Je souhaite partir en Roumanie durant les trois premières semaines de septembre 2007 afin de proposer mon aide à des associations humanitaires dans le domaine de l'eau (ressource, acheminement...). Etudiant en master hydrogéologie, j'aimerai mettre à profit mes connaissances et surtout mon envie d'aider les gens sur un projet humanitaire mais je ne sais pas vers qui me tourner et où me renseigner. Pourriez vous m'aider dans ma recherche en m'informant et m'aiguillant sur les projets en cours ou futurs en Roumanie.

je suis présidente d'une association qui travaille avec des enfants roms défavorisés en Roumanie. Nous sommes une asso culturelle mais les besoins humanitaires ici nous ont poussé à faire déja deux puits dans le village ce qui ne suffit pas aux besoins de l'entiere communauté (450 personnes dont plus de 180 enfants) Nous travaillons actuellement sur l'ouverture d'une école et nous réflechissons sur les solutions pour amener l'eau à l'école (1er puit à plus de 700m) Nous pensons en faire un autre mais ai-ce vraiment necessaire, tes connaissances pourrait nous etre utiles, contactes moi si ce projet t'interesses.
Tout d'abord, je tenais à te féliciter pour l'action que tu mênes dans ce village en Roumanie avec ton association. Je suis moi même président d'une association étudiante à l'université Bordeaux 1 et je connais les difficultés pour monter un projet comme celui-la.
Le projet dont tu me parle me plait mais j'aimerai avoir un peu plus de détail. (le nom de ton asso, le nom du village, sa localisation....et plein d'autres choses).

Bon, j'ai eu le temps de me renseigner un peu. Il s'avère que le prix d'un puit est très variable en fonction de la profondeur de celui-ci et de la nature du sol. Il me faudrai plus de renseignement à se niveau la. (par exemple, il existe une méthode pour réaliser un puit d'environ 8-10m dans du sable qui ne coute que le prix d'une boule de pétanque et d'une cloche en fer. Je ne l'ai jamais pratiqué mais des amis l'on fait et le résultat est tout à fait acceptable).
Apparement, les deux puits ne suffisent pas pour tous le village. La construction d'un troisième puit n'est donc pas inutile à moins qu'il soit possible d'augmenter le volume d'eau pompé.
Voila, pour le moment je ne peux pas en dire plus mais donne moi plus d'informations et je verrai ce que je peux faire.
Tu devrais proposer un micro projet à l'association Nadara avec laquelle je travaille depuis un bout de temps. Ils sont très sympas, ont très peu de moyens, ce qui n'est pas un mal puisque cela permet à tous d'être les véritables concepteurs-acteurs des opérations menées dans le village dans lequel ils interviennent en Transylvanie.
Et qui sait, peut-être nous retrouverons-nous un jour là-bas !
En fait j'ai déja pris contact avec l'association. Normalement c'est ok pour qu'ils m'acceuillent début septembre.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
