Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines durant les Fêtes de cette année au Daiquiri. Site absolument extra. Rien à redire. Le personnel est charmant, toujours souriant et très serviable. Le site est très propre, piscine très belle mais l'eau un peu froide!!
La nourriture excellente, vin servi aux dîner et souper. Beaucoup d'activités avec l'équipe d'animation le personnel n'insiste pas si vous ne désirez pas participer.
Nous avons vu 12 spectacles sur 14, il y a environ 9 ou 10 shows de dance différents. Les jeunes sont vraiment de bons danseurs!!! La plage est belle, l'eau turquoise et peu profonde, l'eau est chaude, super plaisant!!! Cependant, plage très peu large mais toutefois longue pour prendre de belles marches.
Tout est disponible à cet hotel, la banque (très pratique) pour changer vos $ en pesos convertibles et sans frais de commissions qui sont chargés au lobby de l'hôtel.
C'est un endroit hyper tranquille pour se reposer et c'est ce que nous recherchions. NOus y retournerons sans hésiter.
Comment avez-vous trouvé le comfort de la chambre? Tranquille? (bien insonorisé??) (est-ce que les 'débarbouillettes' sont fournies?) Et puis...comment avez vous trouvé les restaurants?? (buffet et à la carte) Nous apprécierions vos commentaires, nous y séjournerons au début de l'été prochain. Merci ;-)
🙂Les chambres sont assez spacieuses, 2 lits 2/4, salle de bains complète, sèche-cheveux, petit réfrigirateur avec 2 bouteilles d'eau à chaque jour. Débarbouillettes fournies 1 fois sur deux. NOus avions deux chambres alors je prenais les débarbouillettes de mes ados!!
Les matelas sont un peu mous, mais pour la propreté, rien à redire. La femme de chambre lave le plancher à tous les jours.
Nous n'avons pas utilisé les 2 restaurants à la carte (Cubain et Mexicain) Il fallait faire la file entre 10 h 00 et 12 h00 et je vous avoue, que nous aimions mieux profiter du beau temps. De toute façon, la nourriture du buffet est excellente. Beaucoup de fruits de mer: moules, crevettes, langoustes....Salades variées, pâtes, pizzas, boeuf, porc, poulet, paëla...beaucoup de bons desserts, crème glacée...Il y en a pour tous les goûts, vraiment rien à redire.
Tout correct à cet hôtel. Même les marchands de souvenirs, c'est pas cher! Pour 4 - 5 pesos convertibles, vous pouvez obtenir des objets en bois. Les plus chers 10 - 20 pesos au max!!!
Cayo Guillermo est un endroit merveilleux. Nous y retournerons, c'est certain.
Comment était la piscine ? Est-ce qu'il y avait des enfants (11-12 ans) sur le site. Je planifie mes vacances d'été avec ma fille de 12 ans et c'est très important pour elle d'avoir d'autres jeunes.
🙂Pendant les vacances de Noel, il y avait des enfants surtout des petits 4-8 ans. Durant les deux semaines, nous avons vu peut-être 3 ou 4 enfants d'environ 11-12 ans. Mes garçons sont ados, cela ne représentait pas de problème pour eux. Pour ma petite fille, ( 9 ans 1/2), elle préférait rester à la plage ou à la piscine avec nous. Il y a un club pour les enfants. Les animatrices s'occupent des jeunes en anglais principalement. Si votre fille n'est pas timide, c'est ok le mini-club bien sûr s'il y a des jeunes de son âge dans la période que vous irez.
C'est connu, période assez dispendieuse durant les fêtes, c'est peut-être la raison pour laquelle nous n'avons pas vu vraiment beaucoup d'enfants.
Quand nous y sommes allés en décembre 2004 (pendant les fêtes) il faisait 23 à 26 le jour et environ 20 le soir. Le soir, c'est préférable de porter un petit gilet en coton ouaté. À Cayo Guillermo c'est très venteux durant les mois de décembre et janvier. Mais du côté température nous n'avons pas eu à nous pleindre car sur 14 jours nous avons eu 11 jours de soleil et 3 jours nuageux, 3 minutes de pluie!
Pour le reste, à l'Hôtel c'est carrément super. Nourriture très correcte et beaucoup de choix. La chaîne Ibérostar est de qualité supérieure. Les animateurs sont supers gentils et drôles, pas achalants.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). Is the latter one reliable?
