Quelle coincidence, alors que je cherchais un moyen d'aller enseigner en Thailande je tombe sur ton message... Moi aussi je passe en ce moment le TEFL et compte partir vers le mois d'aout. combien coûte la formation et combien de temps elle dure, je vis à Paris et aimerais le passer.
En Thaïlande il y a beaucoup de voyageurs qui s'improvisent profs d'anglais, normal il y a beaucoup de demande.
Je crois qu'il y a pas mal de sites internet où tu peux trouver des postes à pourvoir http://www.emploi-international.org/, www.anyworkanywhere.com, www.gumtree.com entre autres, il me semble qu'il existe un site francophone d'offres d'emploi à Bangkok mais j'ai oublié l'adresse, tu peux la trouver en tapant Bangkok et offres d'emploi sur un moteur de recherches.
Ah et j'oubliais pour le français tu as aussi www.fdlm.org et www.fle.fr.😉

Il me semble que dans la pluspart des cas, si tu veux enseigner l'anglais tu es un peu mal paye au debut mais tu arrives vite a un bon salaire si tu bosses bien. Temoignage d'un ami a moi qui est parti la bas il y a 6 ans et n'est pas revenu!
Prof de francais, il me semble qu'il y a mois de demande mais aussi moins d'offre et c'est assez bien paye.
Quand tu enseignes en Thailande il est important de te rappeler que ton salaire est tres superieur au salaire des Thais (pour un meme poste dans le meme etablissment!!!). Il faut donc faire preuve de sensibilite a ce niveau la, si tu veux entretenir de bonnes relations avec tes collegues ainsi que te faire des amis Thais et ne pas evoluer que dans des cercles d'expats/touristes...
La culture et l'histoire Thai sont tres interessantes et enrichissantes. Profites bien de ton voyage, apprends et vis, et amuse toi en chemin...
coucou, moi je reviens il y a quelques jours de Bangkok ou je suis restée quelques semaine. Je repars en octobre avec une amie pour 6 mois minimum. Par contre je fais des tonnes de recherche en ce moment car j'aimerai enseigner le français la bas et j'aimerai savoir s'il faut un diplôme particulier pour avoir le droit d'enseigner. Alors le TOEFL, et non TEFL, je l'ai passé ainsi que le TOEIC. Ce sont des test d'aptitudes à la langue anglaise, reconnus mondialement.
Les 2tests sont similaires, si ce n'est que le TOEFL est reconnu pour être étudiant, et le TOEIC plutot pour travailler.
C'est des QCM sur la grammaire, le vocabulaire mais aussi des textes à lire, des photos, et des dialogues à écouter. Ce n'est pas difficile et ce n'est pas parcequ'on a un bon score que l'on est bilingue !!!
Pour pouvoir être prof à l'étranger, avoir le TOEFL ne suffit pas, d'une part car des millions de gens l'ont, et oui tous les étudiants d'école de commerce par exemple le passe, que ce n'est pas vraiment révélateur du niveau d'anglais, et qu'être prof ca exige beaucoup plus que ca.
Enfin voila, moi j'ai eu un très bon score au 2 tests, et pourtant je suis pas bilingue (même si j'ai un bon niveau).
D'un point de vue pratique, le test se passe quand vous voulez à l'étranger, ca coute dans les 150 ou 200 Euros, et en 3H c'est bouclé.
Voila, à bon entendeur, TOEFL n'est pas synonyme de Diplome de d'enseignant !!!!

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
