Jeune infirmier, je me lance dans un projet de travail et de vie à l'étranger.
Le Mexique est ma destination, si possible d'ici 1 an, le temps de faire les papiers et apprendre l'espagnol ! L'humanitaire m'a toujours attiré, d'autant plus après une mission au Cambodge il y a 4 ans, ce serait donc une super opportunité d'en refaire tout en découvrant la vie sur place, l'environnement et l'exercice infirmier.
Pouvez vous me conseiller des organismes humanitaires actifs vers Mexico city ? Certains d'entre vous sont-ils déjà parti vivre la bas ? Est- il possible de démarcher les hôpitaux en avance ou conseillez vous de le faire sur place directement ?

Je suis dans le même cas que toi, je suis tout juste diplômée infirmière et j'aimerai partir en mission au Mexique mais si possible à partir de mars.
Pour l'instant le seul organisme par lequel je peux passer est "Projects Abroad", je t'invite donc à les consulter si cela n'est pas déjà fait. Bon courage dans tes recherches et ton apprentissage de l'espagnol !

Je peux comprendre votre colère quant à ce qu'ils proposent mais je dis simplement que au niveau humanitaire au Mexique mis à part eux qui ont répondu les recherches n'avancent pas très vite. Si vous pouviez alors me donner des pistes plutôt que de détruire celle que j'ai, j'en serai ravie ! Car si je demande des informations supplémentaire sur ce sujet c'est peut être que les réponses que j'ai pu recevoir ne me paraissent pas adaptées à mon projet.
Alors si vous avez des informations concernant le sujet principal qui est quand même l'humanitaire au Mexique j'espère que vous les partagerez. Je pense que cela m'aiderai plus que de débattre/critiquer Projects Abroad.
Je ne suis pas en colère et je ne critique pas "Project Abroad" mais je dénonce simplement une entreprise. Je ne suis pas le seul, des reportages ont déjà montré les excès de cette entreprise.
Et écrire que vous n'avez rien avoir avec project abroad, est risible et c'est se moquer des lecteurs de ce forum! Cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas vu sur ce forum les commerciaux de Project Abroad! Les méthodes ont changées, mais le discours reste le même! Vous nous avez pas fait le coup du "c'est cher, mais quel service!!"
Une petite question? Vous partez combien de temps et pour quel prix au Mexique avec cet organisme?

Etes-vous sourd ? je ne fait pas partie de projects abroad et je n'ai rien "booké" avec eux car j'ai eu une réponse certes mais que ne me paraissait pas adaptée (on me donne simplement la ville de la mission et de résidence mais pas de mission précise...)
Je suis simplement une jeune diplômée infirmière et j'espère partir au Mexique en mars pour 4 à 6 mois
J'ai également contacté Gingko mais toujours pas de réponse..et je suis aussi passée par les groupes des Français au Mexique sur Facebook pour avoir plus de renseignements etc.. ce qui ne m'a pas beaucoup aidé non plus pour le moment...

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
