bonjour à tous!! nos partons a marrakech le 16 avril pour une semaine.nous vooulons sortir de marrakech ( ourika, ouarzazate etc.) nous sommes en train de faire notre petit programme mais on se demander s'il vallait mieux passer par une agence ( style pampa voyage : agence d'excursions) ou se debrouiller par nous meme su place. on est un peu perdu
et une autre question: peut on et est ce conseiller de se baigner dans les plans d'eau proche des cascades d'ouzoud??

Nous sommes allés au Maroc fin février, en club à Marrakech.Nous avons fait les excursions avec le club, mais franchement on peut les faire tout seul.
A part la visite de marrakech avec un guide, ce qui permet de s'orienter, et de faire un repérage, nous aurions pu faire le reste tout seul.
La location d'une voiture marrakech, essaouira (à faire absolument, lieu magique, totalement différent de marrakech), coute avec le gasoil environ 70 euros la journée. On peut également prendre un taxi, qui coutera après négociation dans les 60 euros la journée.
Nous avons fait également la vallée de L'ourika en 4*4, paysages superbes. Par le club, çà nous a couté une fortune, et avec un taxi, çà aurait pu nous couter 50euros maxi.
On peut prendre petit ou grand taxi à marrakech. Les tarifs sont de 1, 50 pour faire le tour de la ville. De toute façon, il faut négocier, tout. Et il y a tellement de taxi, qu'on en trouve toujours un au prix qu'on veut mettre.
Visiter les jardins de Majorelle à Marrakech, lieu tellement silencieux, quand on voit le monde en pleine ville; on ne peut imaginer que çà existe. Il y a également le Hammam de majorelle, (à coté des jardins), c'est encore un hammam traditionnel, prix très abordable.

pour repondre a vos questions, si vous passez par une agence de voyage ca vous coutera un peu plus cher et vous serez pas totalement libre de visiter et d'etre emerveillé par la simplicite de vie des habitants. pour commencer; une Promenade qui vous permettra de découvrir divers monuments, caractéristiques de l’Art Islamique et Mauresque de Marrakech.
-Koutoubia : Elle servit de modèle à la Giralda de Séville. Aussi haute que celles de Notre Dame de Paris, les quatre faces sont différentes.
-Tombeaux Saâdiens : la porte d’entrée est au fond d’une petite impasse après le mûr de la mosquée Mausolée du XVIème siècle, qui abrite la tombe du Sultan Ahmed el-Mansour, entouré de ses fils.
-Palais El -Badie: Construit en un temps record
-Musée de Tiskiwin : il est entre le palais de la Bahia et le musée Dar Si Saïd. ... la Médersa Ben Youssef, chef d’œuvre des monuments de la ville.
La Ménara Marrakech, , symbole de Marrakech au même titre que le Minaret de la Koutoubia.
-jardin des majorelles:qui furent crée par le peintre français jacques majorelle.
bab ed dbagh:donne accès au quartier des tanneurs les méthodes traditionnelles de traitement des peaux et du travail des cuirs.
ensuite partir en dehors de la marrakech. Ballade "Au coeur du pays berbère" à travers l'une des vallées les mieux préservées du Maroc.vous passerez par de multiple village comme village aghbalou, un peu plus loin village aitmechkoul jusqu'a siti fadma situé a prés de 1500 m d'altitude( les 7 cascades) ou vous pouvez vous reposer et manger un bon tajine berbere
aussi vous pouvez aller voir:
moulay brahim:Saint au Maroc, Pèlerinage Maroc, Brahim, à 5 km d'Asni
asni:, ToubkalAsni, village berbère à 47 km de Marrakech, est situé à plus de 1000 m d'altitude, et se trouve au pied du mont le plus haut du Maroc (Djebel Toubkal à4165m). C'est le souk du samedi qui est le plus intéressant.
et si vous continuez vers la route de taroudant vous emprunteriez la route de tizint test merveilleuse pour les paysages que vous allez decouvrir .et bien sur vers le sud ouarzazat et ses beau paysages magique .
je vous propose aussi de visiter la ville d'essaouira a 178km de marakech une petite ville a visiter dans moins d'une journée .
pour le transport y a des grand taxi qui vous emmenent jusqu'a ces endroits, mais ce qui sera mieux de louer une voiture comme ca vous serez trankil et vous visiterez tant que vous voudrez, et si vous voulez je vous ferais visiter ces endroits .

nous pensons faire trois jours sur marrakech pour visiter tranquillement seuls, aller faire une journee a ouarzazate, 1 vallee de l'ourika et ensuite les cascades d'ouzoud.voila pour l'instant les destinations!!

My plan is roughly to do a road trip loop from Rabat back to Rabat, passing through Asilah, Tangier, Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Akchour, Fès, Meknès, and Volubilis.
That’s a lot of cities.
Probably a bit too many for our taste—we usually prefer more isolated spots...

Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?
I plan to visit several cities and do one or more treks with a guide or agency.

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 3: Stop in Tetouan
Day 4-5-6: Chefchaouen and a day hike in the Rif Mountains
Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!)
Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis
Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

Tickets for entry to Majorelle Garden are only issued online via an official site
(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.

Day 5: Hurghada, then drive to Luxor in the early afternoon

For the Hurghada trip, either rent a car or—easier—a private car/van.
Is it worth adding an extra day in Luxor?
