On aimerait retrouver nos amis le soir du vendredi 29 mai à Essaouira pour y passer la nuit, et de passer la soirée du samedi 30 mai à Oualidia.
Enfin, nous rentrerons à Marrakech le dimanche 31 mai au soir pour profiter du lundi 1er juin et de la journée du mardi 2juin (on décolle en fin d'après midi).

Comment vous semble cet itinéraire ? Y a-t-il des étapes à supprimer pour être plus « cool » ? Connaissez-vous les distances/temps entre nos différentes étapes ? Dans quelles villes faut-il dormir ? Les logan coûtent 21 euros la journée, mais c'est du bas de gamme. Je pense que c'est correct pour ce que vous avez loué.

Chez medloc sans aucuns soucis, en plus tu peux avoir pour cette période un clio climatisée, bien confortable et économique moi je l'ai louée pour 30 euros par jours pour une période de dix jours(en février), bonne vacances et bon voyage...
C'est un beau parcours, mais franchement, je serai vous je maintiendrai l'étape de Merzouga.
La Mer, Le Desert, Les Montagnes...la beauté de la nature.
Supprimer le desert, sa serait dommage.
Comme dit Ifni, oui étape de merzouga désert de l'erg chebbi à ne pas manquer, ça vaut vriment le détour, endroit magique.... moi je supprimerais plutôt Agadir !!! bon voyage.
C'est un de mes endroits préférés dans le sud du Maroc. La palmeraie fait quelque 25 km carrés, les paysages merveilleux et hétéroclites.
Pour les balades, laissez-vous égarer entre les vergers, les petits villages et les kasbah.
Il faut t'en tenir à un seul itinéraire, tracer les grandes lignes puis peaufiner les détails.
Et Skoura, c'est bien. Et Taroudant pareil. Combien de temps y consacrer? personne ne te donnera une réponse concrète, ça relève du subjectif.

Moi je suis capable de passer 3 ou 4 jours à Tarroudant sans dommage, il faut dire que je ne lasse d'aucun souk dans les quartiers d'artisans .
Comme je peux passer 10 jours à Skoura, chez mes amis Abdlmoula et Aziz, avec un vélo, et n'avoir aucune envie d'en repartir !

je reviens de 10 jours au Maroc (TRES BEAU voyage) et j'ai passé aussi du temps chez Talout à Skoura : l'hôtel est très beau, très confortable, pas du tout du genre à t'en mettre plein la vue, mais des détails plein de charme. Et la terasse ! Sans oublier la nourriture qui est excellente !!!! C'est la meilleure table de mon séjour là-bas !
Niveau ballade, nous avons passé une belle journée à se perdre dans la palmeraie, aller visiter une kasbah.... mais pas fait beaucoup plus (je suis tombée malade le lendemain). Mais je sais qu'il y a un centre équestre à qqs km qui te propose des randonnées.
Et de là bas, si tu es en voiture (ce qui n'étais pas notre cas), tu peux aller vers la vallée des Roses en faisant un allé-retour dans la journée.

j4 : El Kella : j'y étais fin avril et les distillerie de roses n'était pas encore ouverte... dommage. Ballade vers Bou-Tarhar. Nous aurions mieux fait d'y passer la nuit car c'est vraiment superbe par là-bas mais on a du repartir à pied pour trouver un taxi (2h30 de marche !) mais vraiment à voir + allez chez TAMALOUT (très sympa)
j5 : direction les gorges du dadés (une nuit sur place : magnifique)
j6 : ballade dadès + retour à Boulmane pour prendre un bus tôt le lendemain
j7 : BUS de Boulmane à Marrakech puis jusqu'à Essaouira !
j8 : Essaourira
j9 : Essaouira + départ à Marrakech
j10 : marrakech et départ vers la France
On a pas mal bougé donc... le tout en transport en commun. Perso 3 nuits chez Talout c'était trop long mais uniquement parce qu'on avait pas de voiture. Après, ça nous a fait du bien, et ça m'a permis d'être malade dans un bon lit.
Mais le vrai conseil c'est de passer une nuit au moins chez Tamalout à Bou-Tarhar d'où il y a de très belles ballades à faire (nous étions frustrées de devoir repartir).
Pas de Ait - Benhaddou pour nous, ni même de désert car en transport c'était trop long.
Vraiment, le Sud marocain est superbe. Tu as de la chance !

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
