Infirmier polyvalent depuis maintenant 8 ans sur France et Suisse, je pars pour un voyage à but personnel avec mon amie, dans la région du Kérala, et du Tamil Nadu .
Nous y serons du 11 janvier 2006, jusqu'au 23 juin 2006 .
Nous sommes ouverts à toute proposition de bénévolat .
Nous avons déjà quelques pistes, mais quelques autres recoupant les notres seraient les bienvenues...

Ecoute nous on part le 17 janvier pendant un mois et demi et on pensais passer dans el sud mais on était pas encore sur de notre itinéraire, alors jme dis qu'on pourrait venir t'aider pendant une semaine ou deux (on a pas vraiment plus de temps malheureusement) si tu me dis un peu en quoi consiste ton travail la-bas.

D'une part, afin de prendre nos marques, nous faisons halte 10 jours sur Mombay
(du 11/01 au 20 ).
Puis nous allons sur Puné oû j'ai deux adresses : une de l'UNICEF qui peut me proposer des missions en volontariat .😇 une d'un centre d'étude de médecine traditionnelle ayurvédique (pour y commencer des études).🤪
Si jamais je ne trouve pas réponse là-bas, nous avons également d'autres adresses au Kérala .

C'est parfait nous on arrive à Bombay le 17! Je pense qu'on pourait se croiser à Bombay et eventuellement aller à Puné ensemble (c'est sur notre chemin) ou quelque chose comme ca! Si jamais nous on est deux jeunes genevois de 18-19 ans on a prévu d'aller à goa et ensuite dans le sud peut-être vers kerala c'est pas encore sur.

C'est pourquoi je vous envoie, les deux adresses oû nous pourrions nous croiser .
Je les ai trouvé sur ce forum je crois, mais on les trouve également sur le guide du routard .
Donc le quartier le plus sympa d'après plusieurs personnes serait : Colaba .
Les deux hotels où nous serons sont ceux là : Bentley's Hotel (www.bentleyshotel.com), plutôt bon marché (8 à 16 euros), au "calme", mais à la devanture et à l'intérieur vieillots et un peu délabrés . Garden Hotel (gardenhotel@hotmail.com), moins bon marché (30 à 50 euros), mais dans un p'tit coin sympa, avec quelques services annexes bien pratiques .
Alors si vous venez là-bas, nous y serons du 11/01 au 21/01 à peu près .Présentez vous et demandez Stéfane Grand (a french people) .

a present en Inde, je vous informe d'une part que pour faire de l'humanitaire, no problemo 😉 .
Toutes les associations sur place ont un cruel besoin de dons de differentes formes .Nous etions ce matin encore chez les soeurs Theresa...
Mais, au dela de toute bonne volonte, si votre demarche reste realiste et que vous avez le coeur et les tripes bien accrochees alors ce ne sera pas invivable (...et encore...)🤪.
Pour les autres preferez le tourisme, votre voyage n'en sera que plus agreable .
Alors que faisons nous ?
Et bien nous devons assister a l'inaugruation d'un centre pour enfants handicapes sur Bombay, nous ne pouvions donc rester chez les soeurs .
Et si ce projet nous depasse, nous irons a nouveau aider un peu les soeurs ou bien nous irons donner un coup de main ailleurs .
Voila Sinon pour les deux jeunes suisses qui doivent venir sur Bombay, il va sans doute etre tres dur de se retrouver .
C'est pourquoi nous vous souhaitons un agreable sejour ici, in Mother India !!!

Je recherche une association ou un organisme pour faire du volontatriat de quelques mois a plus d'un an en inde et ce pas forcément en me limitant a mon métier d'infirmiere.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
