙂

"Imik imik" as our Berber friends say, or "degue degue" as the Dogon say... soon soon, Inshallah! 🙂

Normally, I'm doing this route on the 26th; I'll post a report!

With Supratours?

I’ll give it a try...

Hi everyone. It's dame supergirafe, just arrived in Nouadhibou.

I was planning to write a more detailed description later, but since you're all eager to know, we took the bus at 8 AM this morning from Dakhla (though we didn’t leave the city until around 9 AM). By 2 PM, we arrived in Guergarat, and by 3 PM, we had our exit stamps. We were then taken in a minivan from the El Moussavir company to cross the no man’s land. At the Mauritanian customs, the driver handled everything—he guided us and stayed with us until everyone was done, then we got back in the minivan. At the junction with the N2, another minivan picked up passengers heading to Nouakchott, and we continued toward Nouadhibou. In the city, they dropped us off directly at our campsite. It’s now 6:30 PM.

In short, it took a bit longer than a taxi, but we always felt safe. At 260 MAD, I’d recommend it.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Good news. Thanks a million for your feedback. That’ll make our lives easier :)

Thanks for this valuable info!

Any idea how long the taxi ride takes?

Trickier question: what time does the bus leave Nouadhibou in the other direction?

way to go Supergirafe!!! that’s awesome, with those long legs you were so fast!!! have a great stay in Mauritania!!!!😎
CA Cambrousse Globetrotter ·
With the taxi... you never know what time it'll be full. So after that, it's the ? Both times I arrived in the middle of the afternoon. The second time, the taxi wasn't allowed to cross the border... A driver for Ali was hanging around there... So we left with him. We let them sort out the money.

If Supratours is permanent, that's great. Thanks to the tall giraffe 🙂

Hello everyone. This is Supergiraffe who just arrived in Nouadhibou.

Your questions are welcome.

Good evening! Thank you so much—this deserves a ton of cheers! Can’t wait for a Morocco-Dakar trip. I just read on EL MOUSSAVIR’s Facebook page that they started collaborating with Supratours since June 20, 2016. I’d love to know if El Moussavir also does Nouakchott-Dakar or Bamako?

You made my day, Supergiraffe—thanks again!

Yes, ululations, yes! Maybe the presence of Moorish families in Dakhla explains why these agreements were set up. Let’s hope it’s the same for Dakar, since there are quite a few Mauritanians in Senegal too..🙂 Thanks again, supergirafe...
