avec un collegue nous voyageons depuis 6 mois (actuellement au laos) et en ce moment on sature totalement de faire du tourisme. en effet, au debut du voyage on courrait de partout pour faire le maximum de chose a voir dans un pays. actuellement c est donc plein de questions exitentielles qui nous tarode le cerveaux surtout apres quelques experiences que nous avons eut avec les populations locales notament au cambodge.
a l origine nous devions parcourir toute l asie du sud est, mais avancer pour avancer et aller voir les cascades, temples etc ca va bien un moment.
nous allons donc a bangkok pour prendre un avion soit pour la birmanie soit pour l inde.
en effet, la seule raison qui nous fera aller en birmanie est de faire de l humanitaire. mais bon la je n y crois pas trop car nous devrions decoller dans environ 2-3 semaines et je pense que c est un peu limite point de vu timing. mais si quelqu un a des infos qu il n hesite pas.
dans tout les cas nous allons en inde et c est donc principalement pour ce pays que je fais appel a vous. nous recherchons dans tous les domaines une associations prete a accueillir 2 francais vraiment pret a tout pour aider les plus demunis.
nous devrions arriver dans le pays en janvier ou fevrier et notre duree de sejour dependra des actions que l on peut realiser sur place.

Je ne sais pas à quel point c'est facile de trouver du travail dans le domaine humanitaire une fois sur place, et ce malgré les besoins évidents. je viens au nouvelles pour te donner 2-3 infos sur l huamnitaire ne inde. par contre ca ne concerne que calcutta.
nous avons commence par travailler avec le centre de mere theresa (avec des enfant handicapes pour ce qui nous concerne). ils prennesnt tt le monde.
sinon on commence demian avec l association assalayam qui s occupe de senfants des rue. la il demande un certains temps d engagement (au moins 2 mois) mais c est negociable.
sinon je sais qu a mc leode il est aussi possible de trouver facilement et egalement dans touts les centres de mere theresa en inde.

En fait, je ne suis pas aller en Birmanie donc pas d'humanitaire dans ce pays. De la thaillande je suis aller directement en Inde ou j'ai par contre travaillé pour deux associations à Calcutta.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
