Après un bon moment de réflexion, je me lance dans ce récit auprès de vous, afin de vous demander vos avis et votre aide.
Sachez avant tout qu'il s'agit qu'une vraie démarche de ma part, très sérieuse et bien réfléchie.
J'ai 33 ans et après plusieurs années en tant que cadre, ayant quelques sous de côté, et la volonté d'entreprendre quelque chose qui en vaille la peine, j'ai décidé de passer le pas de l'expatriation. Mais avant le pas, il y a la recherche et la préparation.
Pour que vous ayez le contexte, je suis en couple, avec un bébé, et nous avons un couple de très bons amis (dont l'une déjà habituée à entrepreneuriat) qui ont la même envie, toujours bien réfléchie.
L'idée serait que moi et cette amie partions en repérage dans les pays choisis (Brésil, Guatemala, ou Nicaragua) afin de voir le potentiel d'y ouvrir un commerce.
L'idée du moment est un hôtel/restaurant mais je suis ouvert à d'autres propositions, car il parait que c'est (bien entendu) saturé.
Nous aurions actuellement un budget d'environ 100 000€, et aimerions avancer sur le projet d'ici 6-12 mois.
Pour en venir à l'essentiel de ma d"marche auprès de vous, j'aurais besoin de vos conseils sur plusieurs sujets :
- Quels pays vous semblent les plus opportuns pour ce type d'aventure ?
- Quel budget vous semble le minimum pour monter son affaire ? combien prévoir pour vivre sur place (selon le pays choisi bien sur) le temps que l'affaire se lance ?
- Avez-vous déjà voyagé dans ces pays et quels types de commerces vous semblent les plus porteurs ?
- Des personnes ici ont-elles déjà franchi le pas, et pourraient-elles me conseiller ?
En fait, tous les conseils, critiques, reproches ou avertissements seraient les bienvenus !

tout d'abord merci pour votre retour et ces précisions !
En effet notre idée est de repérer un endroit pas encore assailli par le tourisme (car locaux trop chers) mais à forts potentiels de développement. Nous avons un budget max de 100 000€ tout compris (comptant les frais pour vivre le temps que le commerce soit rentable) donc nous devons bien nous renseigner et en effet une location n'est pas une mauvaise idée pour commencer à moindre risque, merci !
Avez-vous une idée des prix de locations d'un local (en fonction de la superficie / localité bien sur) ?
Est-ce compliqué pour un expatrié de monter son affaire ? je sais par exemple qu'en Asie il faut s'associer avec les habitants locaux, et donc le bien ne nous appartient pas vraiment.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
