Or je voudrais voyager pour une plus longue période (à pieds) et je suis bloqué en france car il me faut absolument mon traitement sinon je n'ai plus la santé (crise d'épilepsie).
Je ne dois pas etre le seul à prendre un traitement journalier en france et qui désire voyager ailleurs qu'en france, il y'a bien une solution ?!
Personne est capable de me donnez la démarche à suivre, ni mon docteur, ni aucune pharmacie...et tout le monde prefere me rabaissez et me découragez dans mon projet, je compte sur vous pour m'aidez!

Vous prenez rendez vous dans votre centre de sécurité sociale (si c'est nécessaire chez vous) (leur téléphoner) et vous avez votre autorisation,
Voilà plusieurs années que nous faisons comme cela et nous sommes parti l'année dernière au Canada et USA avec le traitement pour 6 mois.

Il faut avoir une ordonnance de plusieurs mois où est spécifié le voyage à l'étranger. Avant il fallait ensuite passer par un accord préalable de la Sécurité Sociale mais je crois que désormais on traite directement avec son pharmacien.
Je suis étonné que le votre n'ait pas été en mesure de vous renseigner vu qu'il est le premier concerné, peut-être habitez-vous dans une zone où les voyageurs au long cours sont rares? 😐

Bonsoir, j habite en campagne et déjà l an dernier pour faire le gr10, j ai du faire un détour pour m arrêter à une pharmacie au bout de 1mois... Mon neurologue me dis que c'est pas possible et que il faut que je réduise mon trek à 1 mois max pour être revenu à temps... Or je vois que vos médecins vous proposent des solutions mais pas le miens, je vais changer de neurologue et aller sur Toulouse pour trouver une solution, je l espère... Je ne demande pas la lune, partir sans mon traitement serait une catastrophe avec un rapatriement quasiment sur au bout de 1 mois.
Merci je vais rien lâcher pour trouver une solution car annuler mon trek au Japon à cause de ce problème n est pas envisageable pour moi.

Il faut demander avec ton ordonnance, en justifiant ton absence, un accord préalable auprès de ta caisse qui permettra au pharmacien de te délivrer les X mois acceptés ... c'est mon pharmacien qui m'a indiqué la procédure !

Oui, j y ai pensé mais comment savoir si mon traitement sera disponible ? Pour ce qui est de mon pharmacien qui ne peux pas me renseigner, il ne veut tout simplement pas prendre le risque de commander plusieurs mois de traitement et à peur que je change entre temps de traitement ce qui ferait que le traitement serait à ses frais... Car je suis le seul client qui prend ce traitement, en gros il a peur de se retrouver avec mon traitement sur les bras et ne pas pouvoir le refourgue à quelqu'un d'autre, une honte de tenir des propos comme ça !!

J'ignore si c'est national ou le résultat d'un accord local entre la CPAM et les pharmaciens de mon département mais dans mon cas je n'ai plus à passer par un accord préalable de la Sécurité Sociale, c'est géré directement avec mon pharmacien.
Par contre il faut toujours une ordonnance spécifiant la délivrance de plusieurs mois d'un coup (jusqu'à 6 mois).
Il n'est pas nécessaire que cette ordonnance soit établie par votre spécialiste, elle peut être établie par votre généraliste.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
