Kanta Lodge, opened in 2009, is an eco-lodge perched on a hill overlooking the Konso region in southern Ethiopia. Its name, "Kanta," means a traditional neighborhood or division within a Konso village. This name reflects the lodge’s deep local roots and its close connection to the community’s social structure.

The lodge offers spectacular views of the terraced hills that Konso is famous for. The rooms are traditional *toukouls*—compact and typical of Konso architecture—blending authentic charm with environmental respect.
