Descriptif du poste et missions : ATTENTION, le futur titulaire de ce poste devra être présent à Phuket avant le 12 novembre 2009. Il s’agit d’un poste à temps plein 24 heures /semaine du lundi au samedi. Le candidat devra disposer d’un pécule de départ afin de faire face aux premières dépenses : logement, véhicule, .. Dispensant des cours tous publics, tous niveaux, la personne que nous recherchons sera également amenée à enseigner dans des établissements scolaires ou universitaires de l’île, l’achat ou la location d’un véhicule (auto, scooter, …) est donc indispensable. Le professeur bénéficiera d'une assurance maladie hospitalisation (Bupa Blue Cross).
Compétences requises : Très bonne connaissance de l’anglais.
Le futur professeur devra faire preuve d’une grande flexibilité pour s’adapter aux changements de cours, d’horaires, de groupes, de lieux, etc… Il devra être capable d’enseigner à différents publics de tous âges et tous niveaux et disposer de réelles facultés d’adaptation et d’ouverture à des publics étrangers.

Il faut dire que ce genre d'annonce est plutot rare, mais j'ai vu egalement sur ce forum qu'une nouvelle ecole francaise va ouvrir a Phuket. Le probleme de beaucoup, c'est qu'ils veulent 2000 USD par mois plus les avantages en nature, etc.
J'avoue avoir hesite a postuler (j'aime bien Phuket), mais j'ai d'autres obligations au VN en ce moment et la date d'entree est un peu trop proche.
Il faut, bien entendu, avoir LES DIPLOMES REQUIS, ce qui est beaucoup moins evident Ne s'improvise pas prof de francais qui veut.😉😉😉😉😉😉
Je ne travaille pas pr bcp plus en France😉...mais en Thaïlande tu devras te payer ta sécu, tes nourritures expats de tps en tps...et puis je parlais pr moi (35000 bath à 2 c'est peu...à bientôt plus c'est vraiment trop peu...😉)
En effet, ca fait 9.5 USD de l'heure, soit 50 cts de plus que ce que je recois au VN. Vu la difference de niveau de vie Phuket / Can Tho, c'est effectivement tres peu. Pour subsiter en tant que prof, il faut trouver un maximum d'heures ici et la. 24 h semaine, ce n'est en fait qu'un gros mi-temps si on compare avec les quotas belges. (Nous, on travaille plus que les Francais 😉😉😉😉😉)

Ca s'appelle une exception qui confirme la règle. Il ne faut pas illusionner les lecteurs: à moins d'avoir une licence de FLE et parler anglais, il est pratiquement impossible de trouver du travail dans l'enseignement, et encore moins thaïlandais.
Cette annonce étant traitée par l'Alliance française, d'ailleurs, de même que les enseignants du Lycée de BKK sont soit recrutés par l'AEFE, soit sous contrat local: combien de personnes sont-elles donc concernées...?

Une chose m'intrigue : Le salaire minimum d'un expat n'est il pas de 50.000 bahts ? Si le salaire est en dessous, il n'y a pas de Work permit, me trompes-je ?😉

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.

5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland?
