Je suis infirmière depuis 4ans, j'ai exercé pendant 3 ans en chirurgie et depuis le début de l'année je pratique mon métier au domicile des patients.
Je souhaiterais trouver une mission de quelques mois au Cameroun pour découvrir les pratiques médicales et travailler avec l'équipe locale. Je ressens le besoin de changer d'horizons!
J'ai pu voir certaines associations sur le net mais c'est souvent pour être bénévole hors moi je souhaiterais être rémunéré de manière à avoir un peu d'argent quand je reviendrais en France!!
Pouvez-vous me renseigner un peu? Y a-t-il des IDE qui sont déjà partis ou qui ont le projet de partir au Cameroun?

Quand tu seras au Cameroun, il te sera plus facile de postuler sur place. Il y a de nombreuses structures médicales, bcp sont privées. Tu peux commencer par la fondation Chantal Biya, puis, essaie auprès des autres fondations comme la fondation Fouda, les cliniques, etc...
Ce n'est pas évident car, tes futus employeurs, même s'ils auront besoin de toit, seront un peu gênés à t'embaucher parce que tu viens de France... Ils auraient l'impression qu'ils t'insultent, s'ils te proposent un salaire camerounais, alors que ton salaire français serait largement supérieur...Bref, ton obstacle serait le salaire. C'est à toi de les rassurer
Sinon, ce que tu peux faire, c'est de voir sur place, si tu peux ouvrir une petite structure, dans un quartier, pour soigner des habitants : des peites bobos par exemple... Par contre, il faurdrait d'abord rencontrer le ministère de la santé. C'est dommage que le travail social ne soit pas encore comme ici, je t'aurais accompagner pour quo'n crée quelque chose ensemble, moi, en tant qu'Assistante sociale. J'ai égalment une formation et une expérience en comptabilité-gestion d'entreprise...
J'ai un ami qui est dentiste, il a un cabinet au marché central de Ydé, si cela t'interesse, je te donnerai ses coordonnées et tu iras lui proposer tes services (de ma part)
Je te remercie pour toutes ces infos mais le probleme est que l'ambassade ne me délivrera pas de visa long séjour sans promesse d'embauche ou contrat. Si je pars faire des recherches là bas je n'aurais droit qu'a un visa touristique (1mois), c'est pour cela que je voulais trouver quelque chose avant de partir.
Après je sais très bien que le salaire n'est pas le même et je pourrais très bien m'y adapter puisque la vie est moins cher qu'ici.
L'idéal serait de partir avec une association française mais en général dans celles ci on ne choisit pas son pays et moi c'est plus le CAMEROUN qui m'intéresse et plus spécialement YAOUNDE.
Et puis monter quelque chose là bas pourquoi pas mais je n'ai que 4 ans de diplôme et je ne m'en sens pas capable pour le moment.
Je comprends ton problème.... Tu es dans quel pays en ce moment? Si tu es à Paris, je t'enverrai voir une personne qui saura mieux t'aider pour le visa...
As-tu contacté le HCR sur Yaoundé? L'ennui c'est que je ne connais pas les ong sur place

Durant mes années d'études j'ai eu l'occasion de faire un stage en humanitaire qui m'a enrichi personnellement au point de vouloir retenter l'expérience.

Il disait que le centre reçoit, chaque jour, 400 personnes, pour des vaccins, et autres. Le centre Pasteur travaille sur 3 axes : la santé, le service et la recherche... bon, ce n'est qu'une idée, à vous de voir.

I’m planning to spend two months in Morocco from January 19, 2027, to March 13, 2027. I’ll be traveling in a truck, so I’ll be mobile.
I’d love to offer my time as a volunteer to perform a show that’s suitable for all audiences (kids and adults) in village squares. I’d also like to visit hospitals and orphanages as a clown.
My route will start in Nador, then head down to Merzouga, before making my way to the coast either above or below Agadir. Toward the end of my trip, I’ll return to Zagora and Merzouga before leaving from either Nador or Tangier.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
