Bonjour à tous,
ça y est à 18 ans je me décide enfin à entreprendre un voyage en solo d'une durée indeterminée (environ 6 mois on va dire). Je réfléchis beaucoup en ce moment pour trouver un pays où partir, et là pouf ! j'ai vu un truc sur l'Equateur qui a l'air vraiment sympa.
Le but de mon voyage est de partir à l'aventure et je ne cherche pas du tout à "passer des vacances" dans en dormant dans des hotels de luxe... Je compte agir selon mes envies (quand cela est possible), c'est à dire ne rien (sauf 2-3 trucs) planifier mais plutot découvrir par moi-même. Normalement je partirai en fin d'année, disons entre Septembre et Novembre.
Bon le petit bémol c'est que même si je pense avoir assez d'argent pour entreprendre le voyage, j'aimerai bien trouver des petits jobs pour amortir mes coûts de voyage (d'ailleurs la vie est-elle chère ? svp). Je dis "petits boulots" car vu que je vais beaucoup bouger il ne faut rien qui me retienne.
Donc j'en appelle à ceux qui s'y connaissent :
-Est-il possible de trouver ces "jobs" dans ce pays ? J'ai vu qu'il y avait pas mal de fermes donc peut-être embauchent-ils ? Ah oui ne me parlez pas de woofing svp ça ne m'intéresse pas du tout ;).
-Si jamais vous avez des infos complémentaires sur ce pays ou sur un autre pays où mon voyage pourrait s'organiser selon mes envies, je suis preneur ;).
Je ne sais pas Etrefal, mais ce n'est pas ce que je cherche. Je cherche juste des jobs "courts", qui me rapporteront un peu d'argent sans qu'il y ai de paperasse ;).
Je sais bien qu'à 18 ans, on pense que tout est facile, que ceux et celles qui disent le contraire sont des vieux c..s mai permets-moi de te faire redescendre sur terre.
A part en UE (je parle des Français), on ne peut travailler à l'étranger sans permis de travail et donc tu dois passer par là. Ledit permis de travail est demandé par l'employeur éventuel AVANT ton arrivée dans le pays et donc tu ne peux te pointer et chercher du travail (légal). Evidemment il y a toujours la possibilité de se présenter comme touriste (en espérant que les autorités ne demandent rien au sujet de tes finances mais normalement tu devras justifier de tes ressources afin de pouvoir avoir visa) mais bosser au noir en Equateur ne te permettra même pas de gagner le sel de ta soupe. Et si tu tombes malade, si tu as besoin d'être hospitalisé, si tu as besoin d'aller chez le dentiste, tu feras quoi ? Oublie la sécu française et dans ce genre de pays, c'est marche ou crève. Ne compte pas aller pleurer au consulat français dès que tu auras un pet de travers !
A 18 ans, mon meilleur conseil est de continuer l'école et de redescendre sur terre !
(PS: j'ai quelques 30 ans d'expatriation, dans plusieurs pays et donc je peux te dire qu'on ne part pas comme ça, la fleur aux dents ;))

merci de me répondre. Je prends bien compte de tout ce que tu m'as dis, mais ce voyage me tient à cœur, et je le ferai tôt ou tard. Après ok si je peux pas bosser tant pis, je vais réduire la durée du voyage en même temps.
Ensuite oui je pars un peu la fleur aux dents comme tu dis, mais c'est un peu ça l'aventure aussi :). Si je planifie tout, autant partir en croisière Costa, ça reviendra presque au même... Et oui je n'ai que 18 ans, mais il faut un début à tout ;).
Après tout que l'on ait 18 ou 40 ans, un premier voyage reste un premier voyage.
Non je ne continuerai pas l'école (ça fait un moment que je l'ai arrêté d'ailleurs...):).

Loin de moi, l'idée de vous dissuader d'aller découvrir l'Equateur, un pays que je connais bien et que j'apprécie.
Mais deux questions se posent:
Pour vivre réellement dans ce pays, il faut parler l'espagnol. Sinon, vous resterez un touriste, un jeune gringo.
Vous avez conscience du prix des billets d'avion AR France-Equateur? Bien sur, vous avez l'intention de partir hors saison, c'est moins cher que l'été ou à Noel, mais cela reste quand même cher.
Quelques remarques:
Pour des petits boulots, je ne voudrais pas vous décourager, mais la monnaie là-bas est le dollar US depuis l'année 2000.
Beaucoup d'équatoriens travaillent dans le secteur informel ("les petits boulots") pour survivre alors, un jeune gars gringo?
A vrai dire, on ne vous attend pas!
Certes, il est facile de se déplacer. Les transports routiers sont efficaces et économiques. C'est bien pour découvrir le pays.
Mais la vie là-bas n'est pas forcément donnée et avec la chute de l'euro par rapport au dollar, séjourner en Equateur, n'est pas économique.

sinon dans ces pays le salaire smic tourne autour de 150/200 euros par mois.Et mise à part le visa de travaille, ils vont pas s'embêter à embaucher un "touriste"/voyageur.A moins d'avoir des compétences ex rabatteurs pour une boutique de souvenirs car tu connais plusieurs langues.
Après tu maîtriserais l'anglais tu pourrais donner des cours particuliers.

Danyflore non vous ne me dissuaderez point :) cependant je prends en compte vos remarques. Je sais me faire comprendre en Espagnol, je suis assez limité c vrai mais je connais le plus important, et oui je connais le prix des billets d'avion, mais voilà je préfère claquer des sous pour un voyage que pour des fringues ou des clopes par exemple...
Ensuite oui je sais désormais que pour trouver du taf c'est cuit, tant pis. Par contre on ne m'a pas dit que ce n'était pas économique de vivre là-bas, bien au contraire. Environ 25 USD suffisent par jour, c pas énorme je trouve.

Je ne sais pas si tu parle anglais. Je suis à Quito actuellement et j'ais croisé un allemand qui a trouvé un travail dans un hotel en échange du logement et de la nourriture. Par contre à Quito avant cela pouvait se faire de travailler dans des hostel, mais maintenant c'est très contrôlé et ils embauchent quasiment seulement des équatoriens. Ils protègent assez fortement l'emploi, du coup à moins de trouvé quelques combines (qui se font de plus en plus rares) ou d'avoir des compétences particulières (et de se tapper pas mal de paperasse), c'est compliqué.
Sinon avec 25$ je pense que c'est pas mal (mais pour moi ça représente quand même un coût, la Bolivie est bien moins cher par exemple). Bien que ça fasse un mois que je vis à Quito je suis surpris de voir que pas mal de produits sont au moins aussi cher qu'en France, en plus il n'existe pas de Liddle ou autre. Par contre le gros point positif se sont les bus qui ne coûtent vraiment pas cher (environ 1$ pour une heure de bus).
Bon voyage à toi en tout cas, c'est un très beau pays avec beaucoup de diversités (que se soit en terme de paysages ou de cultures) !

Travailler est possible dans certains bars ou restaus, notamment sur la cote ou à Banos. Salaire: 2$ de l'heure.
Sinon tu peux faire du volontariat dans des hostels: tu auras alors le logement gratuit, éventuellement quelques repas.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
