Dixie est une petite chatte québécoise native de la Côte Nord du Québec. Elle me suit vraiment partout et est très attachée a moi, moi aussi d'ailleurs c réciproque ... Nous ne nous sommes séparé qu une seule fois pendant 72 heures : elle aurait, d'après mon frère, déprimé de mon absence donc ca fait mal à la savoir si loin. J'ai quitté le Québec il y a trois mois, pour arriver temporairement en France, j'ai naturellement emmené Dixie, elle a très bien supporté le voyage et son nouvel domicile, les papiers et vaccins tout s'est déroulé sans problème. Elle a bien vécu le doux hiver francais.
Là, un événement inattendu m'oblige à aller m'installer à Marrakech, pour mon travail le 6 février. Je veux emmener Dixie avec moi, mais je m'inquiète pour elle car elle n'a jamais connu le climat chaud. J'ai un logement indépendant (et non un hotel), une petite chambre de rien du tout, qui m'attend là bas.
Vu le temps qu il me reste a me préparer avant le départ, je pense laisser, à contre coeur, Dixie chez un ami en france, pendant trois mois avant de revenir la chercher autour de fin avril, une fois les papiers, vaccins prêts et le logement tout rafraîchi pour elle.
Je voulais savoir à l'avance qu'elles sont les conditions d'entrée d'un animal de compagnie sur le territoire marocain. J'ai regardé sur le site de l'ambassade du Maroc rien n'est indiqué ... Niveau psychologique est ce vraiment mauvais pour un chat de subir un choc de changement climatique ? Quelqu'un aurait vécu une expérience semblable avec un animal de compagnie au Maroc ? Pourrait il me donner des conseils et indications ?
Vu les centaines (x milliers plutot) de chats qui polluent Marrakech, et les grandes villes du Maroc, je ne pense pas qu'il y ait le moindre problème de survie pour l'espèce, le tien survivra, au moins à la météo !
Pour les papiers, pas d'innovation au Maroc, Le passeport international, et le certificat de bonne santé. rarement controlé dans le pays, mais souvent exigé à l'embarquement.

Au niveau démarches : il faut avoir un "passeport" pour le chat ; document fourni (moyennant finance) auprés d'un vétérinaire en France, en plus il faut un certificat de bonne santé de l'animal de moins de 4 jours en entrant au Maroc fourni également par le vétérinaire,
Si vous voyagez en avion il faut une cage de transport qui va en soute ou, peut etre ?, un sac de transport pour le chat que vous garderez en cabine, se renseigner aupres de la compagnie d'aviation (par exemple pas d'animaux sur Ryan Air, possible en payant sur la RAM ou Atlas Blue)
mon expérience concerne 2 chiens labradors sans trop de probleme sauf, en effet, l'été ou la chaleur est trop élevée pour eux, par exemple celui qui était la l'été dernier se brulait les pattes sur le sol en marchant l'apres midi en pleine chaleur, le chat doit pouvoir éviter de telles ballades dehors s'il est habitué à une "caisse",

Hummm, merci philippe, je prends bien note pour le passeport car elle n'en a pas. Au canada on n'en délivrait pas aux animaux ni de carnet de santé d'ailleurs : c'était une chose qui n'existe pas. Mais je vais m'informer demain après-midi chez le vétérinaire s'il peut me fournir un passeport français. Sinon je n'ai qu'un papier qui démontre qu'elle a un numéro d'identification, de la micropuce, je doute que ce soit suffisant. Je pense aussi, par la même occassion, de profiter de prendre un carnet de santé pour le au cas où.
Dixie, n'est pas trop du genre à sortir en dehors du domicile. Trop habituée a rester dans le confort des nids humains, je pense qu'elle ne risquera pas de se brûler les pattes en sortant.
Elle déja voyagé avec une petite cage en cabine, je lui donne un quart de somnifère prescrit par le vétérinaire pour la calmer pendant le vol.
Bonjour, on a notre maison de vacances à marrakech (enfin on a les clés le 29février!!) et on a des chats. je sais que tu peux emmener ton chat avec toi dans l'avion s'il fait moins de 5kgs, on en a vu l'autre jour sur Atlasblue Lyon-Marrakech, dans sa caisse. il pleurait au décollage et atterrissage, mais sinon çà allait. tu peux appeler n'importe quel service de douane d'aéroport pour te faire expliquer les conditions. Sinon, sur place, je suis sûr que c'est simple, je connais des résidents qui sont venus avec leur(s) chat(s). et pour ta question principale sur la chaleur, tu as une excuse si tu es québécois!? tu n'as pas l'habitude du chaud! Bien sûr que les chats sont très heureux au Maroc, on en voit partout et ils sont bien soignés, l'islam respecte beaucoup les chats, plus que les chiens, qui sont souvent des chiens de rue sauvages, qu'on empoisonne quelqufois quand ils deviennent trop nombreux. Les chats adorent ce climat chaud et sec. Le problème de Dixie, c'est plutôt de vagabonder à droite et à gauche, elle risque d'attirer d'autres chats et elle va avoir des problèmes - ou des maladies. il faut impérativement voir un vétérinaire avant ton départ et la vacciner, la faire opérer si tu as l'argent.. tu ne pourras pas toujours la protéger des contacts de ses congénères sur place.
Vous serez très heureux tous les 2 là-bas, Marrakech est une ville qui demande du temps pour la connaitre vraiment, et la vie sans chat c'est même pas envisageable!! Patrice et Marc, Grenoble

J'ai vu le véto, je lui ai fait faire son passeport et une prise de sang pour le test antirabbique, sinon elle a deja tous les vaccins donc ya pas trop de risque. Mais le test antirabbique prend du temps... fo attendre.
Je me demande même comment elle a pu rentrer en France sans ce test ! Tu as dû avoir de la chance, ou pas de contrôle, car c'est obligatoire depuis pas mal de temps !

Ce n'est pas mal comme différence climatique, il s'est b ien adapté, il restait au frais pendant les heures chaudes, c'est tout. Pas la peine de le tondre !!! Sa fourrure est aussi une protection contre la chaleur . Les chats indiens ne sont pas chauves !!!
Le vaccin antirabbique était obligatoire, deux mois avant le départ mais pas le test antirabbique. Le passeport n'était pas nécessaire non plus. L'échange entre France et Canada est beaucoup plus souple et facile. Sinon pour etre plus tranquille j'avais fait faire un certificat d'exportation d'animaux ( normalement utilisé pour le bétail !!! ). Ca a été quand je suis arrivé en france, je n'ai que brièvement été contrôlé, même s'il ont vu que ça ne ressemblait pas à une vache !

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

The project is simple:
