Sinon est ce qu'il y a un temple en france qui peux m'ordonner moine. Merci de vos reponses.
Je cherchais moi aussi a passer un sejour en monastere en Thailande mais pas pour me faire ordonner, juste pour decouvrir et vivre un mode de vie.

Sur place, je vous conseillerais d'entrer en contact avec un centre d'initiation ( Wat Mahathat à BKK par exemple).
Je vous suggère de commencer par des "stages d'initiation".
Ils sont délivrés en anglais, et vous permettront dans vos temps libres d'apprendre le thaï dans une autre structure en même temps, ce qui me paraît essentiel.
De plus, on n'entre pas dans la communauté d'un seul pas.
En Thaïlande, on effectue souvent une retraite de novice qui commence en juillet. Je ne porte pas de jugement sur votre souhait, mais ce pays offre justement le moyen de pratiquer cette foi tout en restant dans la communauté civile: vous avez apparemment une femme et une fille, de surcroît thaïs...
Seul le Supérieur du Temple de toute façon peut décider de vous faire avancer dans cette voie.
La participation à une formation officielle vous permet de demander un visa "Non immigrant ED", soit 90j+30.

Il n'est nul besoin de parler Thai, même si c'est sûr que c'est un plus, de plus en plus de moine parlent un peu ou très bien anglais, là aussi tout dépends ou tu tombe ^^
J'ai eu la chance de séjouner dans un temple l'année dernière qui était perdu au fin fond de la cambrousse thai et une none parlait parfaitement anglais ^^
Si tu veux plus de précision sur ce temple je peux t'envoyer les coordonnées par MP (mais je te prévient il faut prendre un bus pendant 4h ou 6h de bkk et ensuite un taxi durant 30 mn et c'est vraiment la campagne ^^).
Il ne te demande pas d'argent après libre à toi de faire un don pr les aider !
Pourquoi cette démarche en Thaïlande et pas en Birmanie par exemple?😉

pour devenir bonze ou rester dans un temple ce n'est pas bien difficile puisque tout thai bouddhiste passe au moins une fois dans sa vie .. ce qui veut dire que ils ont le sens de l'hospitalité et l'infrastructure .. de réceptions .

Je vous souhaite bonne route, même si je pense qu'avant de se consacrer au bonheur des autres il faut se consacrer au sien (ce qui d'ailleurs peut passer par une communauté monastique).
Un bonze répondit un jour qu'il l'était devenu pour échapper à la prison, toutes les raisons "d'échapper" existent donc, sans juger si elles ont justes ou pas.
En tout cas ce passage est souvent bénéfique, et même traditionnel dans ce pays.🙂

Juste une petite précision: ma p'tite remarque piquante sur le "Bouddhabuisness" ne t'était pas destinée. Je pense que tu l'as bien compris. Elle s'adressait plus à notre ami Nicoensakado, et même pas particulièrement à lui 😉, mais plus au site qu'il te proposait. Ce site recrute sur Facebook, alors je suis sceptique quand aux enseignements qu'il donne, en plus à 700 USD par mois j'en connais un qui doit se retourner dans sa tombe... 🤪
En ce qui concerne ta recherche, si tu veux, je peux te filer en privé le mail d'un moine thaï qui parle parfaitement bien l'anglais et qui ordonne des moines farang. J'ai passé quelques temps dans son monastère (en tant que laïc) et il "suivait" un moine américain, un moine brésilien, un autrichien et une multitude de thaïs. A l'époque, il officiait dans un monastère situé entre Chiang Raï et Chiang Maï, mais il me semble qu'il a bougé un peu.
Pour ce qui est de la Birmanie, il est tout à fait possible de devenir moine aussi là-bas. Si le "n°1" d'un monastère le souhaite, il n'aura aucun problème à t'obtenir un visa spécial.

Le Wat Umong de Chiang Mai a accepté ma requête mais je ne connais personne là bas, je ne me fie qu'à mon intuition.
J'y vais au mois de septembre 2013.
Je ne comprends pas bien la procédure pour le visa.
Je crois comprendre qu'il faut un visa religieux d'un an pour rester et que l'ordination de moine est une obligation.
Mais certaines personnes disent que le supérieur du temple peut se débrouiller pour transformer un visa touristique en visa religieux.
